I love that this video featured palettes you already have and love, not new ones you want to buy. Inspires me to pull from my collection. I love the ND bronze palette in summer, hands down. But also the CT pillow talk dreams for a more rosy look.
I never picked up the CT pillow talk or PT Dreams. I love that rosy look, but love getting it from the Patrick Ta and Lisa Eldridge palettes. I have a few quads and 2 Instant Looks in a Palette that I enjoy for those days when I want it simple and glam. I feel like CT always delivers the glam but not over done. I like the ND bronze palette, but I have so many palettes with that color story I decided that I didn't need it in my collection. It is a stunning palette, and perfect for summer.
I wear eyeshadow most days. Im looking for some great blue colors. I think the Colourpop x twilight palette might be close to what i want, i just havent pulled the trigger because i have so much eyeshadow as it is.
I loved the idea of the twilight palette, but I hardly ever wear blue tones. I hope you'll enjoy it if you decide to pick it up.
Great video using new and older eyeshadows! I am trying a single shadow look with pastels for the summer. It’s so easy and fresh looking. Kind of 1960’s vibe.
Ooh, I love pastel garage door look! I might need to do that with some black liquid liner and heavy lashes. So fun and easy for summer!
I need a nude is the best palette I have had for everyday. I have used it even more than the Vega by LE, I already hit pan on several. This summer I will be using the Yucca, love the shimmers but I need to put more effort than with the need a nude. Also bought the praline epice by Viseart, this one is so easy to use
I love the praline epice. It's such a great one for summer. If I wasn't using the new quad from BP, I'd be reaching for the praline epice. I LOVE the ND I Need a Nude. Such a stunning palette. I hope she continues to release more desaturated palettes. It's one of the ones that's the easiest for me to reach for. I like the Vega palette, but had to put it away. I was using it a lot over the past 2 months and I needed to reach for something else from LE.
I need a nude is a go to. I have been playing in the Yucca palette. It didn't get enough love from me. Also her new face palette. Her old face palette. I like a neutral look if I am out. Date night at home is all the shifty shade. Have a wonderful week ❌️ ⭕️
I love a shifty shade look. I hope you're feeling better. I remember how long it took me to feel like myself again after getting sick last winter. I was coughing for weeks after I was better. I had some lingering exhaustion as well as the cough.
I haven't picked up any of the ND face palettes, but I might have to if she comes out with one that really calls to me. I tend to not reach for face palettes as often as single cheek products and eyeshadow palettes. I like picking my options.

@@thelipstickgal I am still coughing. It is hard to get over. ND light face palette has beautiful shadows. They aren't anywhere else. I can do a super quick look. Easy and beautiful. I just consider it a 5 pan palette with perks!🤣❌️⭕️

Well done-again! I'm not really a Shadow gal and have enough given how much I use eye shadow! My faves are the Chanel Ravage and the Lancome Louvre - which is just so beautiful! I have a really fun TF palette- Italian Spritz??and Beauty and the Beast, Wicked and of course ND - I Need a Nude!! Too many! Yes- let's use what we have!!ty!🎉🎉🎉

UGH - I am not watching your videos any more! LOL - just kidding! I always purchase at least 1 of the items you shared! I have a few of these palettes, my favorite is the Patrick, and I have the Sigma Cool coming in. I really want to try the Viseart new palette, Paris ?, so I think I will purchase. I have a few of the Beauty Pie lip products, but I have not tried the eyeshadows. The summer smokey looks really nice; I think I will also grab it. Thank you for always being so detailed - it really helps! Hope you are feeling well and your daughters are enjoying being out of school.
My oldest is finishing finals today, and my youngest graduated from 8th grade last night. We've been looking forward to being together after school gets out!
I really like the Sigma cool neutrals, and the Viseart Paris Reveries. They're so good. I'm trying to not talk about all the same palettes, but I like what I like! The BP one is so good and reminds me of a neutral CT quad. Charlotte's quads tend to be rosy in tone, or very jewel toned (green, blue, ect) I like that the BP has 2 mattes and 2 shimmers and is a slightly warm neutral without being too warm. They have a rosy quad too for summer.

Summertime is too hot and sweaty for a full face of makeup, but I love to wear eyeshadow all year long. I have about 40 palettes (eyeshadow is an enjoyment for me), so I like to focus on a few of them each month, especially ones I’ve been neglecting. Summertime looks are usually light, cool tone, maybe some pastels or shimmer. I love Sydney Grace, Huda Beauty, and Violet Voss’ formulas, but Natasha Denona doesn’t work on my eyes (just blends away). Thank you for sharing your picks with us! Have an awesome day!
I tend to reach for less on the eyes as the weather warms up too. I will sometimes just slap bronzer in the crease and call it a day. : )
I love Sydney Grace, Viseart and Natasha Denona. I only have one Huda palette, and nothing from Violet Voss at the moment. I used to have the HG palette, but it expired. I had to let it go.

This makes me motivated to take out my Em cosmetics as those shadow quads are stellar ♥️ I am not into not palettes at all - the largest one I didn’t declutter is the I Need a Nude. I typically use my singles and Visiart quads. Love them. I am the same with shadow - ALL about the glittery shadows 😂 I am a sucker for shinty things 😂😂😂😂 I have wanted the Major Dimension 2 and passed on it initially, and the new Sigma is calling my name. They may be my next shadow purchases 😊
I love a glittery, shimmery look for the lid, but I need formulas that won't exaggerate my texture. I love the EM and Viseart for that. I also think that Sigma makes a formula that works well on my lids, and I have really be enjoying the Cool Neutrals. My kids have been loving my Viseart quads, and I'm having to check their rooms to find my favorite ones. Isolde, Hesperides, Praline Epice and Lilas Doux have been MIA from my collection. Time to raid the teenagers rooms for my lost makeup!

