  • Description:
The Darknet is a component of the Deep Web that is shielded from casual web surfing by systems such as TOR and Freenet.
When speaking of sites on the Darknet people generally are talking about TOR Services. TOR Services allow you to create your own webserver and have it accessible only from users of TOR.
TOR Services look like xizazy2kz32bo3k... and are not routable on the standard Internet.
The key components of the Darknet are:
    Uses standard Internet Technologies
Requires a Special Client to Access the Network
Anonymity for both Client and Server is maintained

Eli, from one IT guy to another, I love your videos. Even though I have a solid understanding in most of the topics you've covered, I love coming here to watch and listen to you explain them. To me it's a lot like getting the opinion and views from a much more experienced coworker. Keep it up, man!

The ultimate purpose of the dark net: To be able to violate Chinese, Iranian and North Korean laws while not being able to break American or European laws. Of course, a system that cannot do the latter is useless for the former. Global freedom depends on the existence of crime with impunity. If they can trace the drug dealers, then it's no good for political protest either. Too many laws everywhere anyway.

The Failcraft is a sinister discovery of italy, made especially for WGF Lyon. It is a fusion of every special mobs, included Twilight Forest, SCP Foundation...

Stop hyping it up and educate - I don't care if you're gay - be yourself, but for fuck's sake, get to the point and speak plainly! And, you need to be corrected. DarkNet is a LARGE idea within the VERY SPECIFIC idea of the web. This is describable in the samee way that imaginary numbers are ubiquitous and supersede the universe of real numbers. You need to take some math classes.

"Special software" yeah, Tor (updated), about four VPNs running at once, and a computer with no accounts logged in (unless you are a newbie and have your PayPal account on the computer you are using and access the DeepWeb with blinders on. Tor is amazing setup, but you can never be so careful. Hell, I use a wiped laptops, three VPNs, and DuckDuckGo open on ready. Maybe I am a little overly cautious, but I take no risk.

Craig D Another thing worth noting is the best of the programming/hacking industry prowls there. I have stumbled upon guys using software programming in a way that allows them to alter DNA structures and such. I have not made the effort to go research it further, but my point is, aside from the illegal and immoral stuff; There is a network of highly intellectual individuals
And a lot of them are willing to teach you or give you some tips when it comes to programming or even general questions.

Robots.txt really are useful when doing recon against a website, if a site has robots.txt, you instantly know all the directories they don't want indexed, and may also be unprotected (though unlikely), because of the fallacy "Security by Obscurity".

quick question! NOT ;) I`ve heard something about online companies that sells products. in a way (by cookies or tracking IP`s or maybe by other means) knows what a consumer usualy are willing to spend on products, no matter if you log on from home computer, work computer. Meaning that the price shown to you, is the price they think you are willing pay. So if I understand it correctly, one would be able to circumvent this price with TOR Browser. and see the actually Price for the product and save some Money? I suppose of course that it would lose some anonymity if you order products through. TOR. but just seeing how much they try up the Price could be nice.
Remember that English is not my mother tongue and I am not an IT geek (unfortunately) but working on it. Thumbs up to Eli!!!

+Dark Ace Magic Using Tor or visiting the page lands you on the NSA watchlist (regardless if Tor winds up being anonymous or not), and if you aren't stealthy enough and setup things the way Tor tells you to, you can still be caught anyway. So if someone is planning to use Tor to hire a contract murderer, if they aren't properly setting up all of their Internet settings to protect everything, even with Tor, they can still be arrested.
So, basically, don't be a criminal.

"I'm not going to log into any of it; I don't want to be on the NSA's Radar" doesn't that defeat Tors purpose entirely then? if simply a matter of logging in to a site through Tor will get you on a list, why even use Tor? Particularly if you happen to be in an authoritarian/autocratic state.

The nsa can still find out about what he's doing through this video. That's why he did not log in. To avoid incriminating himself on video.

      BigDvincent21 uh... no..they can't..
it's more likely he doesn't have an account on that site and figured it would be honeypot.

LOL!! No what I mean is. Is that him showing us how to get there by using this video and uploading it to a site that's not on the dark web showcases him doing what he's not supposed to in NSA's eyes lol. Thats' what I mean by them seeing it.

BigDvincent21 Visiting the site itself in inherently illegal, using it however, for nefarious things, is.

I think what the majority of people really want to find out is : "Can I buy drugs. Can I sell drugs, can I watch child porn, cant I watch some hideous porn, can I buy some guns, can i get someone to kill my wife. can I find ways to hack facebook, or my bank, or better yet your bank account. Can I get access to info Im not supposed to get, can i find groups that will help me with my wanting to do the crimes im planning. Will people find out I like watching inhumane acts upon others in video, and is there these types of vids??. otherwise Im good to go with my google."
