As far as I understand, for Xbox pass game streaming the laptop only needs a stable internet connection and the ability to process 1080p video streams. Both of these are no problem for the Ideapad. However, the laptop does not have mobile 4G/5G/LTE capabilities and if you want those you may want to buy something else. This laptop only has WiFi connection.

It's complicated. This laptop comes in various versions, sometimes without a soldered ram and only one un-soldered DIMM that you can change. Sometimes it comes with a soldered ram + an unsoldered ram slot. I don't know what version you have. Your best bet is to open the laptop and see what you have. Getting 16gb will help but not by a lot. The laptop has only one memory slot , so it can't be dual channel. A laptop with two RAM slots will be noticeably faster.

Dude your ram bottleneck and update your drivers.and apu's are not meant for 1080p gaming they are meant for 720p gaming. Yes you can play some games on 1080p medium settings
Cause 3700u's CPU is more powerful and is drawing more power from the APU, leaving less power for Vega10; 3500u on the other hand is weaker in CPU, therefore leaving more power room to Vega8.

It can run warzone at around 40fps @ 720p in lowest settings. Not sure if that is OK for competitive play, but that's what this laptop is capable of.
