"More severe weather on the way" this feels like the weekly theme of 2024
Seriously!! If only I had a dollar for every time I've heard this 😅
it’s always a weekly thing here in the coast
Well that's kind of just because right now is peak severe weather season for the areas that get the worst severe weather
It’s just that time of year.
Its peak severe weather season so yeah this is kinda normal lol
Something interesting happened today here in SW Oklahoma.... the sky is this beautiful color of blue, and there's a very large, very bright yellow-glowing orb in the sky!!! I think I've seen this phenomenon before, but it's been awhile. It's actually quite pleasant!
I was legit trying to figure out what the heck you were talking about. Then it hit me...'the sun'...🤣🤣🤣🤦♀️🤦♀️
Well we've seen quite enough 🌞in Florida the last month or so and not near enough 🌧. A little early for weather in the mid/upper 90's. Cool down needed!
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's beautiful blue skies and sunshine (finally)!!
😂@@bizmccauley123
Thanks for out seattle weather back
I prefer your channel over my local news weatherman. You are way more accurate and way more thorough. Thanks!
He’s Faster than my local channels ! He has the tornado warnings First ! It’s Amazing !!
He’s Faster than my local channels ! He has the tornado warnings First ! It’s Amazing !!
Same!
Hate to see the local channels fizzle out but they have already been done for a decade. They have been replaced by an app and a guy on YT. Cuts thru alot of red tape and says alot that important, life saving information moves faster when ppl are left to move it themselves and not reliant on a network.
@@growthefarmup2606 I feel ya, growing up we had the best weatherman(actually meteorologist) Rob Robin. He was a legend. People trusted him, and he was on point.
Just as I was wondering what the weather was gonna be, here comes Ryan Hall with the info. 😁
Same here! I got on UA-cam hoping for a weather update and here Ryan is lol
Yeap, and he's better at accuracy than the local news here in MO.
yess, hes great! stay safe yall !
Yep me too, here in houston and before I could Ck I got an alert. Love the man and my big mouth I know got him 1000 subscribers 😂
Same here, we had storms last night, and although it's only partly cloudy, it has been windy all day. Reminds me of fall when I was a school kid in Indiana.
I subbed after the most recent severe weather outbreak. Y'all were providing more timely updates than any local station - by up to 5 minutes. Which can be a life-and-death difference
I share every live stream as public on my social medias. ❤
Oh yeah, get used to that!! Welcome to the club!!
I appreciate the update, Ryan. As I live in the Panhandle, I'm praying for everyone.
Happy late Mother’s Day, Mrs. Hall and all moms watching. Thank you for always keeping us informed with the upcoming weather.
Same to you
Belated greetings to all our Mom's. Mrs Hall 🌹🍀🌹
Happy belated Mother's Day Mrs Alma. Mrs. Hall and to all you mothers out there. Please be safe... your families 🙏.
@@LynneLovett thank you, friend. Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day. Stay safe, too.
Talked to my cousin in Tallahassee she said several homes in her neighborhood were severely damaged but her home was spared, her and her family are doing fine!
The tornado that dropped near Midway dropped 2 streets over from my dad killing one of his neighbors then took out railroad square. Tallahassee is my hometown and as a kid we ONLY got tornadoes if we got hit by hurricanes. It’s definitely changed now.
whew
@@Wowdude. Don't be rude, believe me everyone does help each other out after storms are gone and it's safe. So if you are not there helping them how can you even ask that question ❓
Florida is crazy rn
In Tallahassee now. Lot of pockets across city without power since Friday morning. Area I'm in has down and busted poles entangled in downed trees. Raining now and tomorrow so looking like Friday minimum power restoration.
Can always count on Ryan and his team. All y'all are appreciated.
Ryan, thanks for being so charitable for all those effected by the weather. Really means a lot to them.
Affected.
My dad works with a group called the Minutemen. They're in Kentucky and Tennessee doing clean up from the last few weeks. He said it's been nonstop for them so thanks for all the help you give I know it goes to people who need it.
Tell your Daddy thank you!!🙏🏻
80mph winds. The emergency alert system went off 3 times. When that thing goes off, I feel like I jump out of my skin!
No!!!!! We had over seven inches of rain for Mother's Day in East Texas. The ground is like soup over here. Please send sunshine. No more rain!!!
i love when you call storms "garden variety storms"
It's horrible, not to mention the mosquitoes
We're still in recovery here in Tallahassee after two E2 funnels touched down. Now we have sandbag stations opening for flooding.
Wow, I'm 70 mi east, been a lot calmer than that.
it just blew through destin so its coming your way fast
Send some south. We're roasting down here!
I'm not sure what category that third tornado was, but boy, that storm escalated quickly! I've been waiting on this update all day 😂
Thanks don Rodriguez
we appreciate you Ryan
Strange weather is right. There was a tornado caught on video close to my neighborhood yesterday in the Valles Caldera National Preserve in New Mexico at approx 11,000 ft elevation! WTH?
