This is the single best Live Lab session ever recorded. Great reminder of them at their absolute peak... and that they were a highly under-rated rock and roll band, not content to just play bachelor pad grooves
Such a wonderful, perfect song. They played a mind-boggling extended version of this when I saw them in around 2000 with tons of feedback towards the end.
This whole set-pure brilliance-saw them at the howlin wolf in New Orleans 2001-damn near shook the joint to the ground-sadly this band will never be recognized for their greatness-the best ones rarely are....
I remember taping this truly magical session, some sod nicked it of me years later,so thanks ,thanks ,thanks for putting this up.
This is definitively the best version of John cage bubblegum ever put to tape.
Peel always got the best of bands from his sessions. His shoes will never be filled........
I've only listened to Dots and Loops so far.. Didn't expect a glorious noise rock solo. Just what I want in a band.
I like when music nearly brings me to tears
Eric Frederic eeeeeeee from the first notes D: 😟😳🥺🐛 💜🙅🏻♀️🙆🏿♀️🙅🏻♀️💜

brilliant track. what makes this clip even better is john peel at the start. thanks for posting this, please don't take it down.
I second the above statement ...
You cut off the end! Laetitia's dismissive "yë yë yë" is such an excellent ending.

Personally I got into them around their Jazzy downtempo transition. I Love their entire discog.
