    Thank you for being my teacher of the Russian language. I don't know if it's my computer, but when I see you on the many videos, I don't see your whole head. You look better when you show your whole face and head. It's just an observation.

    Hello and thank you for your channel. I have a question... for the written form of Russian , is there an English form. For Example in Chinese they have pin yin and Arabic they also have an English form so that as an English speaker I can verbalize the words until I have a firm comprehension of the Russian written form

    When asking if someone speaks some language, I've always learned to pronounce the "po" in "po-....." as "pa", since its not the stressed syllabe. That's the first time I see someone pronouncing "pO-ispansky", "pO-angliisky". Wich way is correct? A bol'shoi spasibo za video!

  • @YouNeedToRepentYou

    2:20 this young lady has pronounced Russian word ПО as Po for Poland. I thought it was Pa for Paris.

    • @disdonc6012
      @disdonc6012 4 роки тому

      I just asked about this in another comment. But maybe it's because she is speaking slowly. Then you look at this as two separate words. The word "ПО" has only one syllable, so the stress is on the "o" which is then pronounced as "o". But when you connect two words (especially a short one to a longer one) the words are looked at as one entire word where the stress isn't on the "o" anymore, so the pronunciation changes to "a".

  • @disdonc6012
    @disdonc6012 4 роки тому

    Please tell me, you pronounce the "о" in "по-...." to say the language as an "o". I've heard this pronounced as an "а" because when connecting two words, the stress moves to another place and the two words are looked at as one word. Or is this a regional or just personal thing?

    I am just learning Russian and have a real hard time pronouncing words. When Russian's speak fast, it is hard to understand what they are saying, because it blends together with other words. Ugh! For me, learning the words does help, because I can recognize words that I learned. It is also hard to remember the definition of some words as well, it gets confusing.
