On June 27th, 1976, an Air France flight from Paris to Tel Aviv was highjacked by terrorists and brought to Uganda. The Israeli and Jewish passengers on board were held hostage for days. In one of the most daring rescue missions in history, Israel dispatched IDF special forces from 4,000 kilometers away - and on July 4th, brought them home.
