I'm so happy that Albania keeps sending songs in their own language and not translated in English because it sounds really beautiful and interesting, you're sharing your culture with Europe and look at the results, straight to the finals three times in a row, it definitely pays off. We are not used to that kind of music. (Eastern style singing and melodies). It takes some time getting used to but this was amazing. Out of the more ethnic songs this was the best. Ukraine on the other hand...

This is why Albania is on a qualifying streak right now: they take the contest seriously! I didn't like that much the song at first, but the revamp, the staging and Anxhela's performance were absolutely magneficent! And I hope they continue to send songs in Albanian, because I think it's one of the most fitting languages when it comes to musicality

I honestly believe that Albania send some of the best vocalists to Eurovision. This was one of my favourites, and completely underated!
Albania sends the best singers in Eurovision, because they come after winning FIK ( National Singing Festival) the most prestigious singing competition in Albania and the oldest one, 58 years on the running. There is a strict jury, strong song and singer selection by the jury and the winner is proud just to win the National Festival, even without participating in Eurovision..... Eurovision participation started really late for Albanians. FIK was the BIGGEST event during communism times.
This is the point of Eurovision after all singing in your own language and showing each other how unique and beautiful european languages are .Meanwhile 90% of the countries this year are singing in English to gain some more support .Im glad with Albania🇦🇱 and others who choose to sing in their native language
Yeah I’m English but I’ve never liked countries singing in English simply because Eurovision is meant to portray each individual countries culture, language etc and I think they really miss out on that aspect when they sing in English

I thing singing in your native language and including some etno elements in the song is essential for Eurovision, it's not just a song contest it's an opportunity to show Europe something about your culture. I loved the Albanian song, and all other songs who gave me this feeling of getting closer to someone else's language and culture. Very powerful song and great singer!

Her other songs are really great too,especially her Kenga Magjike 2017 winning song 'E Çmendur', 'Pa Mua' that won her a Song of the Year 2019 in one of Albania's music awards, and official solo debut song 'Ishe Mbret.' She's a fantastic and versatile singer.

Same! Anxhela's charisma stands out the most to me out of all the female contestants IMO. There's just something to her I can't explain or don't know what it is. Her vocals is great, no doubt about that. Her body looks great too. I really do think almost everyone fell in love with her since this performance,given that they underestimated her before this.
