Despite how disappointing that was, the way how the siblings’ reunion ended makes perfect sense. I bet the mind wipe is precisely the reason why Abyssal sibling even decided to commit to this. During their conversation, one can see how the sibling seems to not be very sure about this whole “Abyss engulf the thrones” thing. They knew their resovle isn’t that strong and that it could be shaken even further if they had a proper conversation with the Traveller. Heck, I personally believe that if the Traveller really tried to convince the sibling to just drop this whole thing and dip, they would have a decent chance of success. The sibling clearly misses the Traveller as well, so I think that with the mind wipe, they hoped to indulge themselves without any emotional consequences. But fortunately, our boi Caribert, the man, the GOAT, the best boy, made sure that didn’t work out. How will that affect their future meeting? Guess we’ll have to wait another year or two for that one…

Problem is that Nicole was described as being 'like a prophetess'(not actually one) who can 'speak into someone's mind'. But Alice specified she only does this when a major change has happened in the world, and she feels someone needs guidance. Alice described her as a 'guide who will never get lost' which implies a different skillset altogether. As far as the Traveler knows, she's invested in the world's 'direction and order' and keeps to herself.
But the Traveler saw the crystal, heard its voice, and witnessed how it affected Chlothar. It was very clear that the crystal influenced the creation of the Abyss Order. It was even able to wake Caribert up from wherever his mind had been the whole time. The crystal was swirling with the same power as the upside-down statue. The power the Abyss Order wants to use to take down the Divine Thrones of Celestia(which ended up being the result of the Fontaine Prophecy, the Hydro Throne getting destroyed entirely[and the power returning to its rightful owner]).
Putting both side by side, add on some other things. Mona mentioned Visionaries first. She says reading the fate of the entire world would make her a Visionary and not an Astrologist, and it takes a lot of power she doesn't have yet. She then said her Master, B, would be able to do it, and probably other members of the Hexenzirkel, but she didn't specify which ones. After that, the Traveler then met Skirk who asked if they were familiar with 'the Visionary' and name-dropped him right there so she could compare him to her Master in terms of their goals.
At this point in time, the Traveler is aware of there being 1 confirmed Visionary. And considering the goal of the faction he's apparently aligned with, compared to what Focalors ended up doing for Fontaine to get back at the Heavenly Principles, it DOES make sense that the Traveler would assume it must be him. But the Traveler has made incorrect assumptions before, and characters ARE allowed to do that. We have no idea what MHY is planning, and it could literally be anything. The MC making an assumption and working off of that isn't unheard of. And if it's the wrong assumption, it doesn't affect much in the long run as it just served as motivation in the end.

Something interesting in Sigewinne's story quest that you didn't mention is also the optional conversation between Neuvillette and Wriothesley right at the end. I find it quite intriguing because it's one of our only pieces of information on what Neuvillette was actually doing before he became Iudex (which is a question Wriothesley asks him directly), as well as give a pretty clear indication that Wriothesley may have figured out who Neuvillette truly is, or at least that he has a good guess, and that Neuvillette might be more or less okay with it. The first suggestion that Wriothesley has a hunch on him was already given in 4.1, but it was lost in the English localization, so I'm glad they put it another one.
Also Sigewinne is basically confirmed to know Neuvillette's true identity, seeing as she knows rain comes from him and also has a full and true understanding of the Fontainians and Primordial Seawater situation, which makes me wonder if all Melusines do. Going back to Neuvillette's character introduction, in which there was also a Melusine talking about him in a very cryptic way, I suppose it's possible they do.