May have been a big dust devil. Michael
@marciacunningham5877 Definitely not a dust devil. Was reported by our meteorologist, and they had video confirmation.
Since Missouri was in a sort of two year drought, im happy for all the rain.
But praying for everyone getting too much or not enough 🙏
I'm also in MO and happy for all the rains! I'll add my prayer to yours too ❤🙏
We were in a drought?
@@WindowsEater YES. From Nov 23: "Today, Governor Mike Parson signed Executive Order 23-10, extending Missouri's drought alert until May 1, 2024." You can look up the executive order online for more info.
@@karabean oh dang, I never knew that lol
Yes last year we were hitting over 100 degrees on a daily basis. It rained maybe a handful of time all summer last year. And hardly any snow either.
80mph winds right now in Andalusia already had 5 tornado warnings in Milton, Pensacola, Destin Babbie AL and Florala AL/FL line since 7am. These storms are nuts
Love and respect everything you do Ryan God bless you your family and your team
Tallahassee was hit by three tornados on Friday. One of them was a wedge according to my coworker who saw it. She was about 3-5 football fields away from it.
Another coworker was fortunate to not have any damage in her mobile home park, but one of her neighbors was killed when a tree from the tornado crushed her trailer. The lady’s husband was able to get out of the rubble and is ok now. Hopefully the Y’all Squad can help this grieving gentleman.
I'm so sorry to hear about this. I hope you all heal well and won't experience this ever again. 💕
@@artemis8396 thank you. Another of my coworkers still has no power as the tornadoes hit three colleges in Tallahassee: FSU, FAMU, and TCC. The trailer park was heavily damaged, but the one that belongs to my coworker was one of the few to make it through without a scratch. She’s lucky. Also her cats just had three litters, some of them were under the house. All kittens are ok.
Thank goodness, take a break, my good man. Ryan Hall, yall, is an amazing weather channel. I would say the best, actually.
We are having our first full day of sunshine in weeks. No more rain please.
We had sun today in NH. All my neighbors are outside today, working on their yards, before the rain comes back again! Me too 😀
Too bad we can't switch what weather we're having, because I want more rain. Too much sunshine over here.
@@trilonias …..i wouldn’t want to switch but i’d sure love to share. 😊
Send to Kansas pls
I actually love rain but then again we haven’t had much lately in my area.
Thank you Ryan for always watching out for us!🥰
Hopefully everyone checked the northern lights off their bucket lists!!! We did in Knoxville 💜💜💜
My house, too! Close to the Smokies.
We did didn't we!! They were gorgeous!!
Actually got to see a glimmer with my girlfriend in central Mississippi! Gave me a good idea where imma take her to propose!
So much clouds here. 😢😢😢
@@christibarron6721 We went out too late on my side of town so I couldn't go too far from the city. It was much brighter in other areas. I'm sorry you missed it.
The crazy weather just fits with the rest of the crazy in 2024.
Super early this time! Hope you've been able to get some rest after last week and are feeling better. Thanks again for all your's and your team's hard work and dedication to keeping people informed!!
They've already called for tornado warning in the panhandle. 3 days no electric already.
Shouldn't have switched to FPL. You want power faster? Better get to work so that the trucks can get through, because there is a LOT of debris here..
Getting pea sized hail and very heavy rain in Seabrook TX at 3:13pm CDT.
I'm glad you sound so much better! Stay well and thanks for keeping us informed always!
Glad I cut the grass today. I'm guessing I'll have to hit it again this time next week.
My household is thankful for you and Andy! We live in gilmer county, Georgia and our town took a direct EF-1 tornado hit a few days ago. If it wasn’t for Andy’s callout saying there was some concerning rotation, we never would’ve ran to the shelter, because the tornado warning technically didn’t include us. But we got to the shelter right as everything got pretty bad and thankfully our area was okay except for some power lines and unfortunately some home damage to some. I watched all 12 hours of your stream and I’m incredibly grateful for the work you and your team does!
First year I get seedlings to really take off and I can’t stay out of rain long enough to till my garden.
All I want is for it to stop raining long enough for me to fix my roof and keep it from leaking like a sieve, but it refuses to stop raining. We don't need anymore rain in the central NYS region, we've had more than enough! I really need it to stop frigging raining! I am at my wits end here!
Thanks, Ryan, for the update
Livin in panhandle down here
I'm praying for everyone
Had a tornado touch down across the street from my home just outside Pensacola at 10:10am today.
On Saturday we had two com through about 10 miles north of where I live. Spinks was out and about yesterday covering the damage.
Over a thousand people still without power today down here in the panhandle.
