Great review of a useful tool. Some cool capabilities. And reasonably priced. The voice I'd turn off. But that's just me. Beep when charging is done, all I need. Happy flying everyone. 🤓
So if you delete some of the .wav files, but what the charger to announce other features, that will work? Can you replace the button click file to something funny or something?
The 3a 20w discharge is limit on what can be internally turned into heat and dissipated. The 20a 600w is if you are using a suitable battery as input that has the capacity to absorb 20a/600w, then the output battery can be discharged into that pack. This is the most important feature for me because my current hobby charger can only discharge 10w. I have simulated this “recycling” concept with my charger by connecting a string of 4s within my 13s pack (because my charger minimum input is 12v) to discharge that group for testing or balancing and use some old lead acid as the output, then i can discharge at 6a. But this is not good when there is only 1s of 13s you want to discharge. The other reason for needed this 1s 20a discharge capability is for testing cells in order online for voltage sag at a reasonable load to see if they are even close to being legit.
Если я правильно понял, функционально она от модели 8s отличается только мощностью да голосовыми фичами? Принципиально каких то новых функций не появилось?
@@AlbertKimTV Sorry. If I understand correctly, it differs from the 8s model only in more power, voice prompts and a swivel screen. Otherwise, there are no functional changes?
That can handle the average charge rate of a 1,000 mah battery. Most batts are sub watt charged. Like a 800mah gets charged at 0.8...it can still charge batts that are higher than 1000mah but it will just charge for more than an hour rather than an hour.

Pretty impressive charger, Albert! 😃
Fantastic review!!!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thanks, you too!

Thanks for sharing
Thank. You only one, who pressed start in DC mode. I can see what information displayed in DC mode.
Nice piece of kit. Like the flip up screen. Voice would drive me crazy. Hopefully you can disable that. ;)
Yeah, just turn the volume to zero.

Impressive but does it come with a power supply?
Power supply is not included with this model and most other chargers.
In my case the signal port has come with some sort of cover. How to take that out?
I used a paper clip. Insert it into the hole, put pressure on the side and pull it out.
For a second on spec sheet thought was 600w discharge lol. It's 20w. 600w is using lipo to charge other batteries lol
😎

How much bigger is it than the M6D
Almost the same size. Perhaps a few mm larger.

???

hi
do you have the htrc ht208 ? to compare them ?
thanks
Sorry, I don't
Can it charge without bms cable connection
If "BMS" means the balance lead cable, it can do it under the proper settings but I would not recommend it for battery health.
It doesnt connect to parallel board??
You could but parallel boards are not safe to use.
@@AlbertKimTV Ok gotcha yeah that was another thought I had. Cool I have one purchased and will start messing with it! Thnx for the response bud!
Last question is it able to charge xt30 batteries?? If so whats needed? Cant find info!
1st
Damn you beating me
😂
Isn't 1 Amp max charge low? I forget?

And the slower the charge the safer, so uts not a terrible thing. Will just take a few extra mins is all
Balance charge. Different from regular charge.
@@AlbertKimTV ahh, I didn't think about that. Good catch.
