    Healthy Potato Chips made in the Power Air Fryer Oven | Easy Snack Recipes👍👍👍👍
    If you love potato chips like I do, then you'll love this easy and healthy snack recipe for making potato chips in the power air fryer oven. This air fried potato chip recipe is easy and fun to make with only 3 ingredients. You can use other seasonings and flavors as you like.
    First off, I find that making the perfect potato slices for chips requires a mandolin slicer which makes quick work of slicing potatoes, onions, zucchini and many other fruits and vegetables.
    The ingredients needed for making Healthy Potato Chips in a Power Air Fryer Oven are a couple of medium sized potatoes of your choice, salt or any other seasonings or flavors you like to add and some olive oil spray or non-stick spray will work too.
    After washing and cutting the potatoes dry them with paper towels and lay in single layer onto a cooking rack, spray with oil and load into your oven.
    Set your Power Air Fryer Oven to 300°F for 30-35 minutes. Or you can use a conventional oven (Preheat to 350°F cook for about 45 minutes)
    When the healthy air fried potato chips come out of the oven go ahead and add any additional seasoning you like, let them cool for about 5-10 minutes then they are ready to eat. Enjoy!

    Everything I've cooked in this unit has come out great ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB ! Everything tastes so good. Some of the recipes I've changed a little to improve the taste. For instance, for french fries which call for no oil, I spray them with olive oil and season them with salt and pepper. They come out great! It makes the best toast I have ever eaten. The recipe I use calls for lightly buttering both sides of the bread. It calls for cooking at 400 degrees for 5 minutes on one side and then 2 minutes on the other side. This time has a lot to do with the kind of bread you are using...so keep an eye on it. Also, the fans in this Ninja are a lot stronger than other air fryers. So lay a metal spoon or something on the bread to keep it from flying around. It's a little extra work to use your Ninja as a toaster but it is worth it!

    You say this is easy? :) Well, I guess it is EASY, but man...making a little bag's worth of chips seems to take forever! Your recipe (not the video)

    • @YourEverydayJoe
      @YourEverydayJoe  5 років тому

      Thanks ywmpg for your comment. I think making them in the conventional oven using cooling racks and stacking them may increase the quantity. Although temp and time adjustments will need to be considered. Usually I will spend a couple of hours making a batch for myself. Seeing that I do not eat these often I only make them as needed. No storage necessary.👍😁

    Howany potatoes can you do at one time

    • @YourEverydayJoe
      @YourEverydayJoe  2 роки тому +1

      Thanks for the question. I guess it depends on how many grids you have. At the time of this video I was using 5 screens with one used to cover the top layer so they don't fly away in the oven. With 4 screens you can probably do 2 or 3 medium sized potatoes depending on how thick your slices are. I hope this answered your question. Thanks again for posting. 😎

      How long would I cook these potatos if I just wanted "fried" potatoes with sausage?

    • @YourEverydayJoe
      @YourEverydayJoe  5 років тому

      Hi Brenda thanks for your question. Im not sure if you're referring to cutting potato disks and cooking them with sausages in the power air fryer oven but if thats the case then I would cook them for at least 12-15 minutes paying attention to when the sausages are well cooked. If cooking wedges by themselves, i used about 12 minutes at 390. You can see it in my baked fish dinner video here. Https://ua-cam.com/video/Vbxy9RcML9U/v-deo.html

    Why spray the rack take your not aerosol but a spray pump spray it in the palm of your hands and rub it lightly on with both hands and then rub the bottom and the top just spread out your hands this that's got the oil and rub on top and the bottom of the rack that way you're not wasting your I use the extra light tasting olive oil I saved the expensive olive oil for salads

      Hello Pam, hope all is well in Australia. I love hearing from my international viewers. The temperatures I use in my videos are in Fahrenheit I will try to include conversions in future videos. 300 degrees converts to about 148 degrees Celsius. Thanks for the support.😊🙏
