These were the last games i had played before my 3ds broke and i "grew up" out of my nintendo phase. Well, Here i am now as an adult owning 3 different 3ds consoles and a switch, having finally played all the gens i missed out on during those years.
@Ollie Haze I love Gen 3 and Gen 5. Gen 3 gives me so much nostalgia, the music is great, love the pokémon. Gen 5 also has amazing music and the best storyline and I just love Pokéstar studios, Join Avenue, and Musical. Gen 5 is so unique compared to the other gens and that’s why I love it.

The music at the title screen was so good it SCARED me when I was younger. I’d skip the title screen as fast as I can to not hear the roaring music. One day, I listened to the whole thing and now it’s my favorite music from this game.
Black Kyurem scared the living crap out of me. I was 8 okay, that was pretty horrifying for a small kid. I was like "OMG that scared me! What happened to Zekrom?!". I love Gen 5.
In fact, all of these scenes are a great example of cinematic craftsmanship in action! And its canvas are gaming consoles, which really gives it style!
Gen 9 took that title, but Gen 5 is the Gen that started to really focus on story. I hope a remake we get an improved story of BW1&2. Also would like to actually battle the Seven Sages and meet plasma grunts on there base/liar 😫👌
@@a.x.x8184 I hate to say it but I disagree Gen. 9 story was a train wreck. Not in the fact that it wouldn't work but the fact that they could not Hint at something without completely spoiling it. It was blatantly obvious they were an ai. If the devs had more time, they could have written a much better story that could have followed a similar plot line but much more thought out and better implemented Sidenote: I love the fact that the entire story is about AI and glitches when the game is so darn broken it's so ironic! I myself did not buy the game because I hate the current state that the pokemon company is in where they rush their development team and don't put any thought or effort into their games anymore mainly because the devs dont have time since they're being rushed so much they only care about is the money and nothing of the player base. 2 years later gen 9 came out and is by far the hardest, has a decent story and enjoyable designs and characters and lore. Gen 9 is def my 3rd fave now 😂❤

i surely hope i'm not the only one that shares this opinion, because for me these two intros, combined, may as well be the most epic and grandioso gamefreak has ever been in all of the pokemon titles. i think it's fitting, seeing as it also marked the ending of the DS and this type of pokemon entries.
I might get hate for this, but I like White Kyurem better, it just looks more regal. Plus the arm and head floofs look pretty darn majestic. I also like that they kept the reshiram claws and fused them with kyurem’s tiny T-Rex arms. Plus, it looks pretty ICE powered up, I like the ice mandibles on it better than Black Kyurem’s, since White’s are joined at the chin, making it more…aesthetically pleasing to me. Overall I think the design is pretty FIRE. Don’t get me wrong, I love Black Kyurem too, and blue’s my favorite color, but the fact that I like Reshiram better, combined with the stuff I mentioned is enough to beat Black Kyurem’s gorilla arms. Fight me.
Black kyurem is more beast-like with muscle all over. Massive biceps and forearms, and the arms are badshit long White kyurem is more ethereal and astute and cooler looking
The intro music to this game is impressive, especially with the DS sound chip. It sounds very orchestral, which is something you don't expect from a DS sound chip. That is part of why Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 are my favorite games in the series.
