Not just CSJ, but Eric Strauss as well who's another very skilled and knowledgeable typologist.
More like these two guys in the video are from the Dave Super Powers hivemind. Frank James literally believes he's infj because Dave, someone he considers to be a high status reputable typologist, has told him so. That is so inferior Te.

It is hard to say who is of which type from the videos because they are mostly under their control and to type someone we need to see many many more videos like this and even then we can not be sure because maybe they are a type but they have been working on themselves so we don't see the obvious signs or problem some types have......
If they know about typology for some time already then they know who or what they are or can be and they are definitely working on it

@@Binyamin.Tsadik idk maybe i need to improve my typeing game, but FJ does seem to be a stereotypical INFP to me. also i didn't try to type you so i can't comment on that. the way frank james talks really hits home with an INTP like me that has the same interraction style, and i'm pretty sure i'm not an INxJ so yeah, but i don't think that's a good argument, however the difference between him and me is that hes CLEARLY not a Ti user, hes very Te focused in the sense of being afraid about what people think of him, always using reference points like OPS as arguments, always about the thoughts of other people, every time he talks about Fe its obvious he's going at it from what he thinks he has, even tho he clearly makes Te statement after Te statement, hes very Te. do you have vids where you explain how you type people? am interested because my method seems to be very consistently accurate for me. btw i re-edited this comment 10 times so keep that in mind lol

@@Binyamin.Tsadik Okay, it will be a pleasure. Theres 5 points i'd like to make before I begin
      1. I have lived with an INFJ for 20+ years, so I have large amounts of experience and, unfortunately, bias.
      2. I have also worked with an INFJ in an office environment, so I also know how it feels to deal with one from an "outsiders perspective".
      3. I believe I am also in the Se/Ni axis, with Ni being much stronger than Se.
      4. With previous points made, I feel most confident speaking about INFJs than any other of the 16 types.
      5. Lastly, I am not a native english speaker, so if I make grammatical mistakes please let me know so i can fix them.

@@Binyamin.Tsadik 4:07 -- 4:32: Here he showcases Ti--Ne, figuring out internally the point of his vlogs and wishing to elevate it to a higher abstract concept that would best fit his audience whilst being unique, in a sense, he extroverted abstraction. You could make a case for Fe here, however, his train of thought suggests Fe, if used, was the last function as he spoke of relating to what people were going through last. He was much more concerned with the logical application of his vlogs and resorted to a large abstract concept that resonated with the variability of his audience.
5:39 -- 5:55: Ti -- Fe, what he is describing is an impersonal sense of "what has to be done logically" he branched out due to personal interest but brings his audience back because he knows their interest. I.e "If i require audience i must talk typology". This could make a good argument for him to be a INFJ with very well developed Ti, however, my personal experience indicates that said type is not impersonal on subjects they believe matter so it is very rare for one to carry along with something that is no longer where their heart is and where peoples hearts should be.
5:59 -- 6:05: Fi - Te. "I do comedy because i love acting and it is a big hit" I.e I do it because I want to and if it brings big numbers, great.
"Because it seems to be..." I will say it seemed as if he refrained from giving his actual reasons behind the new direction of the channel, if I were to expeculate i would say behind this choice there's very logical "if this then that" reasoning being done there, so Ti
8:57 -- 9:19: I have never EVER seen an INXJ concern themselves with information first before caring about the greater abstract meaning tied to how that would "change" peoples lives for the better. If he is INFJ this is very abnormal behavior.
9:20 -- 9:40: Hey, look at that Ti-Ne making a cameo once again
10:20 -- 11:36: Again, never seen an Ni dom concern themselves with control of situations first, so this is indicative of a judgement function at the top. Inxjs are first concerned with the manifestation of their abstract ideas, which means, they cannot be controlling of their inner selves and will not attempt to simply control their environment for control sake. I.e Their abstractions are bigger than them, and they respect said manisfestations as reality and seek to mold the external world into their internal understanding of what it is and should be. Also, analyzing in retrospect seems more Si than Ni, in my experience, if a Ni dom wishes to figure out their person they would project themselves into idealized situations that never actually happened and seldom refer to the past for reference. Even my mother, an INFJ woman that has never studied Jungian psychology is able to explain what Ni feels like, it is so different and vast that it's impossible to miss the influence.
Even he said he would type himself differently
12:22 -- 12:39: The beauty of Ti deductive reasoning "If this then that"
13:06 -- 13:37: Do i need to explain how Ti-- Ne that was? Narrowing down life to a few concepts and saying "this is how it works" is something distant to an INXJ. He says his deductive reasoning speaks louder than anything else, including life. An Ni dom probably wouldn't claim something so bold like that.
13:47 -- 13:57: So, he literally just showed his first self-analitical instinct is to refer to his past experiences. You know what this means? It means his only introverted perceiving function is Si, fitting exactly with one personality type: Ti - Ne - Si - Fe

