If the mother are still around, they might try to kil the kitten and try to mate the the mother, but she is gone so I think those scratch is only for hierarchy thing.

So that in the end, I cried harder when I saw that his little brother did survive... this episode was very touching, most of my pets are rescued and it was felt, thanks for the episode

I had to pause and gather my emotions because for some reason this really got me. I absolutely love cats. I have a cat that's actually a rescue. She came from an abusive home where she actually lost her brother to animal cruelty. She's a spoiled brat now but I love her. And that ending is touching. Truly touching.

What a sad story. At least it got a somewhat happy ending for two kittens. One is a badass streetcat now and the other is living with a crazy but loving family. :3
The mom dying was sad enough but when the orange kitten died, I couldn't watch anymore 😢💔