Edit 2: The quest proposed that you can change your face and the color of your body and there is no issue as long as you acted the same way you did before... yeah whitewashing is irrelevant to them, the quest was great at pointing out why xD

7:10 I wonder IF it was actually scrapped. Dain did call it :
*Dainsleif: "...'Loom of Fate,' initial operation."*
*Dainsleif: It seems like they are still launching the operation, or rather, are still conducting preliminary tests...*
So i wonder if everything concerning Caribert was just a test to see if loom of fate powers work and then they'll carry out the same thing with mechanized god as the actual loom of fate with full power
So, basically the plan steps are:
    1. Retrieve Osial
    2. Create a mechanized (i assume controllable) God
    3. Test out the Loom of Fate powers with Caribert
    4. If works, repeat the process with mechanized god as the loom of fate
    5. Profit (i guess???)

hard to say when Cataclysm is also happening at the same time or meeting the twin is right after the Cataclysm. its far more likely to be a domino effect where youre spending your godly power to dispatch a nation and then have to dispatch 2 beings that can be assumed godly being as well. thats why, imo, half a millenia later and she still is asleep. or maybe she isnt and everyone just assume she is bcs she doesnt do anything while on her side, she think she could tolerate the new "dangers", who knows. we can theorize literally anything that happened to her really, since all we have is basically 2nd person perspective, a subjective take on it as well

Yes, fate in Teyvat is like a machine as already hinted throughout the story. So even if the Heavenly Principles (HP) is asleep, its preordained rules and prophecies will still be carried out by Fate. Focalors was not a member of The Seven during the cataclysm so its very unlikely that she knew about the HP's situation. Still, whether the HP is active or not, her deception would still work. The reason for this is that the HP would only be aware of the deception if the Fate machine finds it. None of the things that happened in the Archon Quest (AQ) exposed Focalors' plan to the Fate machine. The events that should have exposed this such as Neuvillete and Focalors conversation, Traveller's experience in Furina's mind, and the return of the Hydro dragon's authority all happened in a dream. The events are both dream and reality. As nicole hinted, there are hidden corners in which the HP/Fate's gaze do not fall, which in this case are dreams. As such, Focalors' plan would still be successful either way. Still if the HP is active, it would notice the disappearance of the Hydro Archon's throne, but it could not stop Focalors' plan. The prophecy is already fulfilled, thus the HP would need to find another way/prophecy to punish the people of Fontaine.

Just wanted to point out that the moment they described the devorator and what it does, my brain immediately went to Hyms from Witcher 3. One of the creepiest quests in that game that involved this thing that possesses a human, torments it with nightmares, forces them to mutilate themselves as 'punishment', and eventually devours their souls completely, before moving on to the next person. Hyms likes guilty consciences, as that's the source of the torment. There is no real way of killing a Hym...it's like a HSR Heliobus, you can only really banish it from a human host, rendering it powerless for a couple decades, and when periods of calamity or war occurs again, it will regain it's powers & start hunting human souls again.

The thing that bothers me about the abyss sibling is that we only see them in places where the ley lines have been tampered with, this tell either one of two things, the abyss sibling is just a memory projection and is no longer here or the easy way out, it's just because coincidence in the sense that it's just because their work with the ley lines have them always busy, so we are only going to find them in this places, but the fact that no one in teyvat have seen the abyss twin makes me think that the abyss twin is trapped inside the abyss and leak projections through the ley lines once the monsters, abyss mages and heralds disorder them 🤔

