Have y’all ever thought that she may be speech impaired? If you don’t like the video, find another one. Think before you type! Thank you for taking the time to make this video for us sweetie. It helped me a lot.
honestly I'm tired of hearing suburban moms overexplaining every little simple detail all over these videos; the lack of talking is honestly very refreshing. just show me what you're doing and move on! in other words--this was very helpful, thank you
I dont understand what all these commenters dont understand about this video. She did not need to talk for me to see and understand what she is doing. She put a brother scan and cut embossing mat on her cricut mat because she is embossing, its a cricut maker air 2 it shows that clearly when she had to hook up her device. She chose aluminum 0.14 for her setting. Turn your phone sideways to enlarge video, it is called landscape mode. She showed you all the packaging
Same loll I do lots of arts and crafts and honestly, I often watch videos in silent or maybe in captions, but I usually care less for what they say and just want to be shown what to do
Beautifully done! You’ve inspired me to start designing and embossing. Thank you so much for the close ups and time spent to help us understand the tools!
Personally I liked that she did not talk. Most of the time the videos have so much talking and "look at me" at the start that it takes half the video. I usually fast forward to the point of the video. I even mute it. If I see something I need to review I rewind and pause. Which is what I did with the materials she showed. Pause look for it in amazon move on. That is how I found all the materials she showed. The only thing I would like to know is...What is the purpose of the embossing mat? I've seen other videos that do not use it. Thank you for your answer.
I can't believe all these rude comments. There are hundreds of videos on UA-cam that break down everything she's doing. She's just showing another material and the results . Shes not obligated to teach us anything. Stop being lazy and go watch another video elsewhere...or go to a Cricut group and ask people who are more than anxious to tell you what to do ...I can't believe yall..😳🤦🏾♀️
Its just me, but in addition to the "picture is worth a 1000 words", I prefer the lack of verbal narrative. But now to step in it. I very much appreciate unadorned nicely manicured hands.
Thanks for the good tutorial video! How can this kind of patterning be done on thin foil so that the foil does not tear? The idea would be to get this kind of electronic cutter, with which I could pattern the thinnest foil possible, which I would then glue to, for example, a motorcycle helmet or tank that I'm painting, creating a 3D-style effect and varnishing on top...can you tell me how to work with such a foil? Of course, the thick foil in your video can also be glued to it, but I'm just wondering if it requires a thick layer of varnish to make the surface of the helmet/tank smooth?
Watched your video just now. Really a game changer using scoring pen. But I am wondering why we need to use the embossing mat. How thick is the embossing mat? Thanks
this is very nice, thank you. Would be more of a tutorial if there were either verbal instructions or just typing some details of what you did, some of us are beginners and need more help!
I've been using my Cricut machine for embossing like this it's fab. But now the scoring tool doesn't seem to work properly. It's like it's not being held tight enough in the clamp. Have you had this happen?
would be useful if you spoke and explained things. First off - whats the sticky sheet on the mat? You whip the folder away too fast to even make it out!
Complaining? No, I’m simply commenting. Perhaps whoever made this video would benefit from some constructive comments and help them make better videos to gain followers in the future.
Oh.. so if I pause it, that’s going to explain what that white piece is? What kind of metal she used? It looks like foil to me, but let me rewatch... and pause....I’m sure that’s going to give a great explanation.
I need the name of the aluminum metallic cuz I can’t find it on Amazon and noooobody knows the name 🙄!!! Please I need help with!! Btw I love the video !! 👏🏽
What’s the white sheet under the foil? I’m looking into embossing for some hand held mirror invitations and haven’t really found it there’s templates or how to do it,
At the beginning of the video it shows that the white sheet is a Brother's scan and cut embossing mat. I don't believe Cricut has an embossing mat so that's why the Brother's embossing mat was tape over the Cricut mat. I just checked Amazon has it. Hope this helps :)
bat bull It’s actually a cutting machine, but she’s using a special embossing tool in the left slot. The blade is in the other slot. There are a few speciality items that can be used with the machine, but mostly it’s used for cutting and sometimes “drawing” with Cricut markers made to fit into the slots. Cricut also makes another machine called the Cricut Maker that’s very similar, but with much more cutting capability (cutting metal, heavy leather, etc). Wish I had saved up for the Maker, but I would absolutely recommend the Cricut to any crafter that can afford it. If you are interested in embossing, I imagine you’d get some good use out of the Maker for other creative work. If you’re familiar with Reddit, there’s a sub forum called r/cricut that shows a lot of good examples of what people use these types of machines for. There’s also a forum called Make The Cut (MTC) focused around cutting machines like the Cricut, Cameo, Silhouette, and vinyl plotters. I know this is an old comment, but I hope some of that was helpful!
worse tutorial ever. If someone is new to cricut crafts they would have no idea how to benefit from this. no links as to where to get products, no talking, no answering anyones questions
This is a rather useless video. Absolutely zero commentary as to what you are doing. Obviously you don't want anyone to know your secret of what materials you use or equipment details.
Have y’all ever thought that she may be speech impaired? If you don’t like the video, find another one. Think before you type! Thank you for taking the time to make this video for us sweetie. It helped me a lot.
You are so right, I never stopped to think about that. Thanks for your comment, I was just about to give it a dislike when I read it.
I wish I had seen this earlier! I had no idea that the scoring tool could deboss that deeply with that mat! So pretty!
honestly I'm tired of hearing suburban moms overexplaining every little simple detail all over these videos; the lack of talking is honestly very refreshing. just show me what you're doing and move on! in other words--this was very helpful, thank you

