I popped multiple fuses on my paxton setup from the BAP, so I ended up getting a DW400 fuel pump and just disconnected the BAP completely and it never gave me anymore issues. It still got plenty of fuel making a little under 700wheel so if Teddy sees this I recommend doing that 100%
I have the same exact setup except that I’m running a fore reverse style fuel system and some id1000s. If itching for more power that’s a way to start.
I had multiple misfire codes after my vmp install. I did mantic clutch and flywheel and opgs. It’s recommended to do crank relearn after lighter clutch. I didn’t know. I threw several codes then did the relearn so far been doing good
I remember my first pull I had some clamps pop. Thinking I sent the right data, Alex told me to check to make sure everything was connected & running right.
Being so nervous doing pulls and intial tunes leaves you on edge and sooo soo stressed but once its finished its like getting through a nightmare to a dream come true 💯🔥

IF it was a 40amp that blew, the stock pump might be tired, the BAP might need a better ground or replaced.....I would just get a FORE fuel system but the stock gen 1 doesn't really need it.

Yo did he really say he needed the heat on for the thermostat to open up? Pretty sure it opens whenever the coolant temp gets to 160-190 whichever thermostat he has in the car and running the heat only makes it take longer to heat the coolant because you're pulling the heat from the heater core.
Ah I remember the headache of my 14’ with a Vortech. After a cylinder 8 misfire and a whole lot of false knock I returned it to stock and got rid of it. Hope you guys have better luck

Knock on wood, I haven't had a clamp come loose on me or pop a coulper. I'm still using the worm clamps that came with the Paxton kit
Once you figure out just HOW tight then need to be, then tend to do okay
