I know you probably hear this all the time Mike, but you really are a great teacher. You have an awesome way of including all people at any level and you leave no one behind. You help the little guys become the big guys. Thank you for that! Hope you’re well 🍻
I greatly appreciate the opportunity to learn from your channel. Your instructional abilities are truly commendable, and your voice maintains a remarkable fluency throughout all segments, complemented by impeccable editing and smooth transitions. I extend my heartfelt gratitude for generously sharing your wealth of knowledge.
Hey Mike. I've been trying to learn Studio One for a few years now. I love your channel. Your no-nonsense, detailed explanations of S1 plugins and tools are just what beginners like me have been looking for! Thank You Very Much!
Super informative and very helpful. I knew about the splitter tool but never really used it. I was doing the old bus method as you presented at the beginning of your video but I can see the potential of splitter, not only for vocal processing but also creating massive Mai Tai sounds.
In the first part of the video, you were using the reverb and compressor pre-fader. Wouldn't you need the splitter to be at the very top of the chain to achieve the same end result?
I was considering splitter, but I didn't understand how to make sure that the effect of the same compression or reverse remained, since I did exactly the same thing in nuendo and studio one.
Mike: I noticed that the plugins you put into each side of the splitter were also in the main chain prior to the splitter. It seems as if S1 should then apply the plugins twice, once in the main chain then again in the split. Am I missing something? The couple times I've tried to use this, I only place plugins in the split section. I'm slightly confused.
how can I make a post insert on one FX or BUS channel, I need it because I also use send from soothe and it is important for me to throw not on sub but on FX or BUS
Hey Mike ! I have a Question: If upgrade from my Studio One pro. version 5 to Studio One 6 pro. will I have both version 5 and 6 on my computer or vill it change to version 6 ?

Once I found out about splitter it became one of my favorites lol. Since I don’t have fabfilter saturn, I mainly use it as multiband saturation 😊

Awesome powerful video I can already see many great uses of the splitter tool for dual guitar amps and effects as well. Thanks for your great videos.
Cheers Scott!
This is gold!!!!! Thank you so much. Great channel.

Hi Mike. Love your channel.
Your videos are so helpful. Thank you, sincerely!

Can you use pipeline in splitter?
Thanks always helpful to get a refresher
can you use it to do post insertion exactly like in nuendo\cubase? or is it impossible

Can a splitter be put on a cue mix to allow for separate EQ-ing of left right output for a person with unequal hearing loss? Thanks!
It's the flagship feature of studio one
Hope for midi-out plugin soon for instrument track
Hi Mike, can you use 3rd party plugins with the S1 splitter?
Hi Earle, yes you can!
Great video ... going to give it a try
Again, well explained.

This is amazing you can make preset chains
I don't understand why presonus doesn't add a bypass button on the splitter to AB the changes or effects.
Hey Mike ! I have a Question: If upgrade from my Studio One pro. version 5 to Studio One 6 pro.
will I have both version 5 and 6 on my computer or vill it change to version
6 ?
Yes, u can have both versions on the same computer
what makes you use a bus instead of an fx channel on the track
Hi Mike - same question ..!?
Thanks!
Is the splitter only on studio one pro? I have artist 6 and don't see it.
Hi Cal, yes, I think this is only in Pro.

😐I fell asleep and woke up here
Splitter lowers original signal by 3dB
Confusing as mud. Thick mud.
