The biggest hassle is having to carry around a second pair of shoes with you for when you get out of the elevator.
Alorand haha lol
Haha
Wonderful shoes. It would be fortunate if the company offered a cheaper alternative. But when it comes to hand made leather shoes in Italy there isn't much wiggle room.
I can imagine the labor costs in Italy are RATHER high.
excellent Review Bradley they look like very well made and they look good on your feet Bradley thanks for sharing this review was awesome 👍👍👍👍☺☺☺☺ best regards Peter
Thanks for watching, Peter!
A bit rich for my 5'5" self .... if I had that kind of money, I'd rather buy a few really nice pipes.
Wouldn't be able to blame you for that!
Im not complaining but 660 dollars is a little rough. Although they are one of the only ones that look decent, other elevator shoes often look tacky
Yeah price with comfort
They are attractive and the height increase is all good. Women wear heels and they are great! There are lots of times when a few more inches of height would make all the difference as in pictures. We must move forward in our opinions. Yes to well groomed men who care about themselves!Ty! 😋
can you return the shoes if you don't like them??? this is a serious question
Looks good
Nice video! I really like the intro. Were you listening to the song that plays in the intro when you recorded yourself walking, or did you just happen to walk in time with the song?
Just a happy coincidence mixed with editing!
for someone 5'5'' to 5'6'' if I went with 4 inch elevator shoes I'd be the American average right? do they actually make 4 inch sneakers that don't look noticeable that they are elevator shoes? would I be able to work out in them well and run in them as if they were nikes? do you have a 4 inch elevator shoe to show us?
I know they make a 4 inch shoe, but I can't say for sure how they would feel. My shoes had the smallest riser in them.
STUFFandTHINGS did you email them to get these for your video? I cannot seem to find any UA-cam video to help me :/ I wonder if they may let me try them out and make a video since I'm really nervous about spending 400usd on something I don't know how well they would work.
Trust me, from someone who's been there, it's not worth going that high. I've got bad posture, wonky ankles, knees and deformed feet from using big lifts and high elevators everyday for the past 8-9 years. They won't make you more confident, you'll be very self conscious that the walk looks unnatural and constantly watching your back, fearing people will notice. I personally would recommend going for a Dons Midsole Tech style shoe no higher than 2.5" or 2.75". They don't feel like heels, very comfortable and won't mess you up in the long term. That's still a high boost that you will appear at least 5'7 to other people that are in normal 1" shoes.
@@seansurrenders What happened to you? How do you know its all the lifts fault, and not something else?
@@seansurrendersthat's why wear full cut pants or boot cut pants nobody will notice or wear loose jeans nobody will notice
_Very nice_ thanks for the review
Thanks for watching!
Great review on a pair of shoes I would never buy...yet, back in the late 60's early 70's...I actually bought some elevator/platform shoes as part of my rock and roll, kind of, Kiss look!?!? Yet, as you describe their construction and comfort and degree of quality...I was just wondering if they sold normal makes and models????? John.
As far as I know, all the GuidoMaggi shoes are elevator shoes.
hey bro nice shoes i loved it btw wch music u hav put it for dis video can u tell me plzzzz
I don´t know...something weird about this review. Didn't have the SnT-vibe somehow.....
Yes, I felt the same.
Sejdr Agreed
100% agreed. *sigh*
You guys need to relax. :-)
I'm trying out different formats for videos and reviews. I'm assuming you're trying to suggest that I wasn't being objective? Nope. I received the shoes for free, but I had no agreement with the company to say anything other than what I thought. I tell any company that wants to send me a product for review that it is entirely possible that I will not like the product, and if I don't, you guys will definitely hear about it. I've also said no to MANY reviews because I didn't feel like the product would fit with the channel. In this case, I liked them. Quite a bit.
Thank you for taking time to comment Bradley - I can obviously only answer for me:
I think you are taking my comment to mean more than intended, it was just a feeling that something was not as it use to be, maybe some change in the way in the format as you say, but I could pinpoint it - it was just a feeling.
Never did I mean you weren't being objective or anything to that matter.
If you did mix with the format my comment could be seen as a critique of sorts OR it could be seen as just a normal reaction to change; not quite sure what to make of it. ;)
lovely shoes but a bit spendy, although they look worth the price Thanks brad
Thanks for watching!
I'm 6'0" I need these .
Me too. I'm 6'1" (185.5 cm). The ideal height for guys/men is 6'4" to 6'6" in my opinion.
@@benshimron1113 Thank you for your reply! I'll keep that in mind.
@@X_lIllIIllIl_X bro 6'6 is the height of the average NBA player wtf are you talking about
@@hkleider I’m 6’1” and most of the guys in my university campus are taller than me. Does that say anything to you?
@@X_lIllIIllIl_X that is statistically impossible, except for maybe the Netherlands, and even there you'd be technically slightly above average. You're not actually 6'1. And it still doesn't make your claim that 6'6 is "the ideal height for men" any less ridiculous, do you actually know what 6'6 looks like? Are you aware it's 2 meters?
How long did it take for the shipping though
I'm looking for a pair of 8 inch elevator shoes for my friend who's 5 feet 2.
Don shoes or these ones??
Can I wear it a 7.5
Good day for strolling , getting a Hot Cup Jo and some Flake. 😎☕🍺🎮
Hope you had a Wonderful Holiday Bradley 😊 🍗🍇🍷🍴🍵 And... maybe someday, the Relaxed Outdoorsman look from a post (Mississippi River pipe tabbacco review) look will make an appearance ...however, sympthicaly understand... from a broad audience perspective... first thing's first. Keep living well...Bradley 😎☕🍺🎮
Thanks for watching!
For that kind of money, it would be more cost effective, to obtain the desired height increase, by having a surgeon, sew on to your feet, cadaver soles.
lol i cant believe they call it elevator shoes...
A little too on the nose?
Hehehe
Way to expensive $500
Borderline embarrassing.
Joseph Magnuson like, why
just as embarrassing as women with fakeup or high heels right?
In my opinion, *the ideal height for guys/men is from 6'4" to 6'6" **_inclusive._* 6'3" and 6'7" are alright, neutral heights (depends on how others perceive you). 6'8" and up is just too tall _(aka giraffe tall)_ due to making the guy look too skinny, but is as good as being 6'4"/6'5"/6'6" if being fully ripped/jacked (I once saw a video about a bulked giant Dutch man; that is what 6'7"+ guys need to achieve, because otherwise people see them as weird/creepy). But being that much tall is still better than being 6'2" and under, which is average/short/too common of a height for guys/men (more than 90% of all males have it).
The only options to increase your _"boring" "ununique"_ height is either to wear height insoles (shoe lifts), wear elevator shoes or save up money for a painful and risky leg lengthening surgery.
There is nothing embarrassing about making yourself meet society's standart of "a tall guy is seen as more masculine, dominant and successful". If you are naturally 6'4", 6'5", etc., just be happy and enjoy your life.
Take care
@@X_lIllIIllIl_X 6'2 is average/short/too common and the ideal height for men is the average of NBA players? Dude stop browsing black pill incel forums wtf are you talking about
