      This is a bit off topic but I just bought the titan 560e performance! I'm wanted to know have you used this gun? And if so what is your opinion on it? I was goinf to get the 440 impact but went bigger... I've been painting for 20 plus year's and just started my own business and I've always used graco gun's. So I'm just hoping this is going to be a good all round gun for year's to come? Kind regards Luke Morris

      Do you feel like the orange tape has a harder time staying on the hand masker? I have that problem.

    I wish this video came out about 6 months ago. I ended up doing this exact thing but after some trial and error. The only thing I would add is that instead of finger pressing down, I had better results with pressing the tape down with my 1” flexible knife. This really made sure the carpet was pulled way down before painting.

    I'm always appreciative of the tips and tricks. I've painted off and on for years but, never as a professional painter but, I retired from AT&T and started a painting business. I'm in my third year and have used other tips you have posted From taping and caulking, to painting cabinets doors and drawers by hanging them with cup hooks, to making a dust pan out of masking paper. Thanks again!

    I've always taken a drywall knife or 5 an 1 to scrape those carpet fibers off the wall before i tape think it gives it a better look.
    When you going to do another tool talk video? I haven't seen any in a little while. Maybe you can give us a review on one of those spray tool guards if you haven't already. Thanks really enjoy the videos.

    What's your method for painting trim when you want to do multiple coats or prime then paint. I have issues with tear away when I let the paint dry, but obviously don't want to mask multiple times. Any tips from the pro?

    Hello, I saw in one of your videos that you use a mini double roller to paint the bars of a railing, where can I find those rollers

    • @SantanaLogic
      @SantanaLogic 3 роки тому

      Sherwin Williams, Lowe’s Home Depot, PPG...Purdy has the good ones but stores have their own brand a lil cheaper. It’s called a “jumbo 4” roller”

I keep confirming this subscription but I never get an email discount code for the 10% off my order. I tried to contact you by email on your website but when you click on the email contact us link it is blank. Wondering if you’re having trouble with your website? can you scrape the carpet stuck to the wall prior to masking or does it leave a bigger mess?

  • @RaphaEl-pn8ue
    @RaphaEl-pn8ue 3 роки тому

    I painted my church last night. The carpet looked like there was a thick film
    Of dust over it. Is that normal or
    Am i overspray has too much? I was scared it
    Was going to come up but it vacuumed right up. Seems like spraying make the clean up process crazy.

      Want to spray though spraying is waaay faster than rolling. Especially spraying something that’s not new construction

    In this application how long should we wait to pull the tape?

    • @FUgemaniaCKisawsUm
      @FUgemaniaCKisawsUm 3 роки тому

      since its not in direct contact with a painted surface pull it once youre done and the paint is dry, in the case of trim or ceiling since it is in direct contact you would want to pull that tape as soon as youre done so as not to pull any paint off the wall that might have bonded to the tape as well
