Combat With Aloha is a collective project comprised of five knife makers (Neil Kamimura, Mareko Maumasi, Kaila Cumings, Andreas Kalani, & William Brigham) who together make up Team Combat, the next generation of knife makers.
Team Combat is not only a group of knifemakers, but a collective family who share techniques, wisdom, and their passion for knife making to show to the world. In this video you will get to know each member of the family, what their skills are, how they got started, and what drives them and makes them the next generation of knife makers. with the Combat with Aloha project, these bladesmiths work together to build a knife using each of their specific strengths and at the same time promote a positive message that demonstrate how the knife making community is a community of positivity, passion, and love for one another. As a team, we wanted to give back to the community so the finished knife is now available for auction and the proceeds will go to Camp Southern Ground to benefit our veterans.

Aloha Neil. I found one of your knifes at the beach years ago. I was at a kieki birthday party today and they needed a cake knife. As soon as I brought your blade out some others recognized it.

When are you going to make an American Katana?
Carrying a knife for example to defend yourself is a really bad idea, be it man or woman. A knife is an attack weapon, not one to defend. In the "best case" you may kill another person and in the worst case the knife gets taken from you and is used against you.