Yes, today was crazy around Houston...lots of green sky today, rain, and a bit of wind along I-10. The intensity was greater on the east side of 99. Glad it has passed. Thank you for serving America with your channel. Blessings!
Thanks for covering this. As someone living in Tallahassee, I just got power back after getting hit with an EF-2 tornado. I really hope our power stays on and no severe storms hit us
it's literally throwing severe storms at us left and right on the Florida panhandle right now
Reporting in from Pensacola FL, it was nasty at about 10:30am Central Time this morning, right now it's super windy and should pick back up around 2 pm Central Time.
Already had a tornado this morning in northwest Florida. Looks like a hurricane 🌀 season like no other.Happy Monday everyone.
It impacted north of Niceville and was a weak one. F0. Not as bad as Friday.. I wouldnt rule out hurricane season, we are overdue to be hit, but try to hold on to your roofs a BIT longer..
Feel like I've seen more wind warned storms this year than ever.
Ryan: "Weather is gonna be cooler and wetter for the most part."
Everyone around me: "This sucks. Where is the sun? Where is the 90+ degree weather? I wanna wear swimsuits, I wanna wear tabk tops, I wanna wear sandals :'(((((((("
Me: **throwing open windows**
I appreciate you talking about this. I was struck by an EF-2 tornado near Tallahassee, and I recently got my power back. My sincere prayer is that we continue to have electricity and avoid any serious storms.
Oh boy. What a mess. Thanks for posting
Blessings to you and everyone...be prepared ❤
Thank you from Oklahoma. ⚘
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 HUGE THANK YOU to you and all the forecasters, chasers and streamers who have been doing their absolute best to keep us all informed and safe, especially during this wild storm season.
All of my friends, family and acquaintances who I've shared your channel with are so incredibly grateful for the coverage and dedication, as well! Your team has undoubtedly saved many lives the past few weeks alone. You've also provided us with some greatly needed peace of mind when bad weather rolls in.
I'm looking forward to applying for a position with your team at some point in the future. It would be an honor to help the cause!!
I watch from Australia where I commented that tornadoes are very rare, only to have a tornado hit in Western Australia the next day. Nature does it own thing, again.
It's really starting to look like we have 2 weather highways in the US now. Before storms would follow the jet stream to the NE. Now storms in the south stay down there and head due East.
Ryan your cough seems better...I was watching you on your live feed during those crazy tornadoes and was hoping you were okay! We love and need you Ryan! God's bless you!
❤️🙏🏻
Ryan thank you for actually covering the deep south in your forecasts. It's nice to see some coverage outside of local weather channels that just don't explain it like you can. Weather Channel only cares about us when it's peak hurricane season. Sincerely, south MS
Thank you. I live in North Central Texas & have a friend who lives in Ringgold Louisiana. She lives next to a lake, so we keep in touch daily.
Thank you Ryan. Stay safe everyone!
Thank you for the job you and your team do it is very much appreciated!!
Getting hammered here in Tallahassee. 70000 out of power the past couple days from tornados and severe storms and now the rain and tornado warnings starts again as everyone starts getting power back.

Western PA is gorgeous today. I am enjoying it before it rains for the 500th time this year.
Ryan, you are my go to for weather reports. You've helped me keep my sanity when I was on the edge of my seat. Told all my family and friends to join. Stay safe and thanks for all you all do!
Ryan Hall please explain how the solar storms affect our weather. Thanks for your awesome coverage.
In TN we haven't had typical storms this year. They've definitely been crazy strong and stressful storms. Also my birthday is at the end of the month and I really want to have a cookout and swim. So I'm praying this stuff calms down.
Thank you, Ryan and team, for everything you all do to keep us informed and safe!
Great for new update again!!!! Thanks, Ryan and crew!!!
Friends on the gulf coast are really battling pounding rain & wind AND there’s a part 2 ton worry about.
Awe, here we go. Everyone ears and eyes open wherever these storms are at. 🙏🙏 for all effected 😢😢. Thank goodness you will have a break and everyone else.
I'm near Pittsburgh, PA and May 31st is notorious for severe weather. Everything from floods, tornadoes and downbursts.
Hailing in San Antonio today at 12pm
I live in South Mississippi. Two tornados came through last night. one only caused damage to tree and stuff but the other tore roofs off of houses and a church along with porches and small buildings being torn up.. A lot of trees down and power outages
I’m in Louisville currently and I just looked up outside this building and there was a rainbow in between bright and cloudy skies.
This spring has been so active :(
Thank you for the update, I'm in Tallahassee and was on the edge of my seat waiting to hear your take on what today's tornado risk was.
