This was so cool to watch, it's going to be so awesome when in thirty years we get to see Nine, Ten, and Eleven as a bunch of old dudes sitting around talking about being the doctor.
"Well that's what seven years does to you!" I love Peter Davison's wit in this interview! Can't believe the regeneration was recorded so close to the wire, you'd have thought there would have been more time taken to put it together.
I dont think they are. They muddle along because they've appeared at several dozen conventions at this point, but from what I've seen and heard in interviews, they aren't all that close, and most of them don't seem that keen on Tom Baker
@phily8093 I mean because Tom Baker was more distant to them it doesn't mean he has anything personal with them or viceversa. To be fair Tom was distant to Doctor Who for a bit, refusing to come back in the 20th and starting doing Big Finish in 2012 when the others started way back in 1999 when Big Finish got the Doctor Who license, only Paul McGann was a couple years later (because some license disputes I presume since the movie is owned by... Universal was it?).
Wonderful chap. All four of them. Nay...all eleven! No...all twelve. Or is it thirteen? Oh, all of them! Many thanks to Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy for all the adventures that delighted me on DVD and video back in 2006 and onwards and continuing to delight in the Big Finish audios, spearheaded currently by Nick Briggs.
Very often with videos like this you'll find those on stage are mic'd in such a way that the crowd response is muted no matter what it is. You'd have to see other clips to judge that for this event, but it wouldn't surprise me if there was a sizeable laugh.
'Click here for the full Regenerations panel video' Yea right it's not the full video it's cut up. I guess to fit into the regular broadcast length. But why can't we get the actual full video? It's so hard to find videos of the anniversary.
It's good that we have some classic videos on here for a change, because that means there is no Tennant fan girls in the comments saying how much the show sucks now because Tennant isn't in it. Thank God.
Where have you been? There's more of them on about Matt Smith. I'm not a fan girl an I adore David Tennant. He's witty and charming and I like the way he says words that end in illion. Smith was annoying and gimmicky, but I got used to him. Capaldi was amazing and he is probably the most amazing actor I have ever seen in anything. Or maybe the show is just a lot more dramatic than anything I've seen, but that makes no sense.
@@Anti-HyperLink The scripts during Tennant's time were overall the best of the new Doctor Who series. The quality of the scripts during Matt Smith's run were pretty uneven. Some were very good & others were either a but too over the top. Capaldi's tenure as the Doctor suffered from the majority of the scripts being neh (I said the majority - a few were very very good). Which is a shame because Capaldi is a fine actor. And I'm not even going to comment on the quality (or lack thereof - sorry I couldn't help commenting) of the stories so far for Whittaker. But anyway I think the writing is why your opinion varies so much between the various Doctors'.
Anti-Hyperlink - That's an interesting thought, but it has one vital flaw, it's wrong. No, everyone doesn't like FOUR better than all of the others. Some do. The god-like status that FOUR has, should be given to ONE and TWO, they created the role, and re-created it (allowing all of the other to follow in their footsteps). I don't dislike FOUR, but there are a number of Doctors I prefer.
It'd be funny if they were. The most loved and the most hated? Or did people hate Seven more? And Five's Daughter is Jenny, who was "born" in the Tenth Doctor's Era who met Five.

Tom Baker with Davison, Colin and McCoy. My life is complete.
0:45 "when I changed over to Colin"
I love how the actors don't act like they played the Doctor, they literally BECAME the Doctor.
It's interesting because they were all told to just play themselves. So in reality they did just become the Doctor.
@Clay Tablet Shogun 🤣🤣🤣🤣
My husband said Jon pertwee was the best and the first one he saw
This was so cool to watch, it's going to be so awesome when in thirty years we get to see Nine, Ten, and Eleven as a bunch of old dudes sitting around talking about being the doctor.
+K-La V. Probably not Nine. He might get through one question then flip a table and leave!
Ed Azad He actually regrets not having a second season, so I'd imagine he regrets not being around for the 50th.
Maybe he'll come around after a long time like Baker did.
@@etanaedelman9011 Well I've got some good news
@@tolmat Yes! Big Finish! The world DIDN’T turn around and take a massive shit on us 😉

I love how friendly all the Doctors are with each other.
If Troughton and Pertwee were still alive they'd be play fighting with each other throughout this. :P

"No." Tom Baker is awesome.
Tom Baker has impeccable timing.

I was hoping that Peter was going to offer some sort of explanation for that whole Watcher business.
+zoppie the watcher was the next form of the doctor im plasmavore form
Tom is wearing Ten's suit.
MODERN ART
Tom loves that Suit he’s worn it over there decades
I can't wait to see what they have Capaldi do for that "Click to Subscribe" thing.
oh. and what a job he made of that.
It literally became a meme
lel yeah im sure it won't like (ironically) overshadow his whole performance of the doctor during his run or anything.
This is a piece of history now...
Tom is the coolest guy in the room. Always!!!!
The thing is, Tom Baker knows perfectly well that he isn't just one Doctor among others on this stage...
Pardon?
@@minicle426 hmm?
When I saw Tom at events he never sat with or talked to other doctors seeing him with Peter Colin an dSylvester is IMO quite a surprise
Lol that awkward silence when he was expecting people to laugh.
Trollovon Flidder They did laugh!
... yeah....

Tom Baker always gets a laugh!
I know the video was cut up but it was really enjoyable. Loved it!
I've met Peter, Colin, Sylvester and Paul.
Peter Davison was my fav growing up
Ahhh...old times...
One day I wish to reminisce on my days of time travel...
Is Tom Baker cosplaying Tennant?
Got linked here from a video where Tom said he had exactly the experience Peter said he did!

Doctor Who sucks so much now because David Tennant's not in it. Sorry, couldn't resist.

Tennant is so overated.
Well now he's back in it and it's only gotten worse. Turns out that wasn't it.
Can you please upload the whole panel to youtube HD?
anyone else noticed Tom Baker dressed as Tennants doctor?
Memories!
i thought tom refused to do events with the other doctors
+jhibbitt1 I can't really imagine Tom with other drs
I think because this was an official 50th event to celebrate the show rather than his tenure of the show he didn't mind sharing the stage.
Probably because everyone likes him better than them. 5 doesn't seem bad. 6 and 7 are just no. It's a shame we didn't see more of 8.
Anti-HyperLink Eh 5 is ok, 6 is just no, 7 is underrated as hell

Can you tell Peter Davison that he is my favourite doctor plz plz plz I beg
Where's the full panel show. Would like to see it.
When is the new doctor who series coming out
Autumn
You know what month or just somewhere in autumn?
Am I the only one who noticed that Tom is wearing a suit similar to David's?
I was there
"You're too young."
How ?
Aww, you didn't get the reference :/
EconGeekProductions the Lazarus expirement.
Oh ok
are tom baker and colin baker related?
Davis The Tank Johnson no
No, they're not related...
It'd be funny if they were. The most loved and the most hated? Or did people hate Seven more?
And Five's Daughter is Jenny, who was "born" in the Tenth Doctor's Era who met Five.
Anti-HyperLink 6 and 7 are underrated as hell. 6’s Big finish audios are great and 7’s last two seasons are some of the classics best.

Tom Baker is the best. David Tennant turned Doctor Who into a silly soap opera smothered with kisses and wink wink.