The idea that the traveler is a native to Teyvat and everyone else are "aliens" is something I had in mind for quite a long time. 10:21 This proves that Irminsul does not edit memories. Because if it did then they would work in the same way that they do in the Bedtime Story quest (since the Loom is basically a mini Irminsul sort of). The quality of the memory changing experience from the incomplete Loom (which Caribert says is as good as it ever gets for the incomplete Loom, and that the completed Loom has no such ability at all) is incompatible with the way memories are different after an Irminsul samsara shift. Specifically:
    * Irminsul memory change doesn't lead to memory conflicts
    * Irminsul memory change can have the passage of time
The reason Caribert doesn't attempt to have the passage of time in his memory edits is to avoid conflicts - and we can assume he also means conflicts between the physical world and the added memories as well as conflicts between new and old memories. In other words he is deliberately limiting himself to new memories at a certain time of day to avoid people realizing their memory has been edited. This sort of discussion isn't new. The whole topic was talked out in the Sabzeruz festival with Dehya and her weapon practice dummy. So twice now the game has said that editing memories is hard (impossible) because people would notice subtle (or not so subtle) inconsistencies.
Interestingly both times the game debunks memory editing, it also debunks time travel. Sabzeruz has the Traveler consider time travel as a solution only for Nahida to shoot them down. In Bedtime story the Traveler just straight out says time travel is basically impossible.
It seems to me this is a pretty huge "coincidence" and what's really going on is that the Devs are telling us what the nature of Teyvat is NOT. They are not so direct in telling us what the nature of Teyvat IS, but basically it's that the whole timeline of Teyvat's reality can be re-written / re-run (as if in a cycle) but that the consciousness of the Traveler doesn't travel back in time to the start of the cycle and go through everything from 500 years ago each iteration. Instead the Traveler's consciousness stays "when" it is within the cycle as the cycle changes which feels like the Traveler is picked up and dropped into a parallel world ("isekai") where everyone else has lived lives a little bit different from their counterparts in the old samsara, but not differently enough to change who they are in some weird "incarnation" sense.
Exactly the difference between the self in one cycle ("samsara") and the corresponding self in the next, is explored through the character of Scaramouche / Wanderer, and the on-going debate that Wanderer has with Nahida over whether Scaramouche is the same as Wanderer, and the ethical implications (if any) this has for Wanderer. And they disagree. A lot. So we just don't get told the answer here. The Devs might be leaving it up to the players. Is Wanderer right or is Nahida right?

Consider the fact that the loom of fate is its own system that creates its own leylines, so the incompatibilities could be Caribert's attempt at not interfering with the current leylines, thus why the implanted memories worked differently from Irminsul editing.

To your point, about fate being a mechanism, we have the Gnosis. We know that the Gnosis establishes one of the divine seats within the kingdom of the Heavens, a spot for each of the Archons. That the Gnosis is made from the Sovereign of each element and the body of a Descender fused together. A Descender is able to freely move through Teyvat, they are not a part of Iriminsul and thus are not subject to its rules and can change things. By fusing them together it would be possible to enforce laws upon Teyvat by circumventing Iriminsul.
So here me out, going back to 1.1. Stars, Visions, and Gnosis. We know that Visions are not handed out from an Archon but the people who gain them are in a way, close to the ideals or some version of the Archon. Now why does that matter, because each person is essentially slaves to fate, that their lives, fates, everything is already recorded within the stars. Stars are physical objects that form constellations within Teyvat's false sky, essentially everything is written out for all living beings from the moment they're born. And this is enforced through the Archons and the Visions, Celestia is using the Gnosis to essentially force those with visions to play to the script. That those capable of ascending to Celestia may be viewed as a threat, so their Visions are Celestia's collars almost, linking them directly to the Gnosis and their Constellations. Using the power of a Descender to modify their individual fates, to act *against* Iriminsul and further forcing Vision holders to act according to their Constellations, to the false sky that Celestia has created. That Fate is basically a prison, like the one we saw when Venessa ascended to Celestia. The Archons are important because it whittled down the amount of people who could ascend or defy Celestia while acting as part of the mechanism. Seemingly a living being is needed to use the Gnosis, which would in turn connect it back. Archons are just the trigger mechanism that Celestia created in order to keep this in place. It would explain why Celestia started the Archon war by announcing the divine thrones and play into the original trailer where it was said that the "Gods goad us on with their seven treasures".

Also, about the HEAVENLY PRINCIPLES being asleep, with what we know now thanks to Anya Andersdotter, I think the heavenly principles act and wake up just when Fate isn't met, taking the Focalor example if she would've save Fontaine without being punished then the heavenly principles would've acted to correct the course of her fate, because fate dictated that she needed to be punished and I think visions are related to this too, I think they are bestowed by fate itself when the will of that allogene is at is peak and fate needs to ensure that they follow the steps towards their inevitable fate and not something different, because if that happens then a chain of events related to that fate will begin to unbound, and fate is completely intertwined in a big tapestry with every allogene in it, if one starts to follow a different fate then the whole tapestry will start to rip apart and form big holes, puckered and twisted threads and the loom will need to stop and with that time itself, and just like you do with a scarf made of wool, you unwind the threads and fix the mess from the point in time were it was following the correct course ✨✨✨

