Change your mind? Here’s some info. I own three SS pistols. An MR920 War Poet, an XR920P, and a CR920XP. All three of them just hit 1,600 rounds. Six different brands of ammo, four different grains, JHP & FMJ. I have nit had one malfunction of any kind. The CR920XP is proudly and reliably my EDC.
@@BigJohnsonGG I can't be certain but this guy seems like a shill for SS. I see him in literally every video about this gun gaslighting anyone who has reliability problems with it. That or he is just very lucky and super enthusiastic to the point of doubting anyone else could be having a different experience.
I have the Shadow MR920L. It just fit's my hand and balances perfectly. It carry's extremely well. Almost forget it's there. It has ruined every Glock for me. This is what Glock should have evolved into by now. Sadly...they just do a lukewarm re-hash of a Gen4 and charge more. The only downside for me, it get's VERY hot with any extended amount of shooting. Less material...more heat.
3 moves to break it down with no tools . Going out to put first 250 rounds through it in a couple days . Bought 124 grain ammo to make sure it's spicy enough for the break in cycle as recommended.
I have the MR920P is a good shooter so far still getting used to it and the smaller frame prefer a full size but there was a deal couldn't pass it up. Had 5 Jams in first mag after that no other issues so far at about 150 rounds. Good Video as Always.
I’ve got two Shadow Systems guns, MR920 and the regular Cr920, both with black barrels. If I get another one I’d get the TiN barrel, I like the bronze color. I really like the MR and I added their threaded barrel comp on it. Hope you enjoy it.
I’m like you except I have 4XL hands. I had a Glock 43X that I couldn’t shoot to save my life. Someone suggested I try a Glock 48 so I bought that. Same issue. I figured I just wasn’t meant for a slimline. I saw the CR920XP and decided to take a chance on it. I have had nothing but problems with mine. I watched several YT vids mentioning the 200 round break in period of at least 124 grain ammo. I bought 250 rounds and went to the range. Even with the 124’s I could not get through a single mag without failures. Mostly stove pipes and no last round lock back. I commented on Reddit and almost everyone said it must have been my grip. Mind you I’ve never had these issues with any of my other handguns. I bought another 250 rounds of 124 to the range and brought a friend with me. The first few mags for me were stove pipes every other round. I tried shooting one hand strong hand, one hand weak hand. Tried adjusting my grip and still problems. My friend who carries a Glock 19 tried 3 mags and had issues as well. I just ordered some 124+P and if that doesn’t work I’ll contact SS customer service. I really like it and I hope it gets remedied but there’s no way I would consider carrying this as of now.
Don't buy these SS fanboys trying to gaslight you. My CR920XP has the same issues. Failure to feed, failure to lock back, stove pipes. It doesn't matter what ammo and it isn't my frickin grip. I shoot 2x a week with a variety of pistols - nearly 2000 rounds a month. It's the gun. It's bad QA. It is getting better the more rounds I put through it, but it's not something that resolved in the first 200 rounds. I've got nearly 1000 through it at this point and it still has the occasional issue. Meanwhile I've got glocks that have gone 5000 rounds without a single malfunction of any kind. No break in. No ammo preferences. They just run. I love the look, ergonomics, optics mounting system and recoil of the shadow systems guns. I have 3 at this point - an MR920 war poet, an XR920P and the CR920XP. But all three are less reliable than any glock, sig, or canik I've ever shot. Great for the range. Wouldn't trust them as my carry gun.
@@BigJohnsonGG Glad to hear it. I just watched your break-in video. When I saw that first failure to feed I was like "oh no here we go" but then it was the only one. Glad you won the QA lotto. Having to RMA a new toy is never fun.
I have 5 SS models, DR920 P would also be a great gun for you to try. It shoots similar to this model, very flat. When I broke in my 920 XP, I had a lot of stove pipes & failure to feeds using 124 & 147 grain cci and magtech. After 165 rounds, it just started to run flawless. Can’t wait to see your shooting video…
I made this gun and made it better. I believe my setup is the best EDC YOU CAN BUY. CR920 slide, scs carry, g43x frame, pmm comp, katana magwell, antimatter wing, hogue full grip, tlr7 with hp head. The setup weights around 30oz and due to the glock frame it absorbs recoil because the polymer is not glass reinforced. Yes this is the size 9mm should be not the full size guns we have been using designed for 40s&W.
The bronze is nice. I like the cr920p but I would get the others if you can interchange grips and slides. Haven’t found a decent video on interchangeability
@@BigJohnsonGG Don't sleep on the soy boys. They spend their friday nights drawing from concealment from their skinny jeans and drilling that first double action trigger pull from their CZ PCR right between your beady little eyes. You underestimate them and that's how you get dusted by some Kansas City fagg0t. Train those draws boys.
Big J Loved my MR920p until it I had two trigger group failures , first one Shadow Systems took care of me , second one they won’t hear of it , left me high and dry so to speak. So fixed it myself by putting a Glock performance trigger group in it ( nice better than Oem ) . I took your advice and purchased another replacement comp from them , because the original was so Carbon up . Thanks K ps love the gun hope it continues to run .

I might wana grab one of these cause the xr920p is awesome
I have the Mr920 with the radian ramjet. Love it. I'd like to get my hands on this also,as it's legal in communist New York
This gun retired all my EDC’s. It’s the best flat shooting small but still has a full grip. Can’t beat this gun
Thanks for watching, I will be testing it out tomorrow

I agree with you. The bronze looks great!
I’ve been running the mr920p for a while. I’ve shot the crxp. It’s a sweet shooter for such a thin firearm. Great video 🤙
Thanks Brother

Interesting. Will be watching how it shoots for you.
There comps work well , no issues. Best of luck with your experience. K
Really like mine Big J it did take a couple mags to break in. I used Winchester 124 nato to break it in.
Good Deal. 👍🏼
Good day Big J. 👉🏼💨

Anyone know if the Shadow system mags fit into the Glock 48?
I was told that they won’t work.
Cr920 (all version) mags won't work with Glocks they are proprietary to that model. Now the Mr and other bigger series guns should work with glocks
Who only wants 10 rds? 😂
@@BigJohnsonGG that's why I'm keeping my cr920 but I just bought a XP😂 will be here Friday

I hate Glock, but I’m not opposed to a clone. I’m just concerned about warranty issues, should they go under.