    • @SoldierOfFaith
      @SoldierOfFaith 4 роки тому +5

@@Binyamin.Tsadik At this point it should be very obvious he absolutely isn't INFJ at all, but actually INTP. I also utilize body language to type people and have found great success in doing so (Thanks Casual Cognition) and his body language indicated the following: Ne eye moviments with some Si moments thrown in there, however, his eyes moved in a more subtle pattern than that of the average Ne dom, so Ne aux. Speech pattern is infomative and detailed to the extent necessary, Ti. He also has perceiver body moments, that are more random and expiradic than judging counterparts.
I would also like to apologize for my previous comment, as i concluded strong "Fi" with no in-depth analysis. If there are any other questions or examples you have/require let me know and i'll happily provide. Thanks to both you and Frank James for the awesome work done for Typology and Jungian Psychology in general! Much love from Brazil!

INFJ typically have NI FE TI
INFP typically have FI NE SI
I see NI narrowing down, exploring the same concepts from multiple angles, building support with TI & having fun with it(tertiary) & FE considerations/ awareness of others perceptions & the validity aspects(aux).. is this enjoyable for my audience?
To be prioritizing sleep but not being sure of his own sense of self typing & priorizing his finished products to appeal to the masses doesnt display FI in the slightest to me either .. FE as aux is like the constant checker on everything, even internal thoughts get checked by it...its almost inescapable & incredibly hard to ignore.
      Just my opinion tho :P
It's nearly the same as myself & Ive consistently typed thru various unofficial methods as INFJ & INTP so 乁 ˘ o ˘ ㄏ

  • @Amanda_D
    @Amanda_D 4 роки тому +3

So... still no official typing yet? I've been trying to type myself but haven't been able to figure it out yet. According to OP I should be the opposite of whatever I type myself as, so I haven't been able to figure it out because my 16 personalities test results came back as INFJ 4 times in a row (this was before learning about OP), and after learning about OP that just feels like some kind of peacocking trap (plus the tests aren't very accurate anyways), so I've been too unsure to even say "I'm *probably* xxxx."
But I relate to so much of what FJ says. I'm naturally a little bit more organized, and my boundaries are probably more firm, but it seems like everything else he says could be coming out of my own mouth. I don't know if that's because we're the same type, or we're both just neurotic, but it would be helpful to know for sure if he is an INFJ. Because if it turns out he's an INTP or something like that I'm going to be much more optimistic about my own "diagnosis." lol

You know, I didn't think of myself as an INFJ for a while, and one of the things that didn't seem to fit at first was the structured planning side of it... I think into the future, but I don't really see it as a five year plan per say, because, like Frank James, the idea of setting a goal like creating a worthy website that has the qualities I like seems too daunting. I see the goal how I want it to be, but the anxiety surrounding the execution because of my detail orientedness makes it hard. So I choose to not set definite goals for myself in order to relieve stress and if I start a project, I tend not to let others know until I'm well underway so that I don't feel intimidated by my own expectations as much. This said, I push myself hard and in hindsight, and to those around me, I definitely show that structured nature in a way, because of all the things I have done. Honestly, when I first heard about this stuff, without taking a test or knowing too much about it, I'd probably type myself as an INFP or an INTP