I believe the Heavenly Principles is asleep because that's how they sustain the world; through their memories of it in their dreams. Their loom of fate is literally the Principles's memories. They remember what happened in the previous loop, so now they create the world and its characters and their constellations via dreaming with the Irminsul, as a perfect copy of the previous loop, a.k.a. fate is set-in-stone until a Descender (someone who can defy this fate) takes their place. That would explain why Lumine is no longer a descender.
It happens that she WAS a descender in the first loop she lived, but after it ended, the Principles collected her information to "recreate her" from their memories and ever since then, since the Principles can remember her, they can also give her a constellation and a set-in-stone fate + they proved she cannot change the fate of the world since they didn't do it in the first loop, and there is only 1 chance to do it before you're absorbed into the memory bank, TL;DR meaning: she is no longer a descender because God has already seen her life and remembers her.
When the Principles wakes up the loop or samsara will be over, and it will either begin again (this time with Aether being absorbed into the memory bank too), or they "lose" and Aether takes over the throne, given the power of fate and the ability to "re-weave" reality to his liking through his memories of the world and what he experienced as a WITNESS.
We can assume by this that the Principles was probably like Aether before they got to the throne. Just a Witness who later used the history he witnessed to weave the next reality, and ever since then it has been a loop between them getting the power and them waking up (no longer dreaming the world) and starting a new loop or getting replaced.

That theory technically happened in Genshin's parent story Honkai, though Genshin narrative seems to be close to Honkai part 1.5, 2 and Penacony story in Star Rail. It can be assumed that the Heavenly Principals/Primordial One is from the destroyed civilization and tries to re-create it with several loops, similar to Sa. Though based on some dialogue and world quests, it appears to be the final samsara, and the chosen traveller might be the final chance for Teyvat's survival within the endless sea of data/memories.

Reguarding the siblings origins.... I think its more like this:
Traveler and sibling are from Teyvat. But they also have the power to leave and travel other worlds. On a trip Returning to Teyvat, they met the HP and got seperated. That is why the sibling is native to Teyvat even when traveler is considered a decender.
Some headcannon here, but I think its more like The siblings arent people but constructs? Like Avatars. Since Rukkadevhata is the avatar construct of Irminsul and a snapped branch is Nahida, whos to say there aren't more "people" who are extentions of a greater part? Now there used to be a giant tree runnign through all the corners of teyvat but it was destroyed by a celestial nail and thats why we can find pieces of this withered tree in Dragonspine (Which we partially repair), Enkanomiya, Chasm, Inazuma, Inside Deshrets Paradisea, And at the end of almost every domain where that bright silver and blue tree root depositis goodies for the traveler like artifacts and talent books. That silver blue tree is the OLD world order before Irminsul was implanted and I think the siblings are two branches or avatars of that tree. This is stated in a lot of the LOADING SCREEN TEXT and one side comment from paimon while you are in underground chasm where she mentions the silver tree looks similar to the one in dragonspine, and... the wiki picks up from there. These are noted as "Withered Trees" And the community has found them all over teyvat, maybe another with Natlan now.
They explored the universe, (Like in Guardians of the Galaxy how Ego was able to move his consiousness into an avatar, despite his physical location being an entire planet) but when they returned home, Heavenly principles had taken over and tried to subdue them. They capture the sibling first, and in that moment they reach out for each other I think whats really happening is a manipulation of their own internal leylines. Which is why the traveler appears in a "Future" 500 years later and sibling ends up in Khanrea from 500 years ago. They ARE the original leylines/Tree so manipulation of time is just a memory to them. This is also why In this bedtime story quest Travler is like, "Nah, time travel is much more complex" Like what? Who confidently says somethign like that unless they have the ability?
__Anyway TLDR. __ I think Sibling and traveler are Avatar like-branches of the original Tree before Irminsul. They left home when the Primordial one arrived and took over, and when they returned they were ambushed by heavenly principles maintaining control. In their last ditch effort to preserve their conciousness Twin went 500 years to past and Traveler went 500 years to future through leyline memories in order to escape being put into those "Boxes"
( Side note: HP uses to seperate mind from conciousness and reduce the hull of a body into a monster (All of khanrea images caribert quersts imply he was in a room for a long time sealed from the outside, a box))
(Also side note: There is a game called Nier Gestalt and the plot line is pretty similar to genshin. Spoilers for that 14 year old game. The spirit and body of people are seperate and the minds of all these people before a cataclysm were preserved and are the living entities residing in the npcs we meet in town, but they are kind of just... "ghosts?" taking possession over the actual resident npcs. Meanwhile their bodies or what remains of consiousness is the enemies we fight in the overworld and this is why sometimes enemies drop things like school books because the player character is litterally killing children-turned-monsters) The point of Nier takes on lots of different perspectives on what a whole human is supposed to be. Is it the soul? Is it the body? If someone is reconstructed into a human again, are they a new being or a restoration of the old one? The whole neir series is similar like this and then in the future robots also posess humanity and gain the ability to reproduce and die, so are they not humans either? Or are humans just a label? Its an extremely good series, but has to be played MULTIPLE TIMES to unlock the true ending, I'd recommend just finding a youtuber to cover the whole thing if you havent played it already. After the whole deal with caterpillar, this really does seem to have alot of similarities with GEnshin. Maybe its because they both use the same er- ideology? Mythos? As a guide, but its good. trust.

