The final Journey to the Stairway to Heaven

- Frequently referred to as "Middle Ridge" or "Backside to Stairway," this trail is gaining popularity as the main alternative path to the well-known and debated Haiku Stairs, also known as the "Stairway to Heaven."
The Honolulu City Council voted unanimously to remove the stairs back in 2021. The Friends of Haiku Stairs, a nonprofit organization formed to protect and maintain the stairs, sued Honolulu for violating environmental laws, saying it relied on an “outdated, and legally irrelevant” environmental impact statement from 2019.
Please hike at your own risk. This is not an official trail also make sure to bring plenty of hydration. For many this is a 6-9h roundtrip.

Thanks for including the equipment you used. I just bought the same hiking pole, and electrolytes tablet. I have a good hiking boots that I’ve used in Annapurna circuit in Nepal. I also have double layer socks.
