The British authorities, was callous in deporting Cashh in the first place, because, he was a child when he came to England. Therefore, he was not responsible for overstaying in England.
Nice to know that Cashh, didn't give up on his dream once he w as deported to Jamaica...he remained focus.

@@davidfbrush I’m fully aware of the Windrush Scandal and many that were stuck in Jamaica and couldn’t return to Britain, I think it was last year an elderly woman finally allowed back in Britain her daughter fought for her return. . My family migrated from Jamaica to Canada when I was a child, my parents made sure our landed immigrant papers were in order followed by our citizenship papers. It’s the responsibility of the sponsoring adults or parents to make sure that’s all that’s done, the child cannot do it on their own. My mother came here as a domestic worker like many others, we followed years later. Lots of ppl I grew up with were deported as adults their paper work was never taken care of.

There has to be a genesis to everything. Jamaican sound system scene was pivotal, however, there were many others involved also in the early development of rap. GrandMaster Flash, to name just one.
Joseph Saddler (born January 1, 1958), popularly known by his stage name Grandmaster Flash, is a Barbadian-American DJ and rapper. He is considered to be one of the pioneers of hip hop DJing, cutting, scratching and mixing. Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007, becoming the first hip hop act to be honored. In 2019 he won the Polar Music Prize.

He have done well for himself and he continues to do so. I know alot of people saying good job. But I don't hear anyone saying they will try to reach out to this young man to see if he need anything. The big artist them in JA should reach out to him as well. This young man have done wonderful. He returned home to JA and doing well for himself. Home office will turn your application down for the smallest reason most things is left to their discretion. To add to this it takes £’s to do all this. Cashh, in the mid 90s, I became the most prominent female selectah within the spectrum of UK Hip hop and Dancehall reggae, a pioneer of strictly underground (at the time) Independent UK Hip Hop on the radio and in clubs (NO US) in the early to mid 90s and was always pushing for UK Rappers to link with Jamaican artists. But when I used to tell the youts from the UK that they needed to go home to their country and stay for a while to re-root themselves in the culture and collaborate with artists (especially those that came to the UK as children that I used to work with and manage like Mr Williamz aka Kool Kat, Tubby 'T' (RIP), Bongo Kanny and Roots Manuva to name a few), because they had a choice they were always reluctant to do so, therefore missing out on the very opportunity that you have had (albeit by force of fate). I am soooOOO happy and elated to see that this vision I had over two decades ago has finally come true in the person of the young CASHH... Represent mi yout!... I am NOT Jamaican born but my spirit has always been deeply rooted in Jamaica through; like yourself, family connections, sound system culture and my affiliation with the streets of West London as a female Hip hop Dancer from the early 80s and 90s. What a journey you have had, it happened for me in Jamaica since 2005 and I knew that this is what is supposed to happen to honour those who came before. i have written about this and have included many UK Rappers from then, now will have to contact you and include your part of the UK Hip Hop Story... Queen 'i' 'B' aka PrinCeSs 'B' checkin in and out. Looking forward to seeing and hearing more of the unfolding of this Divinely ordained story. More Love and Life. Ancestors :-))))

Good job Cashh. Glad you’re up and running and can move freely between the UK and Jamaica. I’ll definitely go & check out your music. 🙏🏾Winford’s energy and vibe was off..he keeps pushing this Americanized Jamaica which is false. Nonsense.

What ah breath of fresh air this young man is.
Well known in the UK, but J.A. need to embrace him & his music.
International status for J.A. artists in the UK is historic...even Bob Marley was embraced in UK long before his impact on the world.
Now it is J.A. time to welcome new UK talent which has not always been forthcoming in the past in my humble opinion💯✊🏿🙏🏾

Parent's very careless to leave such a thing unsettled. There many parent's whom have done the same thing. Nice looking young man, spoke well hope he does well in his life. So whom are in this position either the children or parent try sort it out. Because you know that they don't need us, or want us here anymore. They used our parents and grandparents already to build back there country. Lol 😂🤣 must be a culture shock returning back after all these year's. When I went there as a child I almost had a heart attack, the not much light's so much disability people at the airport Kingston begging. It was rough my dad smoking so hard that night 🌃 in November 1982😆😆😆. But Jamaica has come a long way, and building 🏢 lovely apartment's, and home's also. Good interview as alway's Winford.👍🏿😂😂😂🤗🇬🇧🇯🇲