      P O W E R - R E D - B U L L INFJs have the best brain function when it comes to goal reaching and problem solving but that’s only if they us it correctly
      Se-Ti-Ni.
      Se:
is the ability to gather a large amount of information in a short period of time.
But it’s better to have it as the inferior function.
Because if it’s strong you’re gonna be able to gather a large amount of information (details) in a short period of time witch gives you the ability to reach your goal without knowing what your goal is (learning blindly) but if it’s not strong you’re not gonna be trying to gather details (learning blindly) instead you’re gonna be trying to find a description to the situation (general information=big picture) witch gives you the ability to activate Ti.
      Ti:
The Ti ability is to find details in a big picture/situation by being specific in your description.
It’s like when you’re on top of a mountain and see everything(big picture=explanation to the situation)and your goal is to find the details in it by shrinking the circle(being more specific in your description) once you find them Ni ability is unlocked.
      Ni:
It’s so strong, just go with the flow, you don’t need to know about it.
If you do it correctly any problem can be solved.

@@chrisnewman283 Ok, your description sounds interesting. However, I think if we observe INFJ's in reality, they do not appear to be exceptionally good when it comes to problem solving. At least the INFJ's I know or see on youtube and such do not appear to be exceptionally problem solving orientated. Can you elaborate and explain which type of problems they are good at to solve (in reality)?

      P O W E R - R E D - B U L L that’s because Se is our inferior function witch is good only if you us it correctly.
If it’s the 4th function that means
1)you’re gonna be looking at information 1 by 1
      2) you’re gonna be looking at descriptions rather than details witch will activate Ni and Ti.
But if an INFJs cant solve a problem that means he’s not using Se properly
INFJs are the deepest thinkers but to think you need to have something to think about
It’s like a miner that can’t find gold because he can’t find a mine

Frank James is such an INFP...
    edit: Here's why
    - He's all over the place and random in his videos. He starts out talking about A, then is distracted and talks about B , comes back to A (etc etc..)
    . That's Ne , not Ni
    - He discribes negative experiences in extreme detail, like he's actually in pain again at the moment he describes he was once in pain. That seems more Si than Se.
    - His humor seems like a type who has Ne in their top 2 functions. While I wont say it's impossible for an INFJ to act openly goofy like him, I hardly ever see them doing it or making it a gimmick in their videos.
Such type of humor is classically more Ne than Ni
    - He does not seem to display much Fe. He has issues interacting with people in the manner that is consistant with Fi types and Se PORL. Also, the way he presents himself seems very authentic rather than a "Fe-polite" vibe that INFJ's use. Fi radiates a more intimate vibe than Fe.

Hm, why do you think so? I'm an INFP, and I don't get the sense that's he's one, but I could totally see him being an Enneagram 4.

@@PowerRedBullTypology gotcha, peace! All good points to consider. Surface level he gives off an INFJ vibe, but also he seems to put on a "show" as if an audience is definitely watching him. But that doesn't exclude INFP's, as we can have different parts of ourselves, like characters, that we portray in different settings

@@PowerRedBullTypology I agree. Especially the "etc etc etc..." part lol.
But i would say ENFP rather than INFP, cause i don't see ANY Ti, jut self-help psychobabble Te. And he is not seeking it as INFP do, he is splashing it all over the place with Ne.

@@tsenjin7903 Like you guys I don't believe he is INFJ, but actually INFP and like Liv said above Ennneagram 4. His constant problem with Se suggest Se polr. So INFP it is to me.
Plus, I don't think ENFP would be consistent because he has some problem with social interactions that ENFP don't really have.
