1 note about the Nus. They actually have two attacks. The first is the one mentioned in this video, that always reduces the hit character to 1HP. If they're already at 1HP, it will always do 0 damage. The other attack always does 1 damage. Doesn't matter if the character is full on HP or not. Just keep this in mind because a Nu CAN kill you if it hits you with the first and then the second.
You sure that this also goes for the Nu's in the Hunting grounds? I know that the Nu's you can fight in the secret passage in Enhasa have two attacks, but even there you fight 6 Nu's at once and three of them always reduce you to 1 HP and the other three always do 1 damage. I am genually curious right know if I was just lucky in the hunting grounds all the time ;)

It's entirely possible that you're right and they don't have their 1 HP attack in the Hunting Grounds. Outside of my very first playthrough, I never really spent a lot, if any, time there, but did do the "secret fight" with the 6 of them just about every run, so it is possible.

It took me many years and many playthroughs to start playing with Ayla's Charm and I was completely shocked by how broken it is. Getting speed tabs from those things in the Black Omen was unbelievable
Yep, you never need to buy any equipment once you start charming. And the amount of speed Tabs you get from the panels really is ridiculous. Plus all the megaelixiers...
Its really really good! Same goes for a lot of final fantasy titles, where stealing items also enables you to get equipment way before you are supposed to have it naturally.
@@TobiContinued93 For sure, Robo gets most of the magic tabs. Full party cure, can use all elements and the freaking Crisis Arm make Robo the best character IMO. He just needs a little boost to get there.
Robo is the best character in the game and I won't let anyone tell me otherwise. Super broken with ** Mag and Speed. Crisis Arm is just insane unless your HP ends in 3 or less.

Unfortunately the only enemy that respawns that drops tabs is power tabs. Everything else like magic and speed tabs you're only getting from things like bosses and other one time event unique enemies.
So I am not saying that I am what some people in the industry is calling it "Simping", but I am saying that I might have a Megalixir with a "Higher" percentage chance if Ayla DOES use Charm then Twin Charm with a certain charm top on.
I had a small part in the initial script about twin charm and also the Alluring Top for Ayla that increases her success rate, but I removed that part because I never felt the necessity to use either of those. Maybe I should have included it for completeness...
That won't increase the steal rate and as of Mt Woe Marle SUCKS for boss fights and won't be in my party save for the part where you fight Yakra the 13th in Guardia Castle in 100 AD AFTER beating the Giants Claw 600 AD boss first.
Haha yeah I forgot to mention that the pants go on the head, confuse the wearer and drain hitpoints :D So whats the most ridiculous outfit that you can wear in Chrono Trigger? Ozzie Pants, Charm Top and the Mop?
And don't forget, that Ayla changes her weapons when you level her up to 75 (I think?) and then again at Lv99. I forget what the Lv75 weapon is called, but the Lv99 weapon is called the Brass Knuckles and it makes her do a guaranteed 9999 damage if she gets a critical hit, even against Lavos's left bit that has insanely high defense (killing it in one shot, even).

I am planning to do another video about Spekkios final form. As I have to level up my characters to Level 99 for that, I can then check Aylas upgraded fist weapon.
About that its immune to all physical hits and stealing the White Mail off of Yakra the 13th is a must ELSE even at lv 99 Luminare can still hit for like 800+ damage ITS Flare/Dark Matter/Ice 2 spells do LESS damage then THAT.
My favorite charm is charming megalixirs off the winged apes in giant's claw. Theres a room near the entrance where you can spawn 2 of them with a button and you can just keep running in and out. Great if you dont want to run a healer.
Megalixirs are so great for the final boss. Because it restores the whole parties MP, you can go crazy with your best Techs (probably don't need to heal either). And due to the way New Game + works in this game (it's based on your last save, not your status after winning the game), you get to KEEP any items you spent in the final battles.
You can also get Megalixirs from the Ruminators (I don't remember if they have an updated name) on the Black Omen. They're the two headed snake things. You can repeatedly do a fight against 4 of them, and if you're quick and lucky you can get a megalixir from each.

@@TobiContinued93 Ayla is also extremely helpful for both the golem boss fights if you manage to get the dual tech Boogie, which inflicts the stop status on them, making those two fights a joke.
You have to go into the Omen first in 1000 AD and beat Queen Zeal. Then the Omen disappears only in that and future timelines (2300 AD), but its still there in earlier timelines (600 AD and 12000 BC). If you go into the Omen in 12000 BC first however, it disappears in all future timelines immediately and you cannot go in again... But like I said, when you enter the Omen a second and third time in earlier time periods, not all enemies (like the panels) and bosses are there again. But you can always fight Queen Zeal at the end (some crazy stuff about time convergence or whatever).
BUT the Speed/Magic tabs STOLEN in any version of the Black Omen are 1 time only so once you destroy the 1000 AD Black Omen the Panel enemies Speed Tabs and the 4x Alien enemies for stealing Magic tabs stay dead adn won't show up on the 600 AD or 12,000 BC. The 3 Mutant bosses + Lavos spawn stay dead so you won't fight them in the 600 AD and 12,000 BC version of it. But if you START the Black Omen in 12,000 BC it automatically gets destroyed in 600 AD and 1000 AD respectively.

If you have Marle on your team you can learn Twin Charm. It just increases the chance of "stealing" an item. But the animation is pretty funny.

Iron Fist if memory serves, and has a chance to confuse the target. And I'm pretty sure the second is Bronze Fist not brass.

Theres some stuff that you cant steal cause you dont have Ayla early. I dont know if its possible.