I enjoy Natasha Denona’s bronze palette, but gravitate more towards her blue/brown palette in the warmer months.
I also have been loving Clionadh and Terra moons iridescent, duochrome, or multichrome shimmers - I use them in the inner part of my lid with a light matte in the crease.
I have some Clionadh stained glass shades that are all clear with a shifty shade in them, but my youngest has kidnapped them. : ) I still haven't tried any of the Terra Moons formulas. I keep meaning to, but always forget. I don't have the ND Bronze palette or the Blue/Brown one. I always think about picking up one of the huge palettes from ND but I'm not sure I'd ever use all the shades. They are lovely though.
Gorgeous palettes!! I have to get dig into my collection to pull out some older palettes. Always stick with the latest purchases..
The LE palettes are gorgeous but without a primer it’s gone in hours sadly..
Yeah, that's what I don't like about the LE shadows. They need primer, and I'm frequently forgetting that step. I love formulas that don't require a primer for longevity. I don't have oily lids, so I can only imagine how they wear on someone with oily lids even with a primer. I love pulling out old favorites. With such a large collection I need to get my money's worth when I pick up higher priced makeup items. (palettes) That's why I love digging through my collection to remind myself what I already have.
I didn't realize eyeshadow was an option... Almost kidding. I always wear an eye makeup look of some kind.
I tend to skip shadow a lot in summer. I'll wear mascara only, or nothing at all on my eyes. I'm always going to have a lip product, but eye makeup is optional for me. (not brows. I need brows or I look nuts!)

Oh wow grunge in Seattle in the 90’s what girl that’s super cool!!!!! Awesome that’s where it came from right?! I’ve just given in to the Bronzer everywhere look 🤣🤣🤣 it’s my colors caramel I never noticed it bringing out gold in my eyes this morning it was pretty cool I got one of the bare minerals dewy balms yesterday they are soooooo hydrating I had dry lips this morning and they are gone of course I got friendship (caramel) I also found a nail polish Essie cold brew coffee 🤣🤣🤣 I’m all set … that mustard shade in the cool neutrals might actually look ok on me I may get it holiday sales is it similar to the Ambiance shades? 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
Ambiance is so much warmer. (so much!) I prefer the "warm" shades in the Cool Neutrals palette to the ones in Ambience. I like the Ambience palette, but LOVE the Cool Neutrals. I also have liked the cooler eyeshadow trend that's been going on for a while. 2015-2019 was all about really warm neutrals and I'm enjoying the pendulum swing in the other direction.
I can't wait to show my kids how to interpret 90s makeup in a modern way. I'm sure they're going to get into that. It reminds me of when my mom showed me how she did her hair in the 60s and 70s. (the flip)

Major dimensions 2 is the only eyeshadow palette that has ever molded on me! It was gross, and so weird because I stored it in the same cool dry place as the rest of my makeup and nothing else molded. I hope it was a weird one-off.
Ooh, that's worrisome. I don't ever have issues with mold in my makeup, but I live in such a dry climate. Thanks for watching

I might go more neutral as a base, or, this year, I’m feeling the pastels, but give me some iridescent sparkle or a softer multi-chrome to top out off with. Once in a while, I’ll do an orange or neon. I’m tempted today, but I have an interview with a teacher-track program. The fun-professional line so hard to walk!
Yes, a fun professional look is hard to do. Years ago when I was working in radio (I did for over 20 years) I wore jeans, t-shirts, and what ever makeup I wanted to work. That was the best part of working in radio. No one ever saw me, and all the radio people were a bit quirky anyway. I would have a much harder time if I was teaching. I had to get a whole new wardrobe the year I taught a college speech class. I also had to dial down my makeup. I didn't feel very much like myself. I missed my cut up t-shirt, worn out jeans and slouchy sweaters. : ) My makeup has really been dialed back as I get older; in my late 20s & early 30s I was wearing all, the makeup all the time, in all the colors!
@@thelipstickgal I’m lucky that I work in a school that allows me artistic freedom, but, this teacher-track thing is new and I feel more self conscious about professionalism. I ended up in a pastel purple, because I need a little something-something when I am nervous-having hooded eyes helps keep things less in-your-face 😅. That’s so cool that you worked in radio and got to be so creative with your makeup. I’m approaching 38, but feel I’m still in that phase. Probably because I missed out on much of my 20s due to health issues, but I also wonder if I’ll outgrow it-we’ll see!
I wear make up/eye shadow year round. My eyes are deep set, and I have a lot of lid and eyebrow real estate - if I don't wear it all over, I will use a shadow to line my eyes or smudge them. I have also reached a point in my life that I wear what ever mood strikes me that day. Love *love* a grunge look too! My fav pallets these days are LE Muse, O/S Wicked- the colors look intimidating yet they can go on so sheer, if I am wanting a minimal look they are great. Also the ND My Dream Palette- got that during the Sephora sale and honestly, no matter the color story, any ND pallet is a good one!
I love the ND quality, but not all color stories call to me. I'm not much of a pink or purple eyeshadow person, and the deep berry shades in My Dream and Retro can be a bit too much contrast for me. I love the desaturated tones in the I Need A Nude. I also love the Glam. Thanks so much for watching today. I'm trying to love what I already have, and reminding myself that the Sydney Grace Christmas in July sale is coming. That's when I get so much shadow, I don't know how to deal with it all!
