Love the comparison, i have the newer one but considering getting the other one as i prefer to see more data and it is also lighter compared to the 170, which is quite heavier in this capacity. Great comparison as always, very insightful! Sharge also has the newer lighter version of the 170, it is shargeek 140 if im not mistaken
Josh, good video, but could you do some real-world capacity testing as well? - I'm concerned about the 13,200 mAh spec on the box (video 1:24 timestamp). Also, Omnicharge 40 was the first with the triangular design of the power bank. Now, Omnicharge is really behind on their supported charging protocols (which I've emailed them about), but I wish Sharge would have kept the programmable DC 5521 output/input port and it seems they could have keep the more info screen as well.

The cable included does quick charge 5, which is amazing! My brother has a redmagic 9 pro and we have been searching for a quick charge 5 capable powerbank for a long time. Will this powerbank supply 65w over quick charge 5?
I have the same phone. You don’t need QC5. Just get a powerbank with a high PPS-Range, like this one. Pay attention to the 5V-21V to 5A. It charges with PPS up to 100W. I have a Anker Prime 250W, with the same PPS-Range and I get up to 90W. But stay away from the Anker 200W for example, cuz it can charge up to 200W with fixed PD, but the PPS-Range is only 3,3V-11V to 3A. So 30W max. If you have further questions feel free to ask. Edit: I misread. I have the new RM 9S Pro, not the older one. But it’s the same situation. Just with 80W.
the 250w anker prime is more powerful, has bluetooth, and higher capacity. so it's definitely more capable than this one. but this one does beat the smaller 200w and 130w versions, as well as the older anker 140w 737 power bank to me. this one is cool, and once my ROG Ally X arrives, I'll be spending a LOT more time with this power bank, and my other powerful power banks, to find the one that I enjoy the most!!
