I enjoyed this, UA-cam works for you and I look forward to what's coming next. I also enjoyed the change of scenery, as a Viking myself, for some reason I always end up watching British wild camping videos. And although they are great on itself, it is always the same recipe. Walking up a barren hilltop and pitch the tent, often in crappy weather with a few beers, some banter and good fun This woodland adventure was a nice change of pace and something different. Still fun, of course. But also more relaxing, despite the featured rave. Which is a good thing in my book, not the rave, just the relaxing part. :)
Hi tried to link it unsuccessfully. 😂. it's from Toplander Outdoor Store on Aliexpress. And it's the 200cm x 150cm. I use that in the Vern 2 and simply fold it over in the Vern 1. Thanks for watching. 👍
Also available on Amazon UK. Cheapest to purchase from Aliexpress though, if you aren't in a rush. Ground Mat Camping Aluminum Sleeping Foam Mat 200 X 150 cm / 6.56 X 4.9Ft Insulating Thermal Waterproof Mat Foldable Double-sided Tent Pad Ultralight Floor Mat of Aluminum Foil amzn.eu/d/cXdUxVN
I noticed that "Widow Maker", tree at 26:35 in the video. Good camping in the forest but lots of things to consider and be wary of in addition to the predators. Did you forget to add the link for that Ali Express mat?
Good honest video. What were the words on your hat? Couldn't quite make it out other than veterans? Have you noticed any water runoff over the vestibule hoods? I have the Snugpak Softie 10 and find it a great sleeping bag, and think it's rated down to a comfort level between -7°C -12°C. I think it is also the benchmark for the military standard for Norwegian Nordic Training, so might do you well in Canada, depending on what comfort level you want though. The only gripe I have is I think I may have ordered it with the zip on the wrong side, but I have gotten used to it now.
The Yak was happy when he curled it down.😂
Great video, I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to more.
Thanks for watching, much appreciated.

Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it. Next time I will actually drink a beer 🍺 😂 instead of just carrying it.

Great video, can you provide a link to the foil mat on Aliexpress?

Good job on explaining everything, made me laugh on the cooking and eating dinner part
Glad you enjoyed it!
Lovely movie
Thanks for watching.
Enjoyed and subbed.
I know what you mean about walking to and from the camera as a UA-camr.
I left England for Western Australia.
All the best

Forgotten Veterans. It was a charity helping homeless Veterans.
Snugpak makes some good kit.