I don't actually think the Narwhal WAS the cause of the flood. We've been told in Nymph's Dream that it would drain the sea, which should lower the water level, not raise it. It's possible the Narwhal was actually slowing the flood down! The Abyss Order apparently didn't know if the Principles were actually asleep, and they used Focalors' success to verify, so it would have been in their interest to help her (it's worth noting the slates don't depict The Narhwal; it's mentioned only in the extra info, almost like maybe at one point they didn't mention the narwhal at all. And had Rhinedottir not summoned Elynas, there would've still been Oceanids in Fontaine, who could have picked up on Furina's humanity, so maybe ALL of the Sinners were in on this [which makes Nicole even more suspicious]).

    • @Crusader050
      @Crusader050 Місяць тому +2

I think it was more of the Traveler/Neuvillette's fight with the Narwhal that caused the flood in the end. The Narwhal had been absorbing the life energy from primordial sea water this whole time (I don't think the Narwhal had been literally drinking the sea), so the explosive confrontation led to roiling hydro energy that resulted in the flood.

I wonder if you know any of the elden ring magic icebergs, but in case you don't summoning Igon against Bayle has a CLEAR example of investing one's spirit in an object to be used to summon a ghostly projection.
This can be done to cast ones own spirit into another realm in epden ring too. The aggressive invasion summons detaile lore for it. (If that were done in genshin it would look more like how the hexenzircle communicate through projections. Though the teapot would be ghostly bodies.)

on Vedrfolnir being the one who carved the stone slates, it's a logical conclusion considering what we know imo. He's the only visionary mentionned through the game, and even if mona says her master could also scry teyvat's fate, i notice two things:
-She thinks her master's friends might be able to do something similar -> similar =/= same, so B's ability is rather unique, even among the hexenzierkel's witches, and i think N's powers aren't comparable either. I'd also argue that making different witches hold different abilities would make each of them stand out more; from a character writing standpoint, it's a quite logical choice.
-Even her master, petty enough to change her own surname to flex even more in front of her disciple, didn't dare to call herself a visionary, but kept the title "astromancer" instead. The way Mona distinguishes between the two makes me think that it's not as much a matter of how much an individual can see rather than how they see. Similar to how one would compute matrix multiplication by going through each row x column, when someone else would be able to see what those matrices and vectors would represent in a multidimensional space. That's to say, they can reach the same result, but that's almost two different worldviews. If you compute, you're a mathematician, if you visualize the multidimensional spaces, you're... some kind of computer ig? but being good at calculus doesn't make you a computer, that's two different things.
Anyway, until we get introduced to another visionary, he's the n°1 suspect, but since we know so little about him in the first place, it doesn't have any implications in the story rn.

