well you won't be disappointed I have the 1009 sk mine works very well platter weighs in about close to 6 ilbs just a few minor adjustments this has not failed yet I had about close to 2years i hope you get yours and enjoy it
Help! My 1019 has slow sleep and I have lubed it. It all looks great and all works except the speed. I already tried to adjust the spindle height but I can’t anymore or else it hits the platter. Please help.
there is a screw for fixing the drop.. either the one next to a gimbal or under the plate. super easy to fix. also, your steuerpimper is wonky, replace it
Nope. Just looks that way. You’re seeing either the stylus itself or some kind of reflection. I use a stylus brush before each play and another brush on the record before each play.
On 33 :Balance the counterweight first, then the tracking weight should be similar to anti skating. Mine on 45: all the same except the anti skating is zero.
Lovely looking turntable. I am considering a 1009, for sale locally. Thanks for uploading
Awesome, glad you like it! Duals can definitely need some work but they’re absolutely worth it. I well serviced Dual can last the rest of your life.

You should be able to adjust the drop accuracy for the 45 on the tone arm dial. This works for all speeds.
Thanks! How do I do that?
@@TheVintageNewbie same guy that serviced the turntable. I'd take it back to him, "hey, its not dropping in the right spot".

I have 10 Duals. Not the 1019. Love Dual
That lint on the stylus was killing me...
