Okay everyone saying "uh you need to size up for fashion nova" THE WHOLE POINT OF A SIZE CHART IS SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO THAT LOL why are just accepting companies poor sizing? Number sizes very depending on where you are buying from. Thats why the measurements are included. For example if I buy jeans at american eagle, a 27 inch waist is a size 4. However if I buy them from fashionova a 27 inch waist is a size 5. This isn't a fair evaluation because she didn't follow the size guide. If she took her measurements instead of basing her size off of other stores, the clothes would have fit.

Fashion Nova sizing comes small, I ordered a dress and i'm a UK 10-12 which is a fashion nova medium and it came like it was a size small!! I managed to 'squeeze' into it but I would deffo have to order a large next time which btw in other shops and according to their size chart I am not! Completely agree with this video, never understand how the models fit into small when their hips are 10x bigger than mine!!

My first and only time, I purchased a jacket from them (the quality was awful and looks nothing like the picture online) and pants (not true to size and too tight). I always go to their website and put stuff in cart/save it for later but never follow through to purchase the clothes. 💀

Yep! The measurements are going to be more accurate than the "size". Size numbers differ from store to store.
There is no such thing as a "true" size these days. They are just arbitrary numbers to make people feel better or worse about their bodies. Inches is probably one of the better ways to get fitted for clothing. I can be a size 7 at forever21 and then a size 2 at ny and company. Relying on those numbers instead of the inch measurements are going to lead to wildly different things.
I feel like something wnt wrong in deciding size as well because I'm curvy and have had no issues with pants from them. They're the only ones that fit my curves. When i would buy pants from other stores pants would be tight around the thighs and loose around the waist or vice versa. Now that i get them from fashionnova they fit waaaay better.

Another thing is that fashion nova carries different brands on the website and in store and that contributes to different sizing across different items. I got three pairs of the classic high waist skinny jeans that had the same exact description but apparently come from different brands. One of the jeans were stretchy, one of the jeans had a medium stretch and the other jeans were stiff with barely any stretch (which was weird b/c they were branded as the same jeans but different colors). Fashion nova does have the measurements for all their clothing types on the chart so I would go with that instead of general sizes.
The light blue were stiff. Medium blue were semi stretchy and the dark blue were suuuper stretchy lol Did the same pair give you that problem too?
I'm glad someone with a platform finally speak on their clothes and fraudulent business method. They did the same with my reviews. Only thing that ever works for me are their jeans (with the fraudulent fashion nova tags on them). Ladies make sure you are getting your appropriate discounts at checkout or when you return. Because if you don't look at it they may get you!!!

What people fail to realize is
1. sizes are JUNIOR to begin with
2. Majority if not ALL of their clothes are the cheap brands that were bought from Department stores that went out of business
3. If you look at the brands some of them are still being sold in Macy's in the Junior Clearance section.
4. They use the cheapest of fabrics which is why the fit is horrible
5. The clothes used on the models are usually samples made with better quality fabrics
I bought from them once to see what the hype was about .... NEVER AGAIN

Also I think they use petite models. Fashion Nova, I believe, has stated the tallest model is 5'5" on Twitter or another SM account. That will explain the awkwardness in the crouch/ inseam.
fashion nova either works or doesn’t, it tends to fit better on people that are curvier, hence why they target them. I do think they need to be more all inclusive- But I mean, it’s like me shopping at H&M, it’s going to be a disaster and it’s not going to work because the clothes aren’t for my body type.
People try on Fashion Nova over and over again and always end up complaining about it - it’s time to move onto another company then. Know what pieces work for your body type, measure yourself, size up, whatever.
It's crazy people are so mad when this is a junior's clothing site. Women need to buy women's or misses clothing. Not juniors. Women's sizes run in even numbers.

Fashion nova knows exactly what they’re doing. They have the hype of celebrities who just do what they have to for their own coin... we see the hype, believe it (which they do have really cute clothes) we order (items are a hit or miss) but we spend the money anyway &&* they keep the cash only allowing store credit if you return 😒😒😒
The worst things is sometimes you find the same items in stores like Pretty Girl or Rainbows for was less than Fashion Nova. Those are my stores, I be in there for the low 🤷🏽♀️

Whenever an item gets endorsed by a celebrity, I just don't buy it. My way of thinking is that they're getting paid for it regardless if it's good or not. I like to buy thing that everyday people try on and give their honest opinions on.

i’m a size 13 in american eagle/hollister and forever 21 jeans. i ordered a size 13 in the beach bum jeans on FN and some other things like a top and bottom set, a silk looking dress and a cropped long sleeve shirt. i previously ordered two stretchy dresses the week before and they fit fine. so i decided to order the pieces that i said i ordered. when they arrived NOTHING fit. the package arrived right as i was leaving for work and i was excited to throw and outfit on, but NOTHING FIT. the pants didn’t go past my thighs, i popped a button off the damn crop top, the dress barely went over my head, and the set looked so flea market to me. and i ordered everything a size up. i’m a thick girl but i am not a “fat” girl. no offense to all my other beautiful curvy queens out there. so i gave away all the clothes to my cousin who is 124 pounds... and they fit her perfectly. the size Large clothes i ordered, fit my XS-S cousin perfectly. except for the pants that were too big for her, which fit my SIZE 7 coworker. and i had ordered a size 13. i am highly disappointed that i spent my hard earned money on such half assed clothes. better luck at the flea market

Honestly, i'm a plus sized girl and I don't even wear a 3x in my normal sizes but someone told me they run small so order the biggest size. Did that and they still don't fit! Not to mention the legs on the pants practically drag the floor. Apparently plus size is tall with a butt

So glad you made a video on this. I ordered three jeans from there they don't fit in a flattering way at all in the booty area. And the pants feel to have extra material crease up(too big). It looks good from the front not the back basically and fits a bit big.
