    As for Capsule Monster, I'll make a case for Jelze: His Secret Fruit for his final form transformation is easy to find (they can be dropped by golems early in the cave), and all of his attacks are non-elemental which means they will work on everything. He will defend occasionally, but he very rarely runs away unlike Darbi. And in his final kitsune form, Tail Smash hits really hard. But then so does anything else he uses, too. Earlier in the cave, his 3rd form+ has Tackle which is a wickedly overpowered AoE attack hitting all enemies, and if you get it early enough, it's basically a one-shot to the whole enemy party for several floors of the weaker enemies. Head Butt is no joke either, and his 4th Form's Foomy Punch will hit twice instead of just once.

    On the subject of USA vs PAL version: -Capsule Monsters are WAY easier to grow on USA version (I did a couple videos showcasing this) -50 FPS on the PAL version is jarring and it screws with inputs and music playing; you can tell that the original Japanese version was coded with 60FPS in mind and it was bumped down to 50FPS for the PAL version, because that's standard on PAL TVs. To do this, they had to slow the entire game down by 10 FPS which affects inputs, animations, and yes, even the playing of sound effects and music. For these reasons I can't recommend anybody actually play the PAL version. It'd be nice if someone would romhack the NTSC version to fix the glitched tileset, but eh.

    And don't forget, that Ayla changes her weapons when you level her up to 75 (I think?) and then again at Lv99. I forget what the Lv75 weapon is called, but the Lv99 weapon is called the Brass Knuckles and it makes her do a guaranteed 9999 damage if she gets a critical hit, even against Lavos's left bit that has insanely high defense (killing it in one shot, even).

  • @Dhalin
    @Dhalin 14 годин тому

    Here's a small fun fact: Crush is secretly the most powerful spell in the game if used right, and it's really the only offensive spell you will ever need. This is due to the fact that you can easily powerlevel it pretty much as soon as you finish the Coliseum fight. Basically, acquire Crush, and progress the game until after the Coliseum. Get enough money to buy 95 of each ingredient used to cast it, and then go up to Nobilia again (you can use the charge run exploit to quickly cross the desert without needing amulets). To the right of the entrance is an area that throws you around and deals damage-over-time to you because of the sandstorm. More importantly, are the flying skulls here. Not only do they give you huge XP, but they are also weak against Crush. Once Crush gets Lv2, you can kill 3 skulls with one cast. Doing so yields more jewels than you spend on ingredients, so you can do this as much as you want and level Crush up to 9. Level 9 Crush will decimate anything in the game, and it's one of those spells that can be chain cast (you don't have to wait for the full animation before casting another). Even the Rat King falls quickly to Crush, as it does 500-600+ damage per shot, and the ingredients are easy to find, and most importantly, cheap, and each cast of Crush only costs 1 of each of its ingredients.

    Easiest glitched boss to beat ever First Person: Use healing potion on Egg Dragon 2nd Person: Attack Egg Dragon Fight is over. Boss is dead. Glitch: The devs accidentally looped his HP Pool at the end of his health bar. Meaning, when you heal him for 40 points with the potion, his HP loops over, and is then set to 39 HP. Luckily it's not looped the OTHER way.

    I remember attempting a run of Chrono Trigger a long time ago where I was only fighting boss battles (made it all the way to Lavos, but couldn't figure out a way to configure my party and equipment to survive his opening attack). I am doing a low level run of ff6, and a lot comes out of the game from trying it. I follow no specifc guide on who gets what experience (some put it all on gau to make him powered and breeze through.) Finishing floating continent now with every character is in the single digits, and not resetting 256 times to get the perfect minimum mag roader exp or anything like that. It is very doable and shows another side of the game I highly recommend. I will have a second save file in WoR for maxing out Celes, Edgar, and Seltzer speed stat and finishing with those 3 for that ending.

    Hold up... How do you fight queen zeal in the other time zones? I thought the black omen disappears after you kill her the first time

    • @TobiContinued93
      @TobiContinued93 8 днів тому

      You have to go into the Omen first in 1000 AD and beat Queen Zeal. Then the Omen disappears only in that and future timelines (2300 AD), but its still there in earlier timelines (600 AD and 12000 BC). If you go into the Omen in 12000 BC first however, it disappears in all future timelines immediately and you cannot go in again... But like I said, when you enter the Omen a second and third time in earlier time periods, not all enemies (like the panels) and bosses are there again. But you can always fight Queen Zeal at the end (some crazy stuff about time convergence or whatever).

      @@TobiContinued93 There's also a menu glitch in the NTSC version, if you go into Config and switch between Stereo and Mono sound, and it has a lot of jank weirdness that can have many effects, and IIRC, it can crash the game, or even brick the whole cart, not 100% sure on the latter point.
