Thanks for featuring us guys! We've recently released a lot of great XR experiences that run on the devices you already own too (like your smartphone or MacBook), so many users just need the glasses. 😎 We have more cool things coming in the near future!
That's Meta vs. Apples approach. Meta has been funding oculus for over a decade now, using PCVR for R&D and being very openly transparent about their devices Development road map, and letting buyers enable development mode on Quest right out of the box. Then there's Apple who have been developing for roughly the same amount of time, but being extremely secretive up until a few months before it launched, and that was to gain interest from VR/XR developers at the last second.
My wish for VR is just to watch movies in the most immersive way possible. Not sure if the Quest 3 allows you to upload a 4k movie with the image wrapping your field of view.
-Quest 3 is currently the best use overall. -Vision Pro is technologically the best overall, but lacks content and too expensive. -PSVR2 best gaming set, but would be better if they make a 2.0 wireless version and get PC support
Well kind of but it has its downsides. The Quest 3 does not allow you to raise your hands as you would with the quest 2 because there are no tracking cameras at the top. This is pretty annoying for different games where you have to reach up or social interactions on different VR games
Lol anyone who thinks the Apple Vision pro is the best available headset has no idea what they're talking about. It has 1/3 of the functionality for 7x the price of the quest 3
Great video! Ive been looking into getting "simple" AR glasses that work on the ps5 well and so far no luck. Both the xreal Air and Viture one sound great you didn't include the fact that you the adaptor run off battery aka you need to charge hdmit box for you to use. Aka your time is limited and its no so simple. Where else the quest 3 and apple vision pro dont take hdmi input at all. :( Still great video which helps explain their features.
Bought the Quest 3 after Quest 2 failed after only 16 months. Quest 3 was brand new and couldn’t charge and it died. Contacted meta and they told us they will replace it with a refurbished Quest 3… WHAT!?? Not acceptable. Not impressed. 😡
you know what annoys me, the fact that they have yet to make VR Better, and the games Better in vr to match desktop and they are now going for AR without even Mastering the VR >_>
It's two completely different mediums. AR has more everyday public use practicality, where VR is primarily used for isolation and gaming. Not everyone wants or likes VR, but the same can't be said about the smartphone replacement that AR will be.
@smittyvanjagermanjenson182 obviously but had they waited a few weeks for what Xreal has globally advertised as the Apple Vision Pro killer, maybe this post could have been considered informational, comprehensive and relevant for years as opposed to obsolete in a few weeks.
Tried the Vision Pro. Bought the Quest 3.
Definitely the best decision you've ever made plus it doesn't cost you an arm a leg and both your kidneys
The real mvp right here 🙌 👏
Gets it. Apple is tech but not fun tech.
Which are worther as PC and PS5 owner PS VR2 or Meta Quest 3? 😊😮
If you are a gamer then the Visions Pro is useless

Quest 2 is literally the PS2 of the VR world. It sold the most in history and it gets the job done with great games.
What games does it have?
@knuclear200x so many decent shooters, rhythm games, zombie games, puzzle games, creative apps, social apps, exercise apps. It's a solid console.
@@smittyvanjagermanjenson182 what are the names?
Playing black ops zombies on the quest 2 has been super fun!
@@knuclear200x just look it up
Great video! Love my Viture, definitely my-go-to gaming device! And now with Spacewalker MacBook, for productivity as well!
this guy is very excited about vr ar, love to see it, more power to u my dude!!
So are we 😎
Shows how much insights there is to this. There are at least 15 to 16 models of AR glasses
And more being made daily
love my Quest 3
The problem with the vision pro is that its a fantastic media with not much else to do. Quest 3 is stacked with different things you can do with it.

Used Quest 3 to watch Dredd in 3d on an airplane

There are multiple ways to do that with Q3.
it's very much possible to do this with a Quest 3, several apps exist already
@@Nighthunt01 I've looked into them on various youtube channels. Not quite convinced on the quality.

Btw on quest 3 you can read your phone if you need to. They just improved pass through mode. But why would you lol
Excited to have made the list! 😎
What happed to Microsoft Hollow Lens?
Went to gutter.
Went down the shitter yet is still used in enterprise stuff oddly enough
It's a US military contracted AR device.
@@smittyvanjagermanjenson182 yup it's also used for non military applications as well
Btw the two, I’ll take my Quest 3
Whatever happened to hololens?
It's a device under a US military contract now, or it's primarily used in enterprise. It's not really a consumer grade technology
Moved out of the gaming space and into the industrial design space.
Seth Always puts some of the best quality videos out there. Great job dude!
I dont know what any of this means. anchoring?
Vision Pro is it. And wait until VisionOS2 at WWDC! I’ve tried many (not all) of these. Never tried anything like AVP.
A few things about the xreal... the airs support 120fps as well now thanks to a firmware update.
If you use the xreal beam you're limited to 72hz
That makes thing easy, thanks!
this guy gave the ps portal an 8
You just casually massacre any authority he holds real quick 😂
😂
Ah farris bueller haven't heard that name in many years
Have you guys checked out Rayneo X2? It uses a Quest 2 processor and it's really impressive as a normalish glasses looking AR device.
Yup and it's wired and 500 bucks I'll stick with my quest thank ya very much
@@meric12131415 it's.. not wired

Psvr2 really not on the list AT ALL? And viture is?
It's ar and the psvr 2 is not
PSVR2 is a toy for gaming only. Everything else shown has multiple use cases outside of gaming and being physically tied to PS5
PSVR2 has no AR
Viture is getting so much more popular than Psvr now!
Watched the video twice so that poor man can buy a red IH hat 😢 😂 not a joke
From my experience xreal is the best AR in the world
Apple pro the best? Pimax?
You called it a helmet like my mum. Lol

Viture, virture or Victure, decide guys
'The Apple Vision Pro is the most advanced AR headset on the market' *VARJO*: "Am i a joke to you?"
VARJO is an ancient plug cord to pc or not work at all. It is ancient compared to Vision Pro heck even Quest 2
"Our picks" lol they are the only three big options so I'm sure they made the list 😂
THIS CONTENT IS TOO EARLY!! The Xreal Ultra comes out next month and is their (X)real entry in AR. It will make this video completely obsolete
Tech is always going to move forward.

Skipping Pico 4, say enough about the research for making this video…
They don't sell pico headsets in the US. Also pico isn't even on the map according to steam charts. It must be a fairly mid device.
Yeah Booyy!
psvr 2
Solid VR headset, but not AR which is what the video is talking about
yo mama
