When i try to enter the ip address on my windows PC it always redirected me to a browser saying it can't be reached. there's no windows security window showing up when i enter the ip address on the search bar of the file explorer :/

No, the data on the Mac stays on the Mac. When you delete the folder from the Windows, you are just removing the bridge to go to your Mac computer, you can easily recreate it very well. However if you delete the data on the Mac, that's when it truly disappears, because that's what we made our "central point" to hold all of our files. Hope that helps. :-)
Apologies for the late respond. I assume, there might be 2 things you are encoutering, 1. You don't have a Windows password or 2. You have it but you lost it? In the first case, click the Start Button, or Windows Button + R, then type "netplwiz" this would run the User Accounts, click on the Reset Password, to change your password. Bare in mind, once you enter a password, you will always need a password when logging in Windows. I suggest to always use a password because a lot of services require it. Let me know if you still have problems.

Your nav would show you the ip address (look under the file sharing options - after clicking the i button)
Your slashes need to look just like his did. Trust me!
