The ford era of jaguar was peak jag. All the cars of that era were good and your right they wear the milleage so well. I've been running a X type estate auto 2.2d. What a car. Bought it for £800 at auction. Ran it. Sold it for £2000 on 130k miles. Didn't spend a penny on it.
Fantastic price. Lovely car. Just keep it. I suspect you'd regret selling it and then tried to find one in similar condition. That is one of those bargains that needs to be kept to yourself!
Absolutely beautiful car , I got mine in January , really late 2013 , 22,000 miles , 1 owner 5.0lt XK Portfolio , IRR , Blond leather every time you get in it the smell of the leather the sound of the engine starting 😁 breathtaking all day long , what a dream come true ! Well done Ian Callum 👏🏻👍🏻🇬🇧
Fantastic cars. I have had mine since 2017 and use it as my daily. I just love it and can't think of any reason to sell it. Much more reliable than people think, too.
I drive the exact same car colour etc.., it's my daily drive with 192k, runs beautifully just remember regular oil changes. They are fairly bullet-proof although I have changed radiator, coolant hoses and rear suspension arms. But at that high mileage you expect peripheral maintenance on a car anyway. Just looks the business, real head turner. 😊
Brilliant video of a fantastic GT Joe, i have a 4.2 XKR and i love it, completely reliable and brings a smile to my face when i look at it,after all its a Jeeeeeeeeeeg lol.
Fantastic car in lovely condition but perhaps a little bit overpriced on auto trader newer ones less mileage full history and cheaper even same year and lower mileage cheaper keep an eye out hope it sells quickly
These cars light up the tyres easily in the wet - they don’t feel average for a V8. I’d recommend checking boost level as there is probably a leak somewhere. They are sketchy in the wet! Gorgeous car and excellent purchase - £6k is nothing these days.
How much air the supercharger is delivering to the engine. Compare what this car is making vs manufacturer specs. Handy for detecting worn SC, drive belt or leaks from piping
That Jag is most certainly a car to cherish. And for that small amount of money, damn they was a steal. Well done on that one 👍 I’d love a Jag. But family life comes first.
Great. Intros have been raised to a new level since 'Toby the editor' arrived on the scene. Very dramatic. Beautiful car. The only jag I've had was Covid inspired. 😁Keep up the good work, you're becoming one of the most popular motor inspired sites on UA-cam, certainly in my unbiased but rather ancient opinion. All the best,
Hi Joe. Beautiful Car bro. I love that Colour. British Racing Green I think. I Cantrell with the rain. It Sounds Awsome lol. It's very Undercover that can be a Beast when needed. You got a great deal Joe. Well done 😅 🇨🇮🇨🇮🇨🇮🇨🇮🇨🇮
I loved my 5.0 portfolio and still love the classic coupe shape with huge rear haunches. Only thing that lets it down as a car to buy today is the infotainment and integrated heater controls, very difficult to replace with a more modern system. I never got my bluetooth music streaming with the Bovee unit working properly either. Not great to rely on CDs in 2023!
Love the Jag Joe that V8 rumble, and for £6k you stole it. Just need petrol ⛽️ to come back to £1 a litre! Cars Bought For More 5 🌟 service highly recommended 2 deals done and very pleased. Keep the videos coming!
Im thinking of getting a XK convertible soon! I often hear that people find the standard exhaust to be too quiet. And finally in your opinion is the 5.0 litre V8 a better option? Or is the 4.2 good enough as i suspect.
What a great jag Keep it will only go up in value Don’t go down highpeak route That’s his area Your own videos are just as good and interesting Keep doing your own thing 👍

It's a standard XKR rear box bolted straight on to the NA XK. It's slightly smaller than the stock box and as the XKR has an extra box in the middle of the system and the NA does not. Consequently you get that wonderful exhaust note. Did it to mine and it is truly awesome.
I am supposed to be getting a 2007 xk convertible in part exchange on Saturday in triple black on 104k supposed full jaguar history I have offered £7800 for it in px, sill see what happens

Absolutely love these Joe, but I suspect you got a bargain because nobody really wants them. Maintenance costs of a 16 year old £80k car in the midst of a cost of living crisis, £700 road tax, low 20's mpg if you're lucky, petrol expensive, clean air zones & co2-related parking charges being inflicted on us, govt trying to push us all into ev's, reliability concerns, old man image. Difficult to shift because of all of the above, but I'd personally have one in a heartbeat 😄 Just as a 2nd/weekend car to cherish. You need to check the registration number on your Jaguar XK! BD07 VCP is assigned to a Hyundai
Yep I just checked to hyundis getz

I would have one of these tomorrow if not for the £700 a year tax. I loathe giving my hard earned to the government.
There’s early 2006 XK’s which qualify for £390 a year tax but yeah I’d already have a 2009 onwards XK if it wasn’t for the globalist government.
