So would you say you are a 390?
the foundation is drying for me in the winter so I mix it with a drop of oil so it isn't so drying. I can't wait to try the concealer.

I have combination skin also and by the time I set it I didn’t even realize it was dewy?? and I set with huda so maybe it’s a difference with the banana powder, overall I like it but I’m definitely gonna get a lighter shade

Fenty beauty seems to never let me down
The powder isn’t meant to be used for baking, you’re supposed to use it lightly which is probably why some of you are looking crazy. Less is more.

I love the concealer and powder! My skin is dry and it literally works like a dream. The only thing I had to do differently than you is not bake with it under eye because it's too matte. I think your face came out beautifully and the bob is perfect for this look!

Hope honestly I don't recommend baking for dry skin. I typically use a big powder brush and lightly dust powder on my face. If I bake or overdo it on powder it will age me.
Shayla... girl... you came FULL STEPPING in this video. The completed look has me by the jugular. I’ve been binging your channel for the last couple of weeks, and I have been playing myself missing out on your videos! Never again.
I think incorporating wear tests in your reviews will be extremely useful for us. Let us know how it wore throughout the day/sweating/eating/shopping etc or wearing it for a couple days & sharing your experience also really helps. Sometimes reviews like this don’t really help with decision making. Hope this helps 💛
I love that you’re so honest and not like everyone else and just because it’s Fenty saying it’s amazing and making all these over exaggerated reactions. Like yes, she has some great products...but they are not for everyone. Every product doesn’t work for every skin type. I appreciate you’re honesty and that why I will always be a true supporter. It’s actually slightly lighter than 400 and the undertone would definitely be a better fit for you :) I only know this because I normally buy the same shades as you. Hahaaha
I usually wear the same color as you. I got 385 foundation and 360 concealer. I have banana for under the eyes and Honey for all over setting powder and I love it! I have oily skin and I naturally have to blot throughout the day... my norm. Great job Shayla!

Yes ma’am!! I’ve been waiting for your review before I bought the concealer and powder. I just got back from Sephora and after swatching some stuff, I think you should try Honey for baking under the eye. It looks darker in the container than it actually is. Just a darker toned version of Banana.
I have combo skin and so far I really like this concealer & powder!!!! Def not completely matte but it makes ur skin look so good and not powdery! Def worth a try for all skin types 👍🏼👍🏼 she nailed this
I am Normal leaning dry and I cannot do the foundation but her shade range is impeccable! For a consumer line to come straight out w many undertones is amazing and still adding new ones! I love Black owned and I am not sure if Rihanna owns more than the name in itself BUT the campaign got me...the representation of Muslim WOC got me! xx

Beautiful Shayla❣️... I love love love the concealer, I just have to be careful with the setting powder... If I bake for too long meaning 3-5 minutes, the powder goes straight into my pores. I just grab a setting brush from real techniques and brush the powder up and my pores disappear. Thank you for this review❤️
There’s a shade called honey that’s darker than banana and looks like a warm dark yellow. I think it would make a beautiful under eye setting powder for those in the late 300s and darker.
I was wondering if you had on too much of the powder, because other influencers were saying a lot went a long way...same for the concealers. either way, you always make it work and looked fab! 💕

I agree with someone else who said that you seemed bias. It’s weird how you always always have great things to say about KKW or Kylie Cosmetics but even your first review with Fenty you seemed dull about it. I mean maybe you personally just don’t like it but idk.

Yes please do a review on the Milani concealer...maybe a 1 brand tutorial and review. Foundation, primer, concealer, eyeshadow, and brows. They also have nice highlighters and new bronzers.

How do you feel your under looks with the powder? I felt the powder with this concealer was making my under look extremely dry and enhanced my fine lines. The concealer for me was on the thicker side but creamy and doesnt fully dry down. Also it creates a lot! I used the powder with a different concealer and LOVED it. I also used a damp sponge to press the powder into my skin. I also like it a lot for an all over face setting powder. The concealer is really nice for an eyeshadow base. Overall I like the powder a lot and could do without the concealer, but since I have it I will keep using it. I like 390 for concealing.
I had this exact same problem. the concealer and powder looked horrible together on my under eyes - it creased like crazy and then the powder made my under eyes sooo crispy. But I tried the banana powder with my too faced concealer and it was beautiful and I used honey powder to set my foundation and it looked lovely. the powder is a yes but the concealer is a no.
It did my under eye the same way it made me look older and set into my fine lines
Glad for this comment thread cuz my under eye has natural creases and I really have to finesse to make it look smooth :(

Hmmm I’m so confused lol so many UA-camrs have said this new concealer is matte and you’re saying it’s dewy lol and it did look dewy on you. That’s so weird!
Yea I felt like it was matte too. I have to use eye cream before using it.
It's creamy and I like how it goes on and i'm a oily girl. But when blended out & set its a beautiful natural finish.
Why good watch multiple reviews. Not everyone is going to have same out come. We all have different skin. I agree most of lady's I watch face look more matt.
It would make sense the concealer is matte because the foundation is matte.

LashLovesBeauty that was the worst concealer I’ve tried in the last 6 months. I had to return mine. I could not get it to work for nothing. That’s just my experience.
See I don’t get why other people don’t realize that fenty doesn’t work for everyone, doesn’t mean it isn’t great. No product is amazing for everyone.

Ashleymarin16 it’s not a powder meant to be used as a baking powder I think. Like Ri is very simple & likes makeup that’s more skin like so that may be the reason. 🤷🏽♀️
Mmm I love me some riri but I don’t think the concealer is for me. I’m an oily girl so I have to use matte everything otherwise I turn into an oil slick. Not cute! Marj H I’m oily too and I actually find the concealer stays put, I even put on my forehead and didn’t slide off hours later, it actually surprised me. I did powder and set with cover fx matte mist

Wow! I'm actually shocked Shay reviewed fenty beauty, because I've always been meaning to ask why she hardly ever review any FENTY product seeing they cater to POC and are very diverse compared to most brands. I don't know her reasons but I guess she's not really a fan of fenty products. Either way, it's her channel so she can do what ever she wants. I've just always wondered, that's all. 🤷🏾♀️

You don't seem to have any black friends, and I never see you with or collab with any other black UA-camrs. It's starting to come across that you don't think black women, brands etc. are "good" enough for the MakeupShayla empire. In this climate, I don't see how you aren't using your platform to raise awareness and visibility of diversity and inclusion, esp of black woman.
