Great video as usual, thank you guys
You’re welcome, Elias. Stay tuned!
I love watching your videos! Very helpful. I am curious about a comparison between a Jade 38 and a Tempest 40. Honestly I think I like the Jade's zip pocket access to the main compartment better than the top load and the bottom access of the Osprey. I also think the suspended back panel on the Jade may do a better job in cool airflow, than the Osprey's. Also, did I miss it, or does the Osprey not have the torso adjustment that the Jade does? (they put the external hydration pack there instead, right?) Thoughts?
Hello Lisa Blue, Loading capabilities are a personal preference so go with what you think will be the best configuration. Trampoline style backs do provide more breathability on a whole compared to channel backs. The Osprey does have an adjustable harness length called the Biostrectch which can be seen in this users manual from Osprey. Thanks for checking in. www.osprey.com/download/196
@@Enwild thank you so much for answering! You have been a huge help!
Can you tell what is the size of the U-Zip on the 38 and on the 53 (Suppose I want to insert a camera cube divider their)?
I’m currently looking at this back just for the same reason; camera cube. Have you tried the pack with a cube (as it is one year since you posted)?
Great video! Thanks
Glad you liked it!
Would this be a good option for a 9 years old girl that's growing up FAST!, we want to get her something that would last a couple of years luckily.
Hello Rogelio thanks for the comment, our best advice would be to measure her torso and go from there. Check out some helpful links here. trailsense.enwild.com/category/backpacking-camping/backpacks/
What about carrying a sleeping bag and tent? Can I attach a tent to the outside?
Hi Kim! In general, we'd recommend packing a tent inside the backpack, to protect it from impact that could damage the poles, or abrasions that could damage the tent body. If that is not possible, one can secure the tent underneath the lid, which would still provide some protection.
Hi Enwild team :-) Just thought I'd throw out a suggestion to maybe pop the measurements in the video descriptions if that's ok? Especially for the 35-45L packs, so that people can more easily see if it works for any carry on requirements they may have - I'm finding myself flicking between the videos & your website, & it's not quite as user friendly on a mobile ❤️ Still very much appreciate what you do, just thought I'd throw out a suggestion 🌈
Thanks for asking! The video team is constantly working to produce new content, so subscribe to stay updated on all the new videos!
@@Enwild Huh? That response isn't really related to my comment? But thanks all the same for responding 🌈
Whoops- sorry for the confusion! We've passed along your suggestions and appreciate the feedback! Often, packs come in different sizes, all of which have different dimensions. This pack measures 23" x 12.25" x 11" for the Extra Small/Small and 24" x 12.25" x 11" for the Small/Medium. Carry-on requirements and restrictions vary by airline and flight, so we'd recommend checking with a specific airline before choosing a carry-on bag. Safe travels!
Where can I strap the sleeping mat/pad? The bottom doesn’t seem to have straps or clips to secure the foam pad
That is correct- the Jade 38 does not have the straps on the bottom, but there are some webbing loops that could be used to attach gear with a lash of your own, or sometimes people will affix an item on top of the pack body and secure it with the lid!
is this the mayan teal color?
It is!
