Tom Petty teaching guitar - sweet!
Very cool. But just one thing. The solo was never played fully at the real speed. He played a bit, then showed us slowed down. Then went on to do the rest of that solo slow to show us, but we never really knew how he played it at real speed. Oh well.
Edit. Listening to it again. He did play it at the end full speed, but again it was only the first half of the solo and not the full that he taught. Strange way to teach people, not even showing the full speed.
You have to tell them that the song got all messed up when Aerosmith decided to let Run DMC butcher the song with silly Rap techneek and I purposely spell that wrong because that's what Run DMC did to the song which was a sacred song by Aerosmith before that happened dad gum it.

I thought this lesson was sort of uptight and inexperienced and I don't think he can play the entire first solo at the full speed. truly a waste of time for the beginner.
