  • Welcome to Part 2 of the A. Gallo Watercolor Review!
    A. Gallo Watercolor is produced by an Italian artist in Assisi, Italy. A few weeks back I ordered a few half pans of watercolor from A. Gallo and I am so excited to swatch and review it for you. This video will be split up into two parts - one for the brights, and another for the neutrals. I cant wait to hear what you all think about this awesome watercolor brand!

Thank you so much for this! The cost and sporadic availability has slowed me down as has the similarity among colors, but you've given me a clear idea of what I want and how to proceed. Invaluable.

@susana venir: do you mind sharing what you took away from this video? :) did you get a set or some colors from A. Gallo in the end?

@@adriannamarszal - I've missed the restocks thus far but am resolved that on Mar 27 I will seek Notturno, Transparent Cerulean, Midnight Blue, Verdaccio, Payne's Gray, and Arancione. No attempt at a palette there - R. Szmal saves me with single-pigment pans so I get to play around otherwise. What appeals most to you? If the pocket-size quill brushes are in stock, they may jump in my box, too.

@@susanavenir Thanks for your reply! I am sure these are great colors you chose. I would like to purchase Naturale 24, but I wanna wait a few months since my partner is getting a bit impatient with all my purchases regarding this relatively new hobby of mine! I wanna be reasonable and only buy what I will actually use :)

@@adriannamarszal - Always a good approach, if frustrating. If you have a birthday coming up, though... hint, hint.

This is a super well done Review and I love how you did the voiceover (something I find really hard to do). Lots of information and very well articulated. Thank you!

Shipping and handling within the EU are good. Over a certain amount shipping is free and we don't have to pay Customs fees or additional VAT.

Thanks for these in-depth videos. I am waiting for an order and this helps me see what I will get. I don't know if someone already gave you the pigment content for green gold, but Jackson's says it is PY 150, PY 184, and PG 36. It should be in my Naturelle 24 set. Big expensive purchase,, keeping me awake last night. Should I have.....? Yikes. Your videos make me feel slightly better, we will see.

Fantastic Video on all the colours in detail, so helpful. I will definitely consider these as they have no toxins, once my old paints run out. Or it will have to be a birthday gift ! Just out of interest of your lovely review, what colours are nearest to Cadnium Red, Cadnium Blue and Cobalt blue in your opinion. I would rather buy ones non toxic and closest to those colour. Any suggestions as you have the dot chart ? x

What colour in the swatches is closest to cobalt blue? As they don't use cobalt which is the closest comparison?

Very nice. Their full Naturale palette (auto-correct, grr), I will have, at some point in my lifetime , and they will be my “precious”, lol. Thanks much 🌺

What is the bursh you are using to swatch the paints in both part 1 and part 2 please? It seems to carry a lot of paint and not much water.