I'm still at the beginning of the video so it will be a bit embarrassing if you address it later (or if you or someone else already addressed it in a different theory and I either didn't watch or completely forgot about it), but the fact that you mentioned that Dain used to be associated with the othe five Sinners made a massive tilt in my head.
The Pale Princess and the Six Pygmies. We know who the six pygmies are now:
    - The blind who climbed high to get a better view (vision-related business, so Vedrfolnir),
    - The fool (following the logic of "the tale's attributes are the exact opposite to what the pygmy is doing prior to being saved, and an antonym to the actual person's title", that would be Hroptatyr)
    - The timid (who wants to fight whenever he talks in the story, so Surtalogi),
    - The shrunken (given the mention of a "garden" I am inclined to attributing this one to Rhinedottir, considering the fact that Gold's activities were originally related to creating life in a barren world),
    - The carefree (by process of elimination, Rerir. Note how in the end of Volume 4, the Princess conveniently doesn't say what the Kingdom of Light is supposed to bring to them, the tale leaves this pygmy with the least amount of details)
    - ...and the first one seen in the tale, the one who asked for help and vowed his loyalty to the Princess: Dainsleif.
Whatever happens in the tale is a series of events that happened at some point (with freedom of interpretation, just like Nahida's tale about Wanderer), but which was likely overwritten by Irminsul at some point -- so it must give a different story to what everyone actually remembers of Khaenri'ah. But still, considering the fact that it was the Abyss Order who was after this book, I think it's now a safe bet to assume that the six pygmies are indeed the six Sinners (especially considering what the pygmies do in the tale).
I have a hypothesis regarding the identity of the Prince (the Third Descender who was killed in order to forge the gnoses?), but this is a rather weak match (especially when the story we know has said Descender being killed by someone else, with the Sinners' involvement coming untold at best (aka this is either "this is where the story was rewritten, originally it was the Sinners who killed them but in the current Teyvat it was the Heavenly Principles who did it instead" (in the same way Scaramouche erasing himself from Irminsul simply meant that people remembered the same murders being perpetrated by a third party instead), or just a completely wrong guess)), so I'll just drop the thought here.

About Fate being a machine --- (could it be called P.A.I.M.O.N. ?! The one we get emails from?!) -- I think it's referenced in Chenyu Vale. When we're repairing the big teapot. There's a line that says (paraphrased) "Anything left alone for a long time will begin to break down." And I don't know why, but it sounded like a very deliberate allegory/metaphor/whatever for the system of fate/Celestia/the Heavenly Principles.
I think we're going to find that while the Principles have been sleeping, the Fate system has been breaking down, throwing errors and whatnot. Maybe the hilichurls were never supposed to be cursed, but kind of fell through the cracks of the reincarnation system. Bugs in the system. They've been around from before the fall of Khaenri'ah, yeah, but maybe they only started appearing after the war with the Second, when the Principles had their functions ruined and went to sleep, and the Fate machine started breaking down.

15:10 I still believe Focalors' deceit and Furina's Sufferring were kinda pointless. Why?
    1. The Heavenly sussy were in fact "Asleep" In light of recent quests. Deceiving someone that is not even aware they are being deceived is pointless no?
    2. Now Focalors's goal was more befitting not to deceive, but rather, to fulfill quotas!
now I've read a well written reddit post, it pretty much summed up what went down in 4.2 Archon q.
My only issue was, imo, it was safe for Focalors to let Furina know the deets of their plan
and save her from centuries of torment trying to come up with futile solutions to subvert the prophecy.
I understand that she has a role to fulfill and play, that she needs to weep at her throne at the end for the prophecy to be completed.
But I think her weepin doesn't need to be genuine she just needs to tick the box that fate in laid upon them and it would meet the conditions "technically" as Ashikai said. The prophecy only states "what" will happen, not "how" so maybe have some hydro mimic slap her face at the end so hard that'll make her weep 😂🤣Ik it sounds ridiculous and it may not be appealing story telling wise, but it might just work.
Furinayo shouldn't have suffered. Focalors should Unalivex2 NOW ⚡⚡

I wouldn’t think too hard about the minister and the king. Florian did not complete the story but needed a way for the group to acquire the Maruchausee Hunters’ legacy. So, he made up an obvious villain in the form of the minister to move the campaign along.

