- This is the best and easiest Blaze Farm you will ever build. It requires 0 redstone, unless you add on the optional trident killer (which of course I will!) and gets the maximum rates the spawner is able to put out! Blaze rods are one of the best fuel sources in Minecraft, as you can AFK to get them, and they last a good amount of time within a furnace, and the farm is so easy to build! It's a shame more people didn't watch your last video, honestly. I watched it cover to cover, most of it TWICE because I was distracted on the first view, and then I watched BluJay's too, even though 90% of it is the same material, because I just love this series. (BTW, yes, I'm subscribed, and yes, I always hit the Like button before I watch.)

After spending hours hunting for coral fans I decided to make this farm without them. It is working very well. I have also found that I don’t need the slab or trapdoors. The xp just gets to me. I got I think 5 stacks in 45 minutes. Thanks Prowl!

Prowl the reason you're getting spawns in the glass is because mobs spawn on the northwest corner of blocks, by putting the solid blocks there you're blocking spawn attempts so instead extend the spawning space by one on the north west side
If I extend that on all sides for 1 block, does it matter ? Except I'll need to extend the floor/funnel one level I assume
@@Knee_High no that would be fine as long as you're still activating the spawner from your afk position. Alternately use a pumpkin to find north west, the stem on top always points that direction

Using glass panes instead of blocks around the spawn area will also work.
This has been awesome to watch. I built one in my solo world sometime late last year, I could've used this video back then....potato me built my killing station to far down so the spawner turns off, and I made it one big square just like a spawner from over world (I.e. skeleton). I may have to go adjust it based off of this video. GG
Also extend the spawning area up by 1, reason being the blaze hitbox is I think 1.8 blocks high so you need to allow space if a spawn attempt is made above the spawner level
Yes, I spotted that and it would be causing the blazes to glitch out of the area.
So I'm gonna try going up 4 and make a pyramid top. Also I'm gonna use cobble instead of glass for the walls from the spawner y level up to the top. Then I wonder about tinted glass I see it used for other kinds of spawners but not sure if it's needed.

25 coral fans
I guess that instead of the coral fans you could replace the glass blocks beside ledges with pistons that are linked to the repeating redstone signal from the trident killer. That way, for every pulse of the trident killer you'd get a push on every ledge, driving them steadily downward. You could have the signal start at the top of the ledges and move down so that it's a really efficient push pattern. A little more expensive, but if someone doesn't want to see Blazes hanging out higher in their farm it should do the trick.
I really like your vids and that you make them in survival just wish you could show every bit of the build with your farms as I have learning disabilities thank you for your help with all my farms
For the trident killer you can also just use more observers, one (observer A) faces a piston the another faces the other observer (observer B). When the piston activated it’ll trigger the observer B and activate the next piston. A lever on a piston or block to power the piston will turn off the killer eezy peezy.
Edit: I think this also solves the blaze escape glitch as I've been using this design for a while and never encountered any rogue blazes (magma cubes are sometimes pesky so an afk box is still helpful)

You can also use a RS Torch on the sides of the pistons. They're nearly as cheap as RS Dust, just as effective as any other update block, and I like how they look in the circuit. Can't speak to any glitchiness associated with them on the corners, but I'd probably just solve it with another layer of glass blocks so that I could still see it all because I like seeing the circuits.
Now trap the Ghast and name him Ghasty Blast! 🤣

i think Foxy found that if you afk below the trident killer it encourages the blaze to drop down faster after being hit. Also, i didn't know spawners worked differently on bedrock, thanks for the info

Not sure if it was something that temporarily changed or was bugged during time of video, but torches do stop spawns in bedrock 1.21 at least again. Just came back after a while and used to play Java. But as of last night I used torches to subdue my blaze spawner and start prepping things around and came here to see if there were any differences in bedrock from Java:)

Torches will turn off a blaze spawners, but you have to place 2 on each side and 1 on top for it to work. This isn’t very effective if a killer, but if you just want to turn it off in the fortress it works great

