i progressed from a rookie 2.48 to a d class 2.48 by staying to the back, you can afford to get 4x incident points 2/3 races the third one needs to be a 0 to get a better position
I wish some of these guys I race with in D class at Charlotte would listen to me. I feel you should really spend the first few months not even concentrating on winning. There is no bragging rights winning in D class. I told these guys we all need to work together to keep everyone safe so we can get to C class but it pretty much is like talking to a wall. Nobody listens and it turns into nothing but carnage 😡
Last night I done a good amount of races and I was above 3.00 SR. Currantly I am 3.70 SR but I have not moved up to a C licance. I will do more races tonight but I don't know what is going wrong
Lol I’m new to iracing and for some dumb reason I didn’t think that rookie classes had an SR and now my SR is at 1.56 bc none of the rookies know how to use their mirrors and run into me😂 Now I have to get it back up😭😭😭
What helped me was do not bother qualifying. Start in the back. The further back you are the more chance you have of avoiding an incident. Don't focus on winning. Focus on safety. It's better to go 3 laps down with no incidents than to win the race with a 6x in incident points
Tip #4 don’t try to get promoted supervisor fast, if you do you will get run over. When you get to A class the other drivers can tell by your low rating, and they do not give an inch. Race in d, c, b classes for 3 or 4 months so you can be competitive when you get to a class.
Hey Turbo! Good video but I have a question. What good is it to progress all the way to class A if you get there by never racing? You have learned nothing and will be a slug and danger to those who have real racing experience. What say you?
You should certainly race but try not to put yourself in a compromising spot if your goal is to get a Class A license quickly. Once you achieve the Class A license you can begin to be more aggressive and be more willing to take chances. It's all in how quickly you want to achieve the Class A license.
The best advice I can give you is stay away from others as much as possible to avoid it. Keep an eye through out practice/race who may not be safe to race around.
Had a B class dirt oval as I run a midwest mod in real life I get on to run ump mods at cedar lake which is my real life track and becuase of week 13 it demoted me to D class grrrrrr
WOW there's a lot that goes into it. The practice tip really makes sense. Good driving dude.
Thanks for checking out the video even though I know you'll never set foot in a virtual car lol.

To fast track you need a 4.0 SR.

Good luck get to that A class! I'm sure you dont need it tho.

So many people in the beginning (rookie) that you have to try so hard to avoid. Honestly that’s the hardest part of the game.

What’s the trick to not getting rear ended for 4x twice every race even though your staying in the back

Very useful tips thanks
I hope to see you in Class A soon!

@@TurboDodson i will and thanks
man i usually start at the back but somehow still get rammed
Sometimes crap still happens but typically that strategy is the safer bet.

BOOOOOO
i got my A lic in 46 days but getting it is one thing keeping it is another...
No more fast track promotions. iRacing is pathetic.
That’s a bummer if that’s really the case!
@@TurboDodson it’s not, I got fast tracked to C just yesterday
@@tinzalix8624 GOOD! That would not be cool.
@@TurboDodson I think people are getting confused that it’s 4.0 because it was 3.0 in rookies
Vid doesnt even have tips about racing blindfolded. What a rip.
