- If you were going to mention the top automotive creators on UA-cam today there is no denying you would mention Adam LZ. From a humble BMX channel to a Formula Drift driver, there are not many UA-cam creators with a similar journey. Today we hop in Adam's 2JZ swapped Toyota Chaser rocking over 600 horsepower to the wheels! This thing is an absolute riot on it's 235 rear tires and its desire to kick sideways. The Toyota Chaser is a mystery to most Americans, so lets see what this incredible build is all about.

Hey ive loved your videos forever but I’ve noticed over the years they are just getting shorter and shorter :(
And its stanced with undersized tires...this fad in tuning is just getting old. Its akin to the guys with lifted trucks with neon and giant rims...do what you want with your money but it adds nothing of value to a great car like a chaser.
@@joshbechaistron791 it's not that stanced, and Adam has said that the undersized tyres are to stop the gearbox from shattering

This reminds me of the rare times on the smoking tire where the owner of the car would be sitting passenger and actually have something interesting to add and not just sound like a robot. I also liked the clips of other four door drift cars

@@WyattWill what?? Matt has literally always been a dick, and tbh the tone of the show hadnt changed much in the last 3 years. The show was a lot more pretentious and plain wrong in the beginning (5+ years ago), if anything Matt has toned it down a ton.
@@SicSemperBeats in the beginning it was cheesy though which ironically made it more watchable. And now Matt is a total self-righteous jagoff that he thinks he's the Anthony Bourdain of cars, especially with his podcast which is entirely unlistenable.

Adam's builds are always so tasteful and he gives every car the respect it deserves. One of the many things i love about his content.
Also, he's very particular about certain things and when he says he wants to make a little tweak to something it always ends up being the right decision.
I'm a huge Adam fan and I've always appreciated how he has always balanced form and function with all of his cars. They perform just as good as they look
I think the 335i is probably the only “daily” he has that didn’t follow this formula but even then he’s gonna come back to it eventually and get it dialed
Scaring Adam in his own car is the highlight of my day
R154 has the longest 3rd gear I've ever had the pleasure of using. In my 700hp supra I would just reel people in in 3rd it's so so long. What kills them normally is hard launches. If you are nice to it from a dig it'll last you forever

Adam is a madman, and I love everything he does. he also happens to be an absolutely kick-ass musician!! his skill as a guitarist makes me wanna improve to the point of being as good as him, but ya' know, there's also the obvious facts that he's a phenomenal driver, absolutely wild BMX rider, and a very humble and amazing guy! I hope to meet him one day so I can have nerdy car and music conversations with him.

My favorite cars ever from Japan! CHASER GANG GANG! Jimmy , Johan and Adam are going to have the 3 most awesome Chasers ever built! I also would love to have a 1992 to 2000 Aristo from Japan that's going to be my new import if I can find a nice one out there for sale! Kinda like Herts Aristo from Hoonigan!

@@shona5512 Yea true. In his 34, adam almost no-lift shifted from 3rd to 4th gear. TDIB does shift way better imo.
