The Shirelles were one of the earliest and most memorable girl groups from the late Fifties and early Sixties. John Lennon proclaimed The Shirelles as his favorite group in the early days of Beatlemania.
With their innocent, unblemished vocal style, The Shirelles project a "girl next door" image, and their songs about young love and its travails appeal to all generations of fans. Moreover, The Shirelles' material and production are uniformly excellent, and transcend the glory years of the early Sixties.

The 50th Anniversary Tour will recognize audience members celebrating a 50 year anniversary or birthday. The Shirelles will invite them up on stage too!
The Shirelles love to involve the audience especially with their tribute to our armed forces in "Soldier Boy".
There are 3 lead "Shirelles" vocalists on stage including Beverly Lee, plus their 5 piece band. They sound even better with your local 4 pc horn section!
Beverly Lee is one of two living original Shirelles and is the caretaker of the trademark and name.
