My issue with open ear design is that you are letting in outside noise. That I don't like from open ear heaphones.

But what’s the difference between the OpenFit vs Transparency mode?

Transparency mode is used on earbuds that seal your ear holes. It streams the audio coming from the earbuds microphones through the speakers so you can hear what’s going on around you without removing the earbuds.

Openfit doesn’t seal your ears so there is no need for transparency mode. You actually hear what’s going on around you like you would if you weren’t wearing earbuds.
