My sentiments exactly Alan. For a product you only use a couple of times a year, cost isn't a massive factor for me - I'd rather pay extra to get the job done in one go 👍🏼 Thank you 😊
I usually stick to autowheel for wheels but I do love kochs reactive rust remover for getting surface rust off motorcycle chains, nuts and bolts, and pretty much any surface rust. Great to have different strengths of iron remover available. If I were forced to stick to 2 brands it would for sure be koch and bilt hamber, great range of products. I've been using their protector wax recently and love the instant protection even on rougher paint.

It looks good mark is it better than Bult Hamber Auto Wheel which is a lot cheaper. I also like the GT fall out remover for the wheels because it has so much lubricity and cleaning power.
Better??? Can't answer that as haven't compared the 2 side by side, certainly every bit as good and the fact that this doesn't dry in at all definitely gives it some points over BH. The trigger system is miles ahead of BH too. GT iron oxide is another fantastic product - in fact this is similar in terms of user experience but with the visible reaction of Auto Wheels... Hello Mark, another great video, the Koch Chemie has cleaned the wheel a treat from how it was.the exterior of this Skoda is a bit different and needs a good bath lol.
We use the Koch Chemie Felgenblitz which comes in a heavy 11-litre square drum. I don't know if it's the same product (light pink gel liquid), but it is really thick and potent. It foams up really well when agitated.
Nice one Mark! I'll not comment on any other product, this video wasn't about any other product. This product looks very good, id be happy to try it and ill get some ready for the Autumn full decon, polish and wax. No questions today 😱. All the best buddy, great job as always.
Great demo, Mark. Really informative to watch. I can't help feeling though my approach would have been, on such dirty wheels, to do an apc wash first. That insane reaction was caused by so much dirt still on the wheels after the first rince. A way cheaper apc wash with a brush and mitt would have cleared the surface crud, ready for stubborn iron removal with expensive MWC. That's my way. Nevertheless, still enjoyed watching you put the product through a tough test.
That would normally be my way too Adrian, but the purpose of this series is to test the products as per the instructions and that's exactly what I did. As effective a product as this is, it certainly isn't cost effective to use as a maintenance product, but it's definitely up there with BH Auto Wheels to be used as part of a full decontamination process 👍🏼

Not really, especially if you rinse it off thoroughly and only use it as intended, as in once every 2-3 months to decontaminate the wheels... The reaction you see is the product with the oxidation around the particles that have come off the pads, not actually with the iron/steel itself... So whilst I wouldn't recommend using it every week and leaving it on the discs to dry, using it now & again AND properly rinsing it won't lead to any issues within the normal lifetime of a brake disc 👍🏼👍🏼

@am_9944 I'll be perfectly honest, I haven't tried RRR yet so I can't really advise you either way on it. What I will say is that MWC is marketed as a reactive wheel cleaner - as in it's formulated specifically for use on wheels for removing brake dust as well as iron fallout particles... Whereas RRR is specifically formulated for removing fallout particles on all exterior surfaces. Now I'm not a chemist so I wouldn't being to presume what those differences actually are, or if it is simply a marketing difference of a very similar product... A lot of brands do this - Bilt Hamber have Auto Wheels and Korossol - and from my experience, the wheel-specific product does tend to have more of a foaming action when agitated, so perhaps they do contain more foaming agents/surfactants etc. Sadly though, I can't really give you a definitive answer 👍🏼
@am_9944 as for using in hot/dry climates... It is a factor but I'd say work in the shade and don't allow to dry in for too long - if these products do dry in you can reactivate them with snow foam.. but obviously don't leave them on for hours lol
Thank you Roy... No, being a decontamination product, it's best to use it as it is. These products are specifically formulated and watering them down can seriously affect performance to the point where you aren't actually making them more economical at all, quite the opposite. Products like this and Bilt Hamber's Auto Wheels aren't the cheapest but they only need to be used 2 or 3 times a year so, from my point of view, the cost per usage isn't a huge issue.
Having seen the results it really was a no shit sherlock moment when you placed it on the shelf. I like Koch Chemie stuff and this is another winner.

@@SparkleanAutos thank you for the advise !
omg russian BANED
What???!! 🤷🏻♂️
Was this neat product Mark or do you have to dilute 👏👏👏 another great review
Thank you Roy... No, being a decontamination product, it's best to use it as it is. These products are specifically formulated and watering them down can seriously affect performance to the point where you aren't actually making them more economical at all, quite the opposite.
Products like this and Bilt Hamber's Auto Wheels aren't the cheapest but they only need to be used 2 or 3 times a year so, from my point of view, the cost per usage isn't a huge issue.
