So our girl Rihanna has come out with more complexion products and I was all the way here for it. I rushed to Sephora the morning of the launch and snagged them to test out.

I feel like if you have natural eye creases then your concealer is gonna crease no matter how much it claims to be crease-less tbh. Can't erase them lol. I think it's stating that for the people who don't naturally have creases that it won't do that for them. You look gorgeous and the concealer looks great on you imo!
Thanks love. I have to disagree with you on your statement. I have products in my stash right now that don’t crease right out the gate like this product did. Companies really shouldn’t claim a product is creaseless or whatever if it will only work for people who don’t have those issues anyway. I would have rather her just say it covers dark circles and lasts all day. That’s something that should work on all people no matter their skin

The one thing i love about new makeup releases is finding new beauties to follow. I think this is the review I didn’t think i needed till i found it. I’m convinced now that I don’t need the fenti concealer or the powder I already was not trying to buy it. Shape tape is very drying for my under eyes, and even tho the fenti one is supposed to be a little bit more hydrating, I have creases under the eyes. So i don’t think it’ll be flattering for me. 🙌🏻

(Also, what is you skin type? That might have something to do with how the concealer and powder settled on your skin)
Love this video! I watched your initial Fenty video where you wore shade 390. The difference between that and the 330 is amazing. I consider myself your shade twin, so I’m going to go get a sample of the 330 to see how that works. Every other shade has been way too Orange on me.

BIRTH PLACE I think we all have a tendency to get darker foundations. I got my perfect match today, one of the new shades 255. It’s literally a shade and a half lighter than 310 with strong yellow/golden olive undertones. No orange tone.
I just got a sample of the foundation, I'm loving it so far. I didn't think it would work for me but I think my skin is changing to normal skin rather than super dry lol.
Foundation twins! I’m 330 also lol. I use the hazelnut powder to set and it looks good.
Getting samples of the foundation colors was definitely a good idea. I always think I have the right color match but then I forget to factor in what it might look like when it oxidizes hence the reason why color matching is stressful.

I think you applied too much concealer. Their videos say to use sparingly because a little goes along way. Same with the powder. Also, because you are in the lower 300s, your shade in the powder is Honey. Try those changes and let us know.

Esther Ward I’m no expert. According to the Fenty Beauty website 370 is a warm neutral undertone. They suggest the Hazelnut powder for all over the face. What I’ve noticed from UA-camrs and post on the Fenty site is people using honey to set the eye area and Hazelnut as a full face powder if they were 350 and above.

I’m 330 too! I got samples of 345 the other day. I think that would be my summer shade. I got the concealer in 340.

Yes ma'am. I have never put this much effort into finding a shade match. Make sure you take advantage of all three samples Sephora allows. Get two other colors you think may work too.

That’s the exact same thing that happened to me with the concealer! Made my eyes look so old. I’m returning my fenty concealer. I tried.

Maybe you could use some primer underneath the foundation to prevent the cracking as well as a light eye cream

No problem girl. I’d definitely recommend getting some samples if you’re still looking for your shade. I jus feel like they should have done a better job in assisting us with finding the right shade. And made a product that doesn’t oxidize.

I think that your under eye area did not look good because you’re supposed to use a very small amount of it.
I’m 30 and starting to have problems with creasing under my eyes and I found out it works to pack my under eyes with moisturizer before I start my makeup. I keep on adding thin layers of moisturizer until my skin sucks it all and a few minutes later I add my makeup normally. It works wonders. 🙂
Mariana Villanova Omg I’m 29 and starting to see small lines and slight darkness. I’ve never used an eye cream before now. I’m trying one from Clinique now but I’m not sure it’s doing anything. Which ones have you tried?
I use the Moisturizing Factors from “The Ordinary”.
It’s not an eye cream but it does moisturize my under eye area pretty well and makes the fine lines to look better.
You should try the products with another powder.

I will have to try using sample before I commit because I have a hard time finding a shade for my skin.
Honestly I can see you where you’re coming from. I’m tried literally every brand of foundation and they never completely matched me. Either they’re too ashy, pink tone, etc. So when I finally found my shade in Fenty, I couldn’t stop looking at my skin. 🙈
330 & maybe 345 for summer. Looks great.
Riri is 3 different shades as well. Priscilla says she wears 330 370 & I believe 320. I think I'm 385, none of the ones they matched me with worked

310 matches your face perfectly the undertone is better but 345 match your body .330 do not match you as well as you think it’s to yellow on you but if you think it looks go girl
so glad you did this! sephora matched me 370 and im just.. ehh, based off description, doesn’t match my undertone but seemed to work but their lighting is poo. have you tried that one? since fenty has been out, i’ve always thought that 330 might work but idk.. i will still try that one.
A lot of people had issues with the powder. They used their own holy grail like Laura mercier and it worked out better for them

Great video :) You might want to try putting the concealer on BEFORE the foundation. You mentioned that the spreadablility was hindered because the foundation had already dried down. Perhaps if you apply the concealer first, you can avoid that problem. Just a thought since you said that you were going to try to work with it. I hope it works because I am your skin twin...same shade and also my skin is on the drier side as you said yours is.

