He is a certified Big Foot tech and did an awesome job. It was pretty funny. He had our trailer up on blocks as he removed the rear stabilizer foot and re-welded it...right there on a side street. Nice guy. Enjoy the area. Also, there is a good "food truck" next door to Foothills Village RV Resort that's nice. I'm guessing you're glad you don't have to fetch water or waste for a few months. Hope you get some rides in...what happened to your mikes? That one video in Montana seemed to have good sound with you guys talking on the CanAm. Enjoy Yuma. Aloha David

Hey, We are Neighbors! We bought our Lot here in 2020 as a base camp, due to all the parks shutting down because of covid. Another YTer is out here too (Next Exit). I agree with you on the RV parks. They're fun if you want the pool and socials. But it's a lot more peaceful living with more space. And we love sunset walks when the weather is nice. Hope to meet you at some point. Let us know if you want to come by and see our set up on our lot.

We are headed that way in September and love this , We did not know that this was a possibility , we don't use the amenities at the parks either and and not having to pay for them is great . We stayed at a few of the Encore resorts in the past Amy, then we were able to drive around the neighborhoods and check to see if there were private lots for rent. Hope you find one.

Welcome to the Foothills! We are on our 4th winter here in the Foothills on a private lot and we love it! Like you we do not use the amenities in an RV park and we love that we can ride either in the rugged rocks or the desert sand right from our lot. Make sure you check out Howl at the Moon while here, you can ride the Can Am. I believe this month it is Feb 6th, great people watching, live music, food trucks. Hope you enjoy your stay and maybe we will see you at one of your meet ups or out on the road or desert!

in 2 days we go to pick up our new to us class c and finally get to start rving. in a couple yrs after hubby retires we can hopefully get to quartzsite! getting soooo excited! watching ur videos has helped me decide I really want to do this. Well that's a bit different, residential and RV zoning together. Interested to know how the cost compare to doing that versus an RV lot in a nice resort that you usually stay (and don't use amenities that you have to pay for). Been through Yuma many times going or coming to San Diego to/from Virginia. I like that part of the AZ desert. Enjoy your stay!

What's the approximate cost per month to stay where you are at? By the way, we purchased an Alliance Paradigm 340RL a week before the show started, but at that show. Waiting for the solar and washer/dryer to be installed. Gotta pick up the rig in Sparks, Nevada in another week or so.

Is this place in Yuma set up for R v's... They have full hook UPS ??? What do they charge ???.. Like you ..we do not use all the amenities in a resort... We're hoping that we can make it out there next year if this country holds together... That's going to be our game plan at least... Thanks for the video... It definitely depends on the resort you're comparing with KB. We're paying about 1/2 of what we paid in December though.

Yes we are Paul. We're just on the outskirts of town, so all the amenities that Yuma offers are close.
