In this video guide, we're going to show you the exact step-by-step process to prepare and optimize your 3D model for 3D printing. We'll be taking one of our previous tutorials as an example, and printing the Swiss Facade model on Ender 3 v2 3D printer. You'll discover the complete process of using the 3D printer, optimizing the model in specific slicing software, and then printing it out.
If you're interested in this topic and you'd like to go deeper, we prepared a special video that's available on our Patreon page that's going to give you some additional tips and tricks on what are some of the best resources to find 3D models and communities of 3d makers that you can join.

3 things: thank you for showing a bit more on designing for 3d printing. Next, putting the glue on the bed is not to help it stick to the plate, but rather, to help lift it off the plate. Lastly, what did you use for the support filament?
nice video
Thanks for the visit!
You are just like me, I just recently got my own personal 3D printer. You asked a question in someone else’s chat about “ideas on what you should print next”. Honestly if you print any project that you modeled in your previous videos this could be a very dope series.
All right! Awesome, glad to hear that you'd find this interesting to watch :D
Thanks for the Video!
Sure, you're welcome Robert! :)
It's been a great practice, very good, I will learn from you! pay tribute
Awesome, thank you!
Why you dont print it flat?
It's also possible to print it flat, but I wanted to have more definition in the waves and be more precise, that's the only reason
@@HowtoRhinoi don’t understand why this way you’ll have more details? Could you elaborate on this please ?
@@ahmadkhaled3676 If you print flat side down, the detailed features will print like a topographic map which gives a different visual effect. It mostly comes down to your preference for the visual style.
