Glad they helped. I'm actually shopping for a 340i right now and I plan on making a ton of videos on that car. I don't get 93 where I live either. And from what I've read, you don't need to do the charge pipe for stage 1 on the B58. The charge pipe upgrade was required on the N55 because one end of the charge pipe was connected to a moving part(engine), and the other was connected to a non moving part(intercooler). This caused some flex and end would crack under high boost. The B58 doesn't have this issue because the intercooler is bolted to the engine. Hello NW Auto. I'm driving a 335i ActiveHybrid 3 with Stage 1 tune, so 400hp. It's doing what you describe in the video, hard upshifting with a noticeable kick. Especially when cold. When the engine warms up, it's much less noticeable. Higher gears aren't distinguishable, but lower gears are. This car was tuned in 2017, according to the previous owner. Does this sound like a tune thing, or something else? I did do both adaptation resets, and it might have helped a little, hard to say. I also cleaned my MAF. There are no codes. Basically first 20 minutes when driving cold, low gear shifts are quite punchy, and when slowing down to an intersection, turning right and applying more gas after braking, it might downshift quite hard and it feels like a kick from behind and it's trying to figure out what I'm doing. Trans fluid was changed and trans serviced like 2 years ago. This happens on all driving modes, sport, etc. Kicking might be the wrong word, it's more like, I can easily feel gear changes. The accelerator is also pretty eager, just by pressing my toe down on it, the car is already ready to fly, so there is no hesitation.
I can't tell for sure what it is. Data logging might help. But for me doing the trans tune helped smooth things out. And I just made sure to let it warm up properly

Yeah you can. But I recommend installing at least an aluminum charge pipe. The stock one is plastic and tends to break with higher boost.
@@NWAuto thanks man you answered hella fast but also should I do a muff delete or is it gonna be to loud??
@@AK-qj6mb I've been around a 335i that had a muffler delete and kept the stock resonated midpipe. It wasn't too loud. You could start with a muffler delete and then buy a performance muffler if it ends up being annoying. Or just do a resonator delete and downpipe.
@@NWAuto thank you so much man keep up the good content appreciated it
@@NWAuto hey man last question can you send the link oh where to get the Ethernet adapter for the iPhone
Power corrupts. Never enough
Thats what Im saying
if stage 2 had more power i’m pretty sure id be in jail
Thats how I feel, but I still wish Bootmod3 had stage 2 plus.
What wheels are those?
Style 763M replica wheels. Got them from Ebay a while ago, but I can't find them anymore.
Pure turbo+keyed crank hub.....
Do you need the crank hub done on N55?
I tried both MHD is better.
What do you like more about MHD?
Show us dragy results for stock/stage1/stage2, "power come up" is a useless statement
I am definitely planning on buying a Dragy and doing that. But that was never the point of this video. In this video I just wanted to explain my experience with the three different tunes.