The struggle is real. I first got matched as 350 but whenever i wear it I’m super orange. Then i did 330 and it seemed perfect but i forgot it oxidizes and it’s too dark 😩if i go back and can’t find a match I’m giving up lol. Great video i love it🥰
I feel your pain girl. I was the same way. I gave her 1 last try and she lucky I found a match. definitely get as many samples of shades as you can and then try them out in the natural lighting after letting them sit for a while
Have u tried the concealer with a different setting powder yet? Idk if it’s the concealer or powder but one of them is making my under eye look terrible

When it first launched I tried 370 and looked like a straight up orange. So I went back and just like you it was 330. Looks really yellow at first, but ends up oxidizing to the perfect match.
The struggle. I’m just glad we finally found it after all this time. I really just wish the foundations didn’t oxidize. The selection process would be so much easier.
Idk if this may help but I use my regular setting powder for under my eye & use the setting powder to set my face... I don’t think it works good for under eye setting!! If u look at other subbies they say the same as well!! But you look natural & beautiful!!
Good suggestion. Im going to try it with my own setting powder too. I feel like the concealer is probably bomb with other setting powders. It's just the fenty powder that it doesn't work the best with under the eyes which sucks. I'll probably just use the setting powder for all over my face.
I really thought I was tripping I tried everything and other setting powders! It just starts off well, but not long after it creases and makes me look like I have crocodile eyes! Lol! I had to literally redo my whole makeup! Thanks for your honest review, because it’s Rihana’s we really want it to work, but for some of us it just doesn’t!! It’s not the powder only, it’s the concealer, it will do it even if you don’t set it!😞 unfortunately I have to take it all back!!
Kitty J Are you using a sponge or a brush with the powder to set the rest of your face? I also had to use a different powder under my eye but it’s also just not working all over my face either. It’s soooo beautiful tho and smells great and I really don’t want to have to return it. 😩
Brittnee Savage ...I use a brush to set my face.. I use a sponge for my undereye.. I don’t put a whole lot either.. just enough where my face feels like it has consumed the powder... too much is no good..

Brandi I've been using this concealer since Friday and I'm struggling with it! I thought it was just me because everyone else is praising it, but ... no, it looks absolutely awful on me and ages me like ten years. I'm going to do a full review on it but ... yeah, not good.
I felt the same way about the products I really wanted to like them but the concealer and powder made my under eyes look as if I was 95 lol...
Yeah the powder didn’t work under my eyes either. So I just use my Laura Mercier or Sasha Buttercup to set the concealer. I use the Fenty powder on the rest of my face. I think the powder just sucks up all the oil.

I had the same outcome with the concealer and powder. So disappointed 😔 but love the foundation. I’ve tried so many different ways to apply the concealer even using different moisturizers to no moisturizer at all and still the same thing. I’ve tried my best to love this concealer but something is wrong with the formula because it definitely creases.

During the 1st launch I picked up the foundation shade of 330 but I honestly think I'm 1 of the new shades in 345!

I didn't get the concealer because the Sephora that I went to didn't have 345 or 350. So today I wore the powder with my two face concealer. And girl it's a winner! So I think it's the concealer and not the powder. Try that combo and see if it works for you.
Oh the 330 shade in the concealer was too light for my taste. I got the powder in Honey.

I’m wearing the foundation concealer and powder over Laura Mercier hydrating primer.... and there’s no creasing. I’ve had it on for 7 hours so far and it’s going strong. Sorry yours creased.

I tried the new 385 shade but it was a little too dark for me right now. 330 seemed to be the closest of them I’ve tried. So for now I’m done looking. This has been such an ordeal 😩

You’re not the first to say that about the concealer and powder under the eyes. Nonetheless makeup came out really nice.
Fyi.. the powders are also designed by numbers. You needed "tan" powders like Honey or Cashew

I've worn 330 for the past year and it is SUPER yellow not Orange. Now that my skin color hasnt gone back to normal after a major sunburn 8 months ago...It's safe to say that I need a new shade 😭😭.

That’s how it was for me when I first got the foundation. It was around summer and normally my skin leans toward red undertones so the orange and yellow undertones weren’t working. Now that I’m my true color the yellow undertone shade worked much better. It’s sucks that we have to always find a winter and summer shade. 😩

Yes and I discovered quickly that was not my shade girl. Lol. Yes I agree. The concealer shades they made to compliment the foundations are a bit to dark for my liking too. I think they are meant for more of a natural look and not the bright highlighting I like for my undereye concealers to have.
I think that you might be a 370 in the Fenty brand

I have a yellow/golden undertone so that’s why this shade works better for me.
@@georgia1988peach yeah but that one was to yellow it looked like you had on a mask, it created a yellow ring around your face, there are other yellow undertones colors to pick from, you are a lovely lady and that washed out your face and looked un-natural....