Hi! This is actually not even releated to the Theory, but I have an interesting, well not exactly theory, but rather an observation about Furina. As we know, now Furina is only a human after the 4.2 archon quest, but she is quite a strange case... First off all she can use phnumea and ousia(but these ars only gameplay elemetns, and even if 99.9% of gamplay transitions to in universe things, it's still to weak of an evidence. Also we don't even know if vision users using arche is an in universe thing). But the constellation is where things get interesting. As we know she has the constellation of herself, so it's like other ARCHON constellations. Why is that interesting? Because the devs could have easily changed it, because they are extremly into little details. It could have been a oceanid, a jellyfish, even a mermaid or a swan, and it would still be on point with her character(I also want to point out, that it can be because she is still an "archon" according to gameplay and in game patterns, but let's get that out of the way). She is NOT Focalors after all, they had different fates and they are considered different entities. Why would they share a constellation? Also, her vision is different(which people explain with Neuvillette giving her one. I don't like that explanation, because it was clearly said, that her vision was a gift for her hard work). She is different than other humans, and that's strange, even after considering her past as an "archon". I will make the crazy statement, that she is an archon, a real one this time. Befire you call me crazy(even if I did like two lines ago), let me explain myself. The other archons praised her for what she has done, and they even say she will go down in history as a god and has the willpower of an archon. This is important because we know that willpower is basically one's ambition, and those are the core aspect of the game. But the throne of the hydro archon is no more, how could she be an archon? It's because, she isn't a real archon after all, but rather she WOULD HAVE BEEN. Listen here, we haven't seen a human becone an archon to this day, but it doesn't mean that it can't happen. You see the point I am trying to say is that she would have becone the next Hydro archon after Focalor dies, but as we know, not only Focalor died, but the Hydro archon's throne was destroyed, so Furina couldn't become an archon. I will explain this with a theatre metafor(how fitting). So basically Furina got the role to play as the next Hydro archon, but before the show started, at a last moment change, the character of the Hydro archon was written out of the play. It means she would have been the next archon if the throne wasn't destroyed. Because what makes an archon an archon? (Celestia, but that's unrelated) Their strong desire for a concept. Venti, Zhongli, Ei and Nahida all showed, that they care most about the concept they believe in. Furina believed in Justice more than anything. She put her happyness on a scale with the fate of the world and made a descision. That's why I think she would have been an archon. (Please inform me about any misinformation or plotholes, I would like to hear them! Also please forgive me for any mistakes I made and for my poor grammar, English is my second language)

Haven't gotten to that quest yet, but the plot reminds me of the Perfume novel (it takes place in Paris btw, so that tracks). The turning ppl's essence into perfume, the mysterious murders of young women etc.

I was staring at storm terrors lair at the map and zoning out when I realised that the bits of the map we can’t visit have a star/galaxy pattern. But scara said that the stars are fake or smth like that. Maybe it’s possible that the entirety of teyvat does not exist/ is fake and only becomes reality when the traveler visits it. Think about it. Simulanka was made out of paper and man made which could mean it’s fake? Maybe we’ll learn the truth in natlan

Sigewinne's quest was like Hoyoverse's version of the 1997 movie Face Off with John Travolta and Nicolas Cage. lol

maybe the term "asleep" is that they know what is going on but chose not to do anything about it because it doesn't bring any concern to them idk. seems pretty weird if they're actually asleep without knowing anything

xianxia is the one aspect of genshin's inspirations that i hesitate to learn more about. theres just something about chinese mythologies/storytelling forms that confuse me to no end--- despite plenty of attempts to figure it out.
and i know realistically, i would absolutely love xianxia bc its a culmination of my favorite fantasy tropes, but the thought of actually trying to learn about it is tiring... BC THERES SO MUCH TO IT
on another note, ive been theorizing about teyvat being a sort of coded computer-like world FOREVER, and i feel like the lore keeps gettijg closer to my theories.

Aint no way you used the Raidou Kuzunoha theme, specifically the Detective agency one for the ending.