Thanks for this, now I can cut time on making hundreds of small flowers that requires embossing.
Personally I liked that she did not talk. Most of the time the videos have so much talking and "look at me" at the start that it takes half the video. I usually fast forward to the point of the video. I even mute it. If I see something I need to review I rewind and pause. Which is what I did with the materials she showed. It looks like it gives a deeper deposing than if you just put it on the regular mat
I can't believe all these rude comments. There are hundreds of videos on UA-cam that break down everything she's doing. She's just showing another material and the results . Does this technique work if I want to emboss paper?
She probably figured it out herself, and thought it didn’t need much explanation. Thank you video.

Use pause instead of complaining....
Actually, I agree. Why not talk??
My thoughts exactly. Why make an instructional video of you aren’t going to speak?
Complaining? No, I’m simply commenting. Perhaps whoever made this video would benefit from some constructive comments and help them make better videos to gain followers in the future.

I have 36g aluminum -- will that work?
LOVELY DEAR. TECH ....GREATER THAN MANUAL.....
I need the name of the aluminum metallic cuz I can’t find it on Amazon and noooobody knows the name 🙄!!! Please I need help with!! Btw I love the video !! 👏🏽
I wish you told us what tool you used to do this? I figured everything else out but that.
Looked like the scoring stylus.
Do you need the debossing mat? What does it do that the reg cricut mat does not do> Beautiful!
What is sheet name where to but what is thickness of sheets
All of your questions can be answered by watching closing, using pause and taking notes.
What is v position and h position and why does it need to be 0?
It's very pretty but don't know what setting you used. You should talk
Patricia Drainville at 3:58 it shows the settings : )
What if she speaks Russian? What good would that do you? ; )
He changes it to score
Can this machine cut out the embossing
Wow. So cool
Talkies have been around since the 1920s.

Nice!
There was nothing hard to understand here 🤷♀️ she didn’t need to talk, it literally explains itself
This is silanc video
worse tutorial ever. If someone is new to cricut crafts they would have no idea how to benefit from this. no links as to where to get products, no talking, no answering anyones questions
I'm so weary of theses 'no talking' videos. Nearly useless.
This is a rather useless video. Absolutely zero commentary as to what you are doing. Obviously you don't want anyone to know your secret of what materials you use or equipment details.
“Secrets” lol everything is literally shown here I had no trouble at all figuring out what she did
Is this cricut for mimes???🤣
Why aren't you talking?
