great trip! i'm a disabled vet in a big wheelchair that can't hike. So i really love your videos that make feel like i am on a hike! thank you for all the enjoyment you bring! all the best
Thank you for all your post. I am making a trip from the UK to tour the parks in Arizona Utah and Nevada. Your posts have me very excited over what I hope to see
Its amazing each movie I see when these two men shows the difference places they visit. Such beautiful places and I learn alot of our states with my boyfriend.
Man.. your videos are so professionally made that it’s impossible not to enjoy them. Very interesting 👍🏻, you and your dad make a great team. Keep those videos coming 👏👏
Thank you and Pop's for sharing with us so often ! I am not currently in a position to support anyone's channel financially, but I can express my gratitude. I am very, very grateful for all you do for us, and for all you share with us. God bless you and yours more and more !
You do a great job. Wonderful that your dad can be with you. Even tho it’s a nice guitar I would prefer with no music. The landscape has a voice of its own. I know, that’s one persons opinion but it’s at least worthy of consideration. Thanks again for bringing this incredible landscape to those of us who can no longer make the trip. We can make it with you any time we feel like it.
Thank you so much. I always look forward to the notifications for your upcoming episodes. I can only wonder about the history of the area & also how many western movies were made there. Again, Thankyou & safe travels from Adelaide, South Australia.
Four wheeling over Elephant Hill is the way to get to the best areas in The Needles. Devil's Kitchen has very cool campsites, #4 is best IMO. Chesler Park is beautiful and the view of the confluence of the Colorado and Green Rivers is awesome. The hike to Druid Arch is over 10 miles round-trip, but definitely worth the effort. Can't wait to get back there again this October.
@@ThroughMyLens Take your time. I’m hoping you guys will do a east coast road trip with Pennsylvania and a few other states in there. That would be great to do in the fall.
I was just in Canyonlands in February, and visited the Needles for the first time. I also got a little lost at Pothole Point, though not for long. I somehow missed the Cave Springs Trail completely, but you guys seem to have missed what I thought was the most impressive day hike, the Slickrock Foot Trail that starts just up the hill from the end of the road. It's 2.4 miles round trip, without much elevation change. Though there are enough little up and downs that my legs, which were still sore from hiking the Landscape Arch and Delicate Arch trails in Arches the day before, were protesting by the end. Anyway, great video! The zoom in my camera isn't nearly as good as yours, so I just got a much better view of the actual Needles than when I was there in person.
Approx 20 years ago we were driving through needles, and I got a hefty ticket for no seatbelt. The cop was hiding behind a pile of rocks and sand. I was mad about it for years.
My daughter and I just drove across the country and stopped at many national parks and enjoyed all of them so much! We may have to go for another cross country trek and visit this park and others we missed. This looks like a really beautiful park!...btw shoe head really does look like a shoe👞!
Very cool especially newspaper rock. Looks like a very under estimated part of the park for now. So how would you rate the mighty 5 favorite to least in your opinion. I understand they each have there own beauty
In the main video that I will put out soon on the trip we recorded our thoughts on which we liked the best but I think it was Arches, Bryce, Zion, Canyonlands and Capitol Reef for me. All of them are so amazing though
Hey Josh, I'm rather new to the channel, and I was wondering if you are going to upload one big video featuring all these videos, as you did with the Route 66 and Alaska videos? Or is it a new format.
It just dawned on me did they name the town of Needles after those needle rocks? Or is this place no where near there. I'm watching a movie simultaneously and am a little distracted.
PLEASE state the town and the state somewhere in the beginning of the video, the title, or the desc. This is maybe the 3rd one in a row ive skipped because i dont wanna google where it is. cheers
Nicely done! Love the trail to Chessler Park, I'd recommend everyone start the trail even if you are only there for a short bit. It's a steep climb out of the canyon but the views at the top are amazing.

Glad you enjoy the videos and thank you for your service to our country!
I watch these videos every winter and dream of getting back out into the mountains when spring comes.

Got the full Utah one coming in a few weeks and just finished Pacific Coast Highway road trip as well (prob a few months for that one though)

Love this!!
Beautiful spots. Great video! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks 👍
Those amazing Indian national lands are breath taking.
Awesome video! I heard that the Elephant Hill Road is so treacherous that it's faster to walk it than drive. Haha!
haha good to know!
I think you have the secret sauce recipe for film production, well done!
Well done gentlemen.

Bummer, we will need to go back and do that hike! Totally missed it
Great job! You video what I can’t walk. Thank you! Have you visited any Indiana state parks? Prayers and Blessings always
Let’s go nice content 👋
Thanks!
What time of year was this filmed? Beautiful and informative video. Thanks for sharing.
Approx 20 years ago we were driving through needles, and I got a hefty ticket for no seatbelt. The cop was hiding behind a pile of rocks and sand. I was mad about it for years.
haha that is a bummer!

So many national parks to explore! Always a good time for another road trip 😀
Excellent! Do you and pops use the Passport Book?

Awesome rocks, definitely looks like a shoe. I love trying to find rocks that look like things in my area. Great video Josh!
Thanks 👍

Yep, I will have one big video of the entire trip but I like to make videos of each national park on their own as well
It just dawned on me did they name the town of Needles after those needle rocks? Or is this place no where near there. I'm watching a movie simultaneously and am a little distracted.
The town of Needles in CA has its own rocks called the needles actually
no bro sures  ; great vid
PLEASE state the town and the state somewhere in the beginning of the video, the title, or the desc. This is maybe the 3rd one in a row ive skipped because i dont wanna google where it is. cheers
Thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks for the tips! I hope to do it next time
😁👌
Did you visit the Black Crack

Definitely looks like a wooden shoe.
