      I just took my three out this morning and I'm always amazed at how fast they open and turn green. I will enjoy them for a few weeks and then let them go back to sleep 😴.

    I've done this many times and I've learned that if you do it on a sponge it works much better and you can keep it alive for longer without molds

    • @familyman1110
      @familyman1110 4 роки тому

      I would also say that this plant genus does benefit from a little bit of mold it's a symbiotic relationship not too much though as far as their survival upon it

      I also noticed that you added some clear and green media this is a good thing this offers purification and wealth growth

    Wow; this is fascinating! I have never seen anything like it before! Thank you for sharing!! :)
    I can’t help but wonder, if you were to suspend this plant just above the water so that it would have to reach with a root for more water (once it’s ‘awake’, I mean), might that prevent mild formation?

    Just got three from a store that sells items to practitioners of wicca and other new age religions who use these plants in their rituals. I don't practice any of these but I'm a plant nut.

      @@DowntheWormHole I put it out under the full moon on Thursday with a pyrite crystal in the center and then I allowed the rose to close around it. I will gift it to someone I know who needs protection, good health, and emotional well being.

    You had that plant for 8 years and it’s still alive that’s crazy! Dinosaur 🦕 age! I would love to watch it grow that’s so cool. It’s my second plant video today. So they can be woke up and put back to sleep for another use another day? I’m lost lol but don’t worry I think this is awesome!
    Yessss I’m ready plant it already hehe 😜
    That’s something else. So you plant it for a few weeks then it needs to be removed so it won’t mold.... So how does it get Big and flourish if you have to remove it ?
    This is something else I’m like blown away at what I’m learning
    It’s soaking now...
    Still watching
    I wonder what religion uses this?
    I’m going to skip ahead now I can’t wait I’m interested lol

      Many religions and practices use this plant. Most see it as a symbol of renewal, blessings, prosperity, and as a reminder to not waste time. Basically Carpe Dium.

    Is there a way to propagate these? And do the roots grow at all?

    • @DowntheWormHole
      @DowntheWormHole  4 роки тому +1

      not that I have found. if my plant has even grown at all over the last 5 years it is too small for me to notice. If you do find a way that would be very neat!

    • @yesyquinn878
      @yesyquinn878 4 роки тому +1

      If you place it on good soil at the time she start open she spreading seeds all over the soil and will propagate is why the plant open after a rain and then close your welcone😊