Thank-you Ryan you been a busy guy keeping all of us informed and like most of us got family all over the place throughout the united states it helps to know we can warn them or head for cover ourselves .to all who help you thank-you and big shout out as well
I’m in Tallahassee and wondering why there wasn’t a live for the THREE TORNADOES WE HAD. I thought you passed away or something!!! Happy to see you’re still around, but definitely was sad there wasn’t a Hall stream friday
Or maybe the squad was busy after 4 consecutive days covering severe weather outbreaks. Unfortunately they're not going to cover every single tornado.
Thank you for all you do 🙌🏽♥️
All this on and off rain sure make mowing the grass more interesting. lol
I do love this cool 65-70 degree weather .
I took very weird pictures of bright lights last in Michigan. They were white and lit up the sky. It wasn’t lightning.
Maybe the Northern lights because they were further south then usual recently
I live in Goodrich tx and we had went through two floods. The second flood was the worst. I live right in front of long king creek and the water reached my ceiling fans. My house is completely gone and now we are basically homeless. We need help with getting a camper so we can have a temporary home to stay in on a different property that we are going to move to. I have 3 kids and there are so many people who lost their homes in this flood. Please send prayers to those who were effected. Our plan is to find a camper and then rebuild on the new property that's higher ground. We are a family of five so we will be a little cramp for awhile lol. I pray for everyone who has been effected by these storms here lately. Thank you Ryan for all you do for those who need help. Love your channel. ❤
I pray you find a camper trailer you can afford, and everything goes smoothly, and quickly during your build. 🙏
Love ryans lingo...." the blue blob" a weatherman who speaks my language!!! Love how makes it simple for simple folks like me!!! Your my go to guy for weather for sure!
Would love to see a video on how the recent Solar Flare will effect our severe weather these next few months. Thank you Ryan for always keeping us up to date!
Thanks for your info, every body needs a break to gather themselves! I also thank the y'all squad for the help and kindness spread among all of the victims in need!
Thank Y'all for being my favorite weather professionals!
Glad to hear you sounding better and recovering from whatever crud you had.
Thank you Ryan Hall Y'all! Love from Nova Scotia Canada 🇨🇦

Good for us. We need the rain to get out of a drought.
Two unwarned tornados happened in southern MS Monday morning! Why everyone always needs to be weather aware. They were so fast and quick there was no chance for a warning.
Mobile AL here. It’s raining like heck currently (11:47pm) The bay always seems to make any storm act radically. Everyone stay safe!
You’re so fascinating to watch! We have such calm weather in CA this time of the year. Wow, I’m thankful I don’t have to deal with what the south east has.
I live in Saint Louis and the thumbnail reminds me of the Arch lol, thank you Ryan for updating and preparing us for the severe weather. I hope everyone will stay safe 🙏❤️, also BE PREPARED NOT SCARED 🗣️
Ugh 😑 I don’t like being in the brown zone. *sigh* or blue blobs. My yard HAS become a lake. But, I’ll take those over all the things that are much worse. Be safe everyone! 😅
The rain is appreciated and yet unfortunate; first because we need the rain, yet my husband's employment is affected heavily by rhe rain.
No matter, though, F.R.O.G! Fully Rely On God!
The storm we got in north florida last Friday was INSANE . The damage was worse than I've seen from most hurricanes and I've lived in Florida my whole 35 years of life so I've seen my share .
Speaking of hail damage, my son works for a large car dealership. Every car on their lot has hail damage. This happened last year as well. Mt. Vernon, Indiana.
Minnesota has been really dry for the past 4 years.. we really really need a wet year! Despite it being the land of 10,000 lakes, those lakes have shrunk by a foot or 2.
Gosh, I’m Glad I live in Seattle 😖 god bless anyone in the range of these storms ✝️🙏
I cannot believe all the video clips I see on social media of people filming tornados like they are watching a brief shower. Either they are crazy, or the images are AI generated. And also the people driving on highways with funnel clouds in the distance like nothing is happening.
Either ignorant or arrogant
Just moved to the South this is my first tornado season and I’m so thankful for Ryan and the team 🙏🏼
Was waiting for Ryan to chime in on the upcoming weather. Sound like you’re feeling better too. Cheers!
We very much & greatly appreciate you! You are The Best Meteorologist, along with Andy as well. Thanks so much!❤
Can the severe weather please just chill out for a while. I need a break from the tornados and damage and anxiety
Where I live the last couple of days have started out sunny. And then just a random storm comes out of nowhere
Here in the Midwest, been waiting for some dryer weather to plant some seedlings.
Hope it's coming soon cause I'm running out of time!
Thanks for all that you do.
Enjoy the downtime.
In New Braunfels , Tx. Really enjoying all the rain. Ofcourse, our outlook is helped, cus we are not getting tornados. So sorry to the folks that are… 😞
Just got home from college up north. Welcome home!!! Nothing like severe storms as a lovely welcome.
Definitely a wind thing for sure. Covington co Al has power poles and trees down on hwy 29.