Hey Prowl, maybe you can help out here: I play on Bedrock exclusively, and I've tried so many time to AFK yet have been met with ZERO spawning. I havent built your blaze farm yet - I'm saying generally. I have several AFK farms (witch Hut, raid farm, etc) but somehow AFK DOES NOT produce anything for me. IS there anything you can tell me about this? Am I supposed to be on Hardcore mode? am I supposed to have cheats on? Can't find info on this anywhere. Please help a fellow Minecrafter!
Assuming you are not on peaceful, it's likely you are AFK'ing in a spot that is close enough to spawn other mobs. I'd check out my mob farm episode or episode about mob spawning this season to get a bit more information. Im sure they will help you out.
@@Prowl8413 About that. I'M pretty sure I always make an AFK spot at a proper distance. I am actually on my own private Bedrock vanilla server, set to Normal. So AFKing should be possible... but after a certain amount of time (even an hour) it's like my keyboard or mouse needs a continuous input - spawning simply...stops. What gives?

The reason i think why the blazes spawn iwth their head i the outer blocks is cause of how mobs spawn in bedrock. They spawn i bellieve in teh NW corner of block, and so even if there are blocks there, they could glitch through, especially since your build is made of glass, which is a transparent block, which i think, and i repeat think, may make that easier to glitch through

I have always wondered and I’m not the technical person with farms and stuff I’m more about general redstone I’ve always questioned trident killers and how odd they are I made one before for a test and it was slow too kill the skeleton but I think they are really cool anyways and I’ll try and learn them as much as I can

Coral fans or trap doors are the only options. Buttons got patched a while back
I’ve been told that trap doors have a hit box so coral fans might be the best choice.

Mobs spawn on the northwest corner of the block - that is why they are spawning in the glass on the northwest side
I think your smelter setup is inefficient. This could be why you ran out of fuel. You won't generate enough gold swords to keep all those furnaces running meaning you are going to burn one blaze rod for every one or two swords. You should change to blast furnaces and use only 2-4 of them. Start with only 2 and if it doesn't keep up add 2 more.
The furnace row in the back is for the stone generator to smelt smoothstone
For the swords I only have 4 furnaces total, and they only have a slight gap between swords for smelting

What if I don't use coral fans but blue ice in the funnel? I have two spawners so I'll try the blue ice and see what happens.

Yes but coral fans are better because trapdoors have a hit box which they could actually land on
Bro, how do I make this building for a double spawner, i would love see this. Any abdice welcome, the spawnwrs are 9 blocks apart and on the same level.
I did it and basically just doubled the builds. My spawners are 4 blocks apart. Came out pretty nice actually. You just have to substitute one on the diamond points of the funnel to just a solid wall

I did torches in mine and didn't see any spawns. Strange.
Edit: Nothing will spawn with torches until you put a solid block next to those torches. Use glowstone as indicated in the video.
Do the ghasts not break the glass? I don't have mob.griefing off. I don't see how I could even build this.
I appreciate that you're doing it in survival. I could switch to peaceful, but I really don't like that idea. I'll just have to deal with the dangers.... Again.
I dont think Ghasts can see through the glass. So they wont atack you

Yes, it is. I have it on mine. You can't get Fortune III with Silk Touch.

Yo, can't you use stone buttons instead of coral fans?... or trap doors?
Buttons stopped working about a year ago, and mobs will often stop on the edges of trap doors and not fall down.

Yep.
Yes, BUT be ready to deal with game lag, very laggy, due to all mobs accumulated.

Question: What do I do when my trident killers don't work? Like when the tridents get stuck on the piston and won't hit anything? Do you know why this might happen?

You don't have to use those coral things, you can just use buttons.
You can't, buttons aren't viewed by mobs as full blocks as of like 4-6 mom ago. They don't try walking on them

Blaze rods and exp. that’s not enough?
Blaze rods can be used for so many things. One of the really big reasons I want one is to make end rods. LOVE them for lighting. And I didn't want a farm fully encased in normal blocks where I can't see the blaze. They're beautiful when they're not trying to kill you. A buddy made a nice one on his realm but he won't make me one on mine (can't really complain, he's made me some other nice farms) so I'm lookkng to see something that I like the looks of.
