Really nice. Grandview Point is my favorite. The White Rim trail is a fun adventure. Elephant Hill is a must do if you have the right vehicle. And the Maze...shhhhh...don't tell anyone.
Great video again and a big shout out for your itineraries! I bought a bunch of them for our upcoming trip and they have been quite a worthwhile and essential part of our trip planning with great info that saves hours and hours of research, great bang for the buck!
Thanks for watching and thanks for purchasing our itineraries, we appreciate it. We'd love it if you'd leave a review on our website wereintherockies.com/store/ (select a location you purchased, scroll to the bottom of the page where the reviews are). Thanks in advance.
Thanks for a great video. Such an underrated National Park. There is so much to see and do. I only had time to do the Island in the Sky during my roadtrip and loved Upheaval Dome and Aztec Butte. Next time I would love to do the Needles and Chesler Park.
I think it's a great idea. Crowds will be less than summer. You may encounter some snow/ice on the trails so bringing spikes to put on your shoes might be a good idea. Have fun.
IDK if you missed it, but there's structure on top of the second butte. Unfortunately, visitors keep stacking rocks on it, ruining the aesthetic and making it unstable. :-/
Hi there again, thanks for all the information. To drive Needles Drive (highway 211), do you need a 4WD vehicle to take the MAIN roads? I've never been there, and I hear conflicting information regarding whether I could drive it or not. In your video, it looks very driveable for all cars. However, the "Four-wheel drive Roads in the Needles" video on the NPS website states, "All the Needles and Maze Roads require a high-clearance, low-range, four-wheel drive vehicle." We only have a Kia Soul (which is NOT a 4WD vehicle). So, can I still take that drive suggested in this video? Thank you!
Your viewers need to understand that you can see a lot in the Islands district without going very far from your car, in the Needles district you have to hike to almost anything of interest, some short hikes but mostly long hikes.
Shaffer trail is one of the most beautiful scenery I’ve ever seen in Utah!
We drove all the way to the bottom and camped there ❤

Great tips. I'll make sure I check out some of these when I go there in a couple of weeks.

Hope you get back someday.
How do you feel about canyonlands on Christmas? I was thinking about bringing my family to Moab for Christmas next year.

Great video. Been to Island in the Sky and Needl3s section. Have you ever visited The Maze section?
Not yet. Someday.
So beautiful ❤😊

You can drive the Needles Hwy in a regular vehicle. Have fun!
